In July of 1870, Alrik Linstrum moved to the United states of America with his large family of 6. They moved from Switzerland to get away from all the miserable stuff that was now happening to them. Finding a place in Washington they had all began to settle down, finding jobs to keep the family going. Alrik happened to be the oldest out of his siblings, so he was more to go out and find one just to bring food back to the table. Finding a job there he began to work on the coal mines. It was indeed a hard job but he did get there just in time. A few years later he met up with another young Swedish girl, Birget Lundberg, who had happened to live just outside of Seattle, another small town not to far away. Of course he was breath taken. He had never seen such a beautiful young girl and on in a family of one.
Trying for many months to get her attention, Alrik had Finally succeeded. He swooned her by taking her out to many get together's in the small town, like lunch, and everything else. After meeting the parents, way before they had ever gotten married, Birget and Alrik were expecting their first child, little Elsa. It was complicated to tell them back then since they thought it was horribly wrong to have children outside a marriage. After Elsa was 3 months old, her parents decided to get married. Not even a year later, they were expecting their first set of twins, Hanna and Elin. Although Alrik had wanted at least one boy, it never really bothered him. He was more than set with his three young beautiful daughters. Moving from his parents home, they bought a small house in Forks, Washington. There they had raised the small girl, adding onto each and every room. Alrik began to make more and more money since he decided to work even harder and longer.
Time passed, and they moved to a much bigger just outside of Seattle where Alrik and Birget had lived. The house was fairly big, just big enough for his family. As Years had passed on Elsa's 17th birthday, her father had began to grow sick and weak. This was the last thing she had needed was to loose her loving father. After calling doctor's, the Linstrum's found out that Alrik was now dying of yellow fever. A disease that would soon spread throughout his whole body and kill him. Of course this was bound to break Birget's heart since she felt he was too young to pass.
On December 12, 1902. He had passed leaving his children and wife behind. It was heart wrenching for the whole family. Money began to go low, and the costs soared. Finally everyone went out looking for work. Birget worked as a stay at hoe mother for her other two, and Elsa went to work as a full time nurse. The depression was now starting to take hold. As Elsa worked, Birget began to grow a farm, selling milk daily as she would take it to town. Working was beginning to take allot out of the family, but it had to be done. Elin and Hanna began to work on the farm also to make what they did. Two years passed and the farm began to take off, bringing them in as much money as they had needed. But the horrible thing was Yellow Fever somehow caught up to both her mother, and her sister Elin. Of course, that would be the end for them both also. 3 months and 14 days later they had both passed, leaving Elsa to take care of her and her younger sister Hanna. Elsa felt it was best to get her sister into the same kind of field that she was in. There they had both made great money, being able to keep up on things that had needed to be done.
On a late night evening in August of 1906, Both Hanna and Elsa were getting off work, trying to make their way home. As soon as they made it to their long dirt road, they noticed a few oddly looking males standing outside their house. Quickly she sent Hanna inside so that she could deal with them. One had asked for her cattle. But as soon as she told them they were too late, they ended up growing meaner with her. One of them shot in the house after Hanna. Not even 5 minutes later, Elsa was brutally attacked. The man she had thought was a man, was clearly not. His eyes were as red as the fire that burned inside her fireplace. His hands cold, and painful. The man ended up holding her down, biting her neck and not letting go.
Waking up from what had seemed to be a coma, she rolled to her side noticing her sister was not in sight. As Elsa walked into the house, she noticed Hanna still on the floor. Dead. Of course that was the worst thing to witness, but she had to endure it. Elsa was now on her own. A loner, and Vampire.
Decades passed, as she still lived in Seattle. There she bought a house just big enough for herself. All the money she had earned over those years, she put to allot of new things.
