[Open to all Cullens]
It wasn't that clever of an excuse that Dr. Cullen took his family camping during the better days in Forks. Who in there right minds would believe such a lie but the humans had bought it. Maybe it was because they themselves rarely saw such a bright and beautiful day during this time of the year, or much of it, but no one questioned. Sure, a few students were jealous and she didn't need to ask Edward if it was true. The answer was already etched into their soft fleshy faces. It made her smile, laugh a little, they didn't realize that they needed the schooling to get by in the real world. A world she'd already become accustomed to since the day she "born". Alice wasn't jealous and thought that they shouldn't have been either. Yes the life she lead was rather glamourous at times but without those she loved it was boring. The only thing she found interesting were the seasonal changes and what it brought. New techonolgy, the Cullen's home showed that, and new fashion, some old being brought back into style, though the mindset hadn't changed much. People didn't believe anymore and as a Cullen she was rather glad for that. If everyone shared the same beliefs than her kind wouldn't have been able to thrive. The Volturi wouldn't exist. The Cullen the same.
"Such a beautiful day," Alice sat at the top of a tall tree and basked in the sun, her skin shining like diamonds, as she soaked up the UV rays. They wouldn't never give her cancer nor would she have cared if she'd fallen. Alice always tended to land right on her feet. It was part of what she was. A vampire. The sun warmed her cold flesh slightly. Around her the rest of the Cullen clan hunted.

Edward had needed to hunt more frequently ever since Bella Swan came to Forks, and ever since Edward had decided to not run away from his temptation but face it head on. He knew that feeding frequently was his best defense against hurting her. Her draw was so strong, it was almost too powerful for him, but still he needed to see her. It was almost hard for him to feed however when he thought of how good she smelled. The animals were no where near as appetizing as that scent was. But still he forced himself to feed. He over-fed on the hunting trips, glutting himself with the blood in any attempt to maintain some control.
Finishing off a deer, he took a break from the hunt for a moment to look up at his sister, perched in a tree. She seemed more interested at the moment in enjoying the sun than in hunting, and he wondered briefly if this trip had been more for his benefit than the rest of the family's need to hunt again this soon. He felt guilty, knowing that every time he saw Bella, he was putting them at risk as well, something Rosalie was always too happy to point out to him. But Alice's calmness about the situation gave him hope that he could actually control himself. "It is nice" He agreed."Such nice parents we have to take us out camping" he added with a smirk.

There were many advantages to being a vampire. The majority of them did not interest Rosalie Hale one bit, but there were a few perks she couldn't shy away from. Encouraging her vanity since the first time she'd seen herself, her infinite physical beauty was impossibly magnified by the rays of the sun. As she took her time choosing her own prey that day, running through the wooded area they frequented, she was again mesmerized by her glimmering skin. She heard her brother and sister speak a few hundred yards away, and quickly turned in her path to join them.
The deer Edward had just finished smelled enticing, though Rosalie was saving her kills until right before they left. They had come only to accompany Edward, though Rosalie was brought by Emmett and much against her will. After decades of having lived with Edward, Rosalie was pretty good at changing her thoughts to something she didn't want him to hear. It wasn't a perfect technique, and the remnants of disapproval and frustration still tainted her thoughts as she concentrated them on the half a dozen or so heartbeats that were in their vicinity. It was an argument they were going to have often, she was sure, but for one day, she didn't want to think about Isabella Swan, and just enjoy the day with her family sans the human.
She gave Alice a stunning grin and nodded. "It's good to see the sun every once in a while," she admitted. Washington allowed them a little bit more like humans, but the cosmic yellow orbs was still a lovely sight.

Edward's appearance hadn't startled her but it had brought her out of the day-dream. A dream she'd have once in a while of what it would be like to be human again. Alice was from the early 1900's and the fashion of that era wasn't much to desire compare to the following eras afterwards. Though she had to say that the fashion from the 40's and the 50's were exciting and the mod era was a dream. The colors were just what she'd always dreamt of and seen in her vision. "At least we can say that we're only living half the lie. We are technically camping without the real camping experience." Alice had always wanted to try out for the gymnastics team, as she trapized through the tree towards the ground, though it would have been easy for her to forget her own abilities.
Rosalie was next to join them and it was good to see her sister happy. It had bothered her that Rosalie hadn't taken a liking to Bella but she understood and didn't judge her. In the beginning Alice had felt the same, though slightly, but with a quick thought and a vision that had changed the second time she'd glanced the unusually pale human. "Though I only wish we could go to the beach during the day. Its always nice to catch a few rays and play in the surf." Alice could think of other things to do but poor Edward would have to be subjected to that and it made her laugh out loud. Everyone had already looked at the petite girl as if she wasn't "normal" but at least her husband and family took it for just Alice being Alice.

It was a sunny day out, so Jasper and his family were going 'camping' again. He paced outside restlessly, he hated being confined to a certain area. Jasper then formulated a plan to fight the boredom threatening to overtake him. Without a second thought, he began to run through the forest trying to find his wife and the others that had accompanied her out. Jasper smelt a group of deer and hesitated, he didn't absolutely need to hunt but it would be a nice precaution. With a small smile he decided to chase down the deer then his family.
With a burst of inhuman speed he caught up to the deer and pouncing drained one and then another, before carefully hiding the carcasses. Jasper then continued running towards his wife's familiar scent. As he ran he let his thoughts wander to the city of Forks, it was nice enough not large, but hardly ever sunny. Being a vampire it was advisable to stick to the larger towns where disappearances would be less likely to be noticed or rainy towns with no sun. Jasper was getting closer to his family and Edward would no doubt hear his thoughts now. He neared them just in time to hear Alice's beautiful laugh.

Alice saw him coming before he'd even taken off from the corpse of the deer. The meat would feed another while they'd drank the blood and it was a good balanced between them and the other creatures. Of course she'd tried other types of prey, bears and cougars were challenges, though she'd taken on a ram once and going head to head with it was rather a sight. The animal was dazed when she'd taken it down and left it for the wolves that were nearby. Wolves had been once her favorite animal for their grace and beauty. The real thing were beautiful than any picture or movie could depict.
Just as Jasper neared she used the last branch to jump off and land near him, her arms opened, "Nice of you to join us! Eddy and Rosalie are already here. The rest are somewhere."
