(Pre-Twilight, New York City)
It was past midnight and the perfect time for Lily to be out on the streets of New York City. She was hungry. She was dressed to perfection as always. She had just come from a bit of after hours shopping at one of the finer boutique's in the city. She had found a royal blue dress that fit perfectly, coming down to about knee level, sleeveless with a draped neck, low enough to show off a bit of cleavage to lure the men. She had also found a great pair of heels to match.
Now that she was dressed to kill, it was time to kill. She walked the streets, a predatorial motion to her gait though she moved slow in case someone was watching her so as not to give it away. The problem with hunting this late was that you usually ended up either having to go to the more crowded sections and lure someone away, or play the waiting game for someone to find you on a more secluded location.
After a short time of nothing but cars passing by her, she decided that the only humans she was going to find here would be the drivers. She wasn't feeling very picky tonight so figured she'd pick up a cab. She moved over to the curb of the street and waited for the next taxi to drive by to hail it.

Viktor dropped the butch Latin woman to the ground by his feet. He leaned over her and dug into the breast pocket of her black suit jacket. Talk about wishing she were a man, even her scent was masculine. Joop, was the fragrance, he was almost positive. He smiled as his hand rested on the cold metal of the gun that was deep within the pouch. Removing the safety he applied his silencer to the silver and black pistol and pulled the trigger three times. What blood was left in her body seeped out of her skull.
The man tossed the gun into the glove department and sped away. Today he had been in no mood to watch the manly woman squirm. Usually though it would have made him smile. But today was another day in a series of ongoing hours and minutes. Today, Viktor didn’t want to be bothered.
He zipped his way through the streets packed with cars, ignoring the music that blasted from all the speakers. He set eyes on a woman by the curb; she was beautiful even from such a distance. With a tap the blinker came to life and he switched lanes. He truly didn’t need to feed at the moment, but distractions from the world he was unwillingly brought into, any distractions were welcome.

Lily stood on the sidewalk looking into the street, giving a sigh as she waited for the next taxi to arrive. If she actually needed to rely on those damned machines for transportation, she'd never have the patience to put up with waiting for them. She wanted things when she wanted them, without waiting. Luckily she could run faster than any car could drive and this was only waiting for a meal. She knew it was bound to drive up sooner or later. Who knew you could get delivery in New York at this time of night? She grinned at the thought.
She didnt stand with her hand out, waving frantically or sticking out a thumb like a lowly hitchhiker but instead just stood their, waiting for the driver to come to her as she spotted the cab. She smirked as she saw the automobile switch on its blinker and pull to the curb to pick her up. Couldnt have been easier. She decided to kill him the driver from the backseat. He wouldn't be able to squirm and if he stepped on the accelerator, he'd hit a pole and everyone would assume the accident killed him. She knew he'd be drained long before any crash.
Lily opened up the back door and slid in, letting her dress hike up a few inches as the car seat rubbed against it. She looked into the rear view mirror ready to give a seducing smile before taking her prey when she got her first look at the driver. It was not suitable for dinner. "What the hell are you doing?"

Her scent seemed to have filled the taxi before she had even settled in. It was a scent he had most recently begun to be accustomed with. His eyes gazed into the rear view mirror, she was gorgeous but all of their kind seemed to be inhumanly beautiful. It was a constant reminder as he was now no more a human than wax sculpture at Madame Tussauds. Just like those imitators, Viktor too was an imposter in the world of man.
His eyes caught the pale flesh were her skirt had hiked up and he grinned before looking back to the road and pressing on the gas. “Well I’m sorry sweet cheeks,” he began as he made his way into the middle lane just before the red light decided to make him pause in time. “But unless I am mistaken you were the one who needed my services,” he said with a wink as he glanced at the pretty woman through the rear view mirror. “Where to?”

Upon discovering that the driver of the vehicle was in fact without a pulse (and therefore would not satisfy her urge for dinner), Lily was more than a little put off by the inconvenience. Even more, the vampire (who under other circumstances she may have noted was attractive), added to her annoyance by stepping on the gas and taking her who knows where on some joyride. Her eyes gave an icy glare through the rearview mirror before she settled back into her seat, giving he air of a woman being chauffeured around town, taking control in her own way.
"Your services were not the ones I was seeking, this car of yours is a little like false advertising...you think its a nice little human all boxed up and ready for the eating" She said shaking her head in mock disappointment, smiling a bit at his wink, her annoyance eased a bit as she enjoyed the flirtations. She looked casually out to the streets as he asked where to. "Well I had been hoping you were a bit of delivery, but perhaps you know a place were we can get takeout"
