“Touche,” she said simply KITT was pretty frickin’ awesome and she couldn’t lie about that. If she did, he’d probably see right through it anyway. Gabriella was just about the worst liar in human history. But that was most likely cause lying was pointless. Fitting in wasn’t necessarily one of Gabby’s goals in life, and therefore she couldn’t care less what people thought of her. Her only attempt at fitting in was trying to impress people...but that didn’t happen very often. It was a strange affair when the girl felt that need.
“Oh,” she said the smile painted on her face. At least that seemed to mean she wouldn’t have to leave so soon, or so she hoped. Though she couldn’t explain why, she still felt a little fuzzy headed. Maybe she was getting sick...
She heard the question even though in that moment his voice seemed far away as she found herself lost in her thoughts. She was thankful for the distraction...wandering the inner workings of ones mind sounded like scary territory. A place where insecurities bloomed and festered. “Yups, mostly painting and sewing though, I’ve finally accepted the sculpting isn’t my forte. Although I just finished my wall, its covered in seashells, taken me years to round up enough of them,” she laughed. She didn’t worry about Embry thinking she wasn’t normal...he’d known that for years.
“Still hang out with Jake and Quil?” She asked. To be honest she was amazed she remembered their names...
