{Mid New Moon}
Crystal was waiting outside the restaurant where she was meeting Will, she heard about him through friends and was hoping to get to know him tonight see if he was going to be good friends. She hasnt had many friends she has always been a bit of a loner even at school and when she was a little girl she was always seen on her own alot.
Since being in the band she has gorwn more confident in herself.Since her parents divorce when she was 12 she went through a phase and started liking anything black. She even kept a distant from her family locking herself in her room for hours and never seeing anyone.
It was a bit of a cold night it was a nice breeze she was wearing her usual black dress, black nail polish, black highlights in her hair, black stockings and black boots. She liked to be different to everybody else. She looked at her watch hoing Will wasnt late.

((OOC: please add a time tag for this post too so we know where it fits in the series, thanks))
One of Will's friends had invited him to dinner that night in Port Angeles. They said they were also inviting someone else who they thought he'd get along well with. But an hour or so before dinner was to start, the friend bailed and Will was left meeting a stranger. He hoped she was going to end up being cool and it wouldn't be too boring of an evening for either of them. Hopefully they also had enough in common that it wouldnt end up in awkward silence.
No matter where Will went, he usually didnt get all that dressed up. But for dinner in Port Angeles he figured it deserved at least a button down shirt with his usual jeans and leather jacket. He had bleached the tips of his hair about a week ago and his fingers had black nail polish on them.
As Will approached the restaurant he saw a young blond girl standing outside. She seemed to fit the description that his friend had given him. "You must be Crystal" He said as he approached her, his voice showing a hint of his London accent.

Will nodded as she told him that he wasn't how she had expected him to be. "Well you'll have to tell me over dinner how you expected me to be" He said wondering what impression their mutual friend had given her of him.
He was a little surprised by her wording and revelation that she already knew that he 'you know, liked men' and gave a light chuckle shaking his head. "Yeah, that I do" He commented, knowing it wouldnt have been the first thing he had told her but thinking it was probably good that the girl did already know so that she wouldnt think this was some sort of date. "Yeah I'm ready to eat, let's go" He said, holding the door open for her then following her inside.

(OOC: Don't forget, posts need to be in third person - "She" not "I" )
Will followed Crystal inside the restaurant as they were seated at one of the tables. "Oh yeah?" He said as he sat down and started looking at the menu. "I've never been here before, but I had heard it was supposed to be pretty good"
Will looked back down at the menu for a moment. "Have any dishes you recommend, or anything to avoid?" He asked for her opinion since she had been here before. If she wasn't underage he would have asked her what kind of beer was on tap here, or offered to buy her a shot or something. But since she wasn't 21 yet, and he was pretty sure this was the type of place to card, he'd have to find something else they could talk about. "So, tell me about your band"

"Good to know" Will remarked with a nod as she informed him that there really wasn't anything bad on the menu that he should worry about avoiding. He was sure it was really all a matter of personal taste, but an endorsement of the food was always nice to hear.
He listened to her as she described the other members of her band as well as the type of music they played. "Maybe I'll have to check you guys out sometime" He said thinking it could be interesting, and always enjoying hearing a band play. "What's the name of your band?" He asked her.
Will gave a light laugh as she asked about when he came out. He didn't mind talking about it, to him it was like asking about his hair color, just another facet of who he was. "Well I guess I came out to myself towards the end of high school. I'm not sure if my parents know, I never tried to hide it but there was no big announcement either. My friends have all known since I've graduated, so going on over a decade now."

"Dead Until Tomorrow" Will repeated the name of her band with a nod. "Got a nice ring to it"
He gave some thought to her question. How did he know when to come out. He was sure that it was different with everyone who did it and felt like for him it wasn't some big event that had happened. He couldn't even pinpoint it to one day or conversation with someone that made it happen. It just seemed to be there.
"I don't know...I guess I didn't really pick the timing or think it was the right time, it was just sort of me realizing just because the norm of society wants me to date women doesn't mean that's what I'm attracted to...no offense" He told her with a smirk. "So once I figured out who I was, I just lived my life that way, it didn't take long for friends to figure out my orientation, but I never really spoke to my parents making sure they know. I guess somewhere I know that would just be one more disappointment that I've given to them, but its still not something I'm hiding. " He tried his best to explain. "Your cousin's lucky at least you understand so he knows there's one person, but it's too bad about his parents. I hate hearing stuff like that, its just bloody awful"

"That can't be easy" Will commented as he listened to Crystal describe her father leaving his mother for a woman barely older than her. "Guess it does explain the rebellion, but there's gotta be a point too when you're living your life this way for you, not just for their attention or to get back at anyone. At the end of the day, its your happiness at stake, not theirs. Its good you ended up at least enjoying it, would have been a pity otherwise...it does seem to suit you" He commented.
