Character Basics
Name: Heath Scott
Nickname:
Age: 18
Appearance
Looks: Relatively tall (wolfily speaking) with a lean but muscular build, Heath’s figure is not as overstated as many of his pack mates’. A quirk of genetics has given him his father’s startling blue eyes, which are framed with thick black lashes and his hair is of a similar black colour. Heath tends to keep his hair at a manageable length as its tendency to curl makes it uncontrollable if it gets too long, but he also doesn’t like the shaven look. He developed the ability to grow a beard at a relatively young teenage age and finds it a pain to shave for work (which he has to do), so whenever he is on holiday or there’s a long weekend, he chooses to leave a deep shadowy impression on his chin.
As a wolf Heath retains his figure, being a little more streamline than some of his pack mates, but size-wise he is moderate. His coat is a dark grey in colour, but his also retain the pigment of his human eyes, which is a little unusual.
Scars, tattoos, other marks: None
Portrayed by: Henry Cavill
Personality and Stats
Basic Personality: Generally speaking, Heath is an uncomplicated guy. He’s sweet and attentive, though some of his ideas can be a little old fashioned. He has seen, through his life, how his father has treated women and this has made him more attentive, not wanting to emulate his behaviour. He will be the guy that opens a door for an approaching woman, and who will phone to make she has arrived home okay after a day out. He can get a little righteous when it comes to seeing something he feels is wrong, though over the years he has learned to keep most of it to himself. He has strong beliefs in certain things, but still has an open mind for what others believe too.
Species: Wolf
Abilities: None
Occupation: Office worker off the rez.
Car: Black Renault Clio
History:
Birthplace: La Push, Washington
Family: Jerome Scott (Father), Holly Scott (Mother), Kele Pine (Half-sister)
Friends: Quil Ateara
History: Heath was born to a not particularly loving couple in La Push. He wasn’t mistreated in any way by either parent, but they divorced shortly after his birth, though Heath never really found out why, nor did he pry. He didn’t realise it was because another girl was born around the same time in another location, his half-sister.
Growing up he realised quickly that his dad was a bit of a jerk, coasting through a stream of girlfriends, which were never around long enough for Heath to grow attached to. As he continued to grow and understood better what was going on, he realised just what it meant to be ‘a man’ and vowed never to fall into his father’s footsteps. Every girlfriend he has had since the ninth grade, no matter how petty, has enjoyed his kind, courteous countenance. However, through his long life as both a human and werewolf, he has never really developed a proper connection with anyone other than passing friends.
Heath first changed into a wolf when he was eighteen (Late Eclipse) and since that time he has developed a close friendship with Quil as one of the only members of the pack to keep their wolf status. This was due to the fact that he does not have an imprintee to grow old with and sees no point in cutting his life short for nothing. He also enjoys patrolling for the rez, though the implications of not ageing have made it a little more complicated than he liked.
His mother had left the Reservation when he was four, wanting a more exciting life and so she had moved to the city (where she was originally from in any case) and his father left the reservation shortly after Heath’s twentieth birthday having gained himself a bad reputation around the rez. Perhaps if he had been close to his parents, Heath may have felt bad for these facts, but it actually made it easier for him to keep a low profile without exposing himself. He still speaks to his parents on the ‘phone, but hasn’t in person for many years. He has also made sure that he moves around after a couple of years in one location, spending a couple of years in La Push, then moving to Neah Bay, a while in Port Angeles so that people didn’t notice that he wasn’t changing in appearance.
His jobs haven’t been the most exciting in the world, merely staying in the office circuit, but he regards that as just a nine to five. His real vocation is protecting the reservation and his passion is dance. He began to pay for his own dance lessons when he was twelve years old, though he kept it secret from his friends at school, knowing that it would evoke scorn from them. He always enjoyed it, though, getting into and giving himself up to the music. He has never really found anyone to share that particular hobby with and he longs to make a connection the way that the vast majority of his pack have described. He has begun to wonder whether his bad roots have tainted his ability to do this, but he continues to live in hope.
