Rosalie closed her eyes while her shoulders shook, listening to Alice take the little dress and go completely overboard with the Victorian Tea Party. It sounded ridiculous, but things tended to turn out intricate and interesting when Alice took interest in it. Every once in a while, Rosalie let her join in planning one of her weddings, and it always turned out to be great. She could almost hear the wheels in Alice's head turning, thinking of exactly where and how many and what sizes; things she would get for each of the family that would participate. Rosalie would have been fine with some simple pictures of her niece, sitting on their white sofa in the pretty dress. She would definitely get them done and then Alice would have her way as well.
As their items were emptied from their cart and placed on the counter, Rosalie gave the cashier a delicate smile to try to calm her down. It was evident that she was startled not only from the size of their pile, but also from the appearance of the two women themselves. "Do you think she'll like shopping with us too?" she asked Alice. "Or is she going to be difficult like Bella?"

"I think Nessie is a lot more like us than she is both Bella and Edward, those party poopers don't like to do anything but stay home but what can we do...Bella can't go outside yet," Of course their newest sister was confined to the house and surrounding area seeing as she was a new vampire. They very much couldn't have her running around as if nothing had happened and with a close encounter her first week it was best to have her in-doors. Not that Bella liked it but it was for the best. Bringing up the topic of Bella's first week she remembered what had happened to the dress she had worn reminded her, "Bella still owes me a dress...tore it up like it was nothing," the woman at the counter began to ring up the items faster, seeing as there were a lot of items, "Actually it's Edward that owes me still a car and a new dress."
Edward still hadn't bought her a car like he'd promise but there was plenty of time in the year.

Smiling gently, Rosalie took an inventory of everything they'd picked out as the cashier scanned it them before putting them into one of the several shopping bags they'd be walking out with. She could already imagine Nessie walking in and out of stores with them, hand in hand. It actually would be sooner than they had expected. Nessie's growth rate was incredibly fast, and she would reach a shopping inclined age very soon. Rose felt a bit of apprehension, remembering how much she had already grown over night, how she had mentally calculated the difference in her mind that morning when she woke up. It was a shame that Alice's powers were useless for Nessie. It would have eased all of their minds if she could tell them if the growth would stop, or slow down. Something. But no such luck. "I think we should bring her some time soon," she said with her smile faltering, not wanting to think about what would happen if Nessie missed her chance. "I think you're right, she'd definitely like it."
A smirk threatened to replace her weakened smile, remembering Bella's first day as a vampire. The dress had been torn by exertion and stained by prey; it had amused all of them except for Alice who had dressed her and knew the value of the dress itself. "I think you're better off picking out a new dress on your own," she told her laughing a bit, "It's going to take a few decades to give Bella enough motivation to even match clothes."

"Yeah, on our next outing I think it'd be a good time to have her around and she'll be able to pick out what she'd like instead of Auntie Rose and Auntie Alice doing all the shopping for her." They had yet to see what was Nessie's personal style yet with her clothing always being picked and rather she never seemed to mind whatever they'd dressed her in. Alice reached in, picking up the last items, and placing them onto the counter before waiting for everything to be finalized. "It'll be a little difficult I assume for Bella to let us bring her along with us but if Edward was with us it'd be also a great father-daughter bonding experience for the both of them. That way Bella would be at ease." Alice knew that once her little niece stepped out of their home the world had better watch out. Who couldn't resist little Nessie?
Alice scrunched up her nose, "I just don't understand how Bella could be so averted to fashion, its just beyond me, well we'll see about that. Edward is a bit of a nancy-boy sometimes when it comes to his own clothing. With so much hair I don't know how he does it," Of course she was one to talk, Jasper hair was like that of a lion though he didn't spend much time with it and it was always perfect in her eyes. He never faught with her when it came to being dressed.

Rosalie had already calculated the total they would be spending that day in her mind, and was starting to get impatient with the human speed of the cashier. She knew she should be more understanding, but she was wanting to see her niece again. "I'm sure if both Edward and Nessie came shopping, Bella wouldn't be able to resists," she assured her sister. Bella and herself were almost polar opposites. One tall, blonde and grand while the other was petite, brunette and modest. Rosalie liked her cars, clothing and anything elegant and extravagant. Bella was more simple, donned t-shirts (even as a vampire) and preferred running. But it was Nessie and the whole situation around her birth that had revealed how much alike they really were. If her husband and child were doing something she didn't particularly enjoy, she'd endure it just to be with them. These were the parts she understood the best of Bella, and it was on that which they had built their friendship.
Giggling a little at Alice's description of their brother, she couldn't agree more. "Yes, I think Edward gave into our shopping tendencies, he can dress himself pretty well. Let's see if he rubs off on Bella a little bit." While Alice thought of her lover, Rosalie's mind wandered to her own. She grinned at the double meaning that he certainly would have picked up on and made scene to point out. A part of her wondered how Emmett would dress if left to his own devices. Rose didn't pick out what he wore every day, but his wardrobe was picked out by her; whatever he picked from it would make him look amazing.

It was only seven minutes after they'd gone to the counter that the girl had finally rung up the last of their items. Alice couldn't help but try to contain the excitement brewing in the depths of her barren stomach, it wouldn't be to long a drive back home and they'd be able to get Nessie into the latest fashions for her daily shoots. Of course, there was still the whole "got-to-get-Jacob-a-decent-suit" for a more traditional "human" posing picture with possible Bella and Edward as well. Rosalie would more than likely sit on this one though it was something that needed to be done. Whatever suits Jacob had left at home probably wouldn't have fit him anyway with his newly acquired physique since they'd all come back from Alaska. Placing the last of the bags into the cart, a little faster than she should, Alice took out her wallet and began to count the exact amount for the cashier. Placing the exact amount of money and change in the girls hands before it being rung up amazed the cashier though weirded her out more than anything. Than again it wasn't something that she wasn't use to be referred as. Alice was even considered a little freak sometimes within her own home from her older brothers and husband at times. "Thank you," She smiled at the baffled girl and began to wheel the cart out of the store. It was a good days spent shopping and they weren't even done. "All we have left is Jacob's suit and than we can go home to little Nessie!"

Watching Alice make the purchase, she was hoping she would run out of cash so they wouldn't have to go buy anything for Jacob. Of course it would have been pointless since Alice surely had several credit cards in addition to the cash, especially since she knew Rosalie wouldn't even think about using hers for such a purpose. Of course, money wasn't an object to them, Rosalie would have refused on principle. It had annoyed her severely how easily he had been accepted into their family, a thousand times more than it had been with Bella. It was as if the Quileutes threats had never happened, and all the past transgressions were so easily forgotten.
She didn't bother looking at the cashier again, she probably would need a few moments to recover, and strolled next to her sister. She was ready to get back already, but Alice insisted on getting the werewolf an outfit. "Seriously, Alice. Why not let him dress himself. He seems to enjoy the 'homeless' look anyway. There's no point in getting him anything." She look straight ahead and avoided the look Alice was sure to give her. She didn't need to be a seer for that. She knew they would eventually do as Alice wanted, but Rosalie wasn't going down with at least a few hits.
