Parker hopped out of her car and looked around her with a grin, pulling her bag from the passenger seat and slinging it over her shoulder. She couldn’t believe she hadn’t thought of it before. La Push was the perfect place to work on her designs. Colourful, quiet, natural, it had everything she needed for inspiration without the added hassles of cars and...frowning to herself as a car drove by, breaking her train of thought. Okay, so not many cars at least she corrected herself as she locked the car doors and headed off down the street.
Having found a car park near what looked to be a medical centre of some sort, she had decided that what she really needed was space. Just a little space so she could look around her and really think. Paige was at school as always, and her parents were busy doing whatever her parents did. She never really noticed that side of things much lately, she had too much to concentrate on, like her precious portfolio. Her hand clutched at the bag as a grin spread across her face again and a quick little skip took the place of one of her steps. The folder of sketches and photos in her bag was her passport to stardom, or at least a well-paid job, and the more she could get in there, the better it would be. Who wanted to be an accountant or a lawyer when you could dress the world?
She giggled to herself at the thought, her mind wandering to the concept of catwalk models one day wearing an ‘authentic Parker Warren’. “I like that” she murmured to herself with a nod, the words changing quickly to a squeak as one of her flip-flops slid partway off her foot, sending that foot skidding forward as the other stayed in place and twisted painfully sideways. Her eyes widened almost comically as she felt herself falling, doing something resembling a form of the splits before falling sideways. “Ow” she groaned as she watched her bag go flying, the papers and notepads spilling out of it as it hit the ground upside down. She could only hope that, as she attempted to pull all her limbs back to the correct position, wincing as her ankle jolted with the movement, none of her beloved sketches had been ruined.
(OOC: hope it's okay, let me know if not ^_^ )
