Luna, luna oh you make me swoon. The moon`s dim light shined over the open clearing, giving shapes around her a fuzzy outline. Soft rustleing interrupted the peaceful stillness around her, breaking the tones. She had come out here even though she didn`t go to the school, just for some peace and quiet. Her big sister had gone to take a look around. Rolling her eyes, she focused on what she was writing. She knew she wanted a little more companionship than just her, she wanted a romantic guy around to keep her company. She hadn`t had a boyfriend in either of her lifetimes. Smiling at the thought of a boyfriend she might have, most of them would probably fall for someone else in the end. Yea, maybe she would be mad, but most of them would have been jerk offs anyways, noone good enough for her. but now while everyone sleeps, their heads laid down on their soft pillows, here she is. In the middle of a dimlit clearing, writing lyrics, playing the violin, and singing. Yea, she is weird, but she doesn`t care what you think. The only time she thought about what someone else said was when a elder spoke to her, and they usually had good points if she took the time to listen. Sitting up, she grabbed her cherry wood instrument and tucked it under her chin, drawing the bow across the strings to play a soft, mournful tune. She sung of a tale of two lovers who couldn`t be togeher, almost like a morbid Romeo and Juliet.
we could be we should be but we can`t be you and me
Letting the tones sink into her mind, she wrote them down on the pad of paper and re-tucked the violin. Her arm sawed back and forth as she sought for a melody to fit her song. Anya and her played in bars or art cellars for money and they usually paid well, but here was nothing except a girl with a passion for the arts. She wasn`t half as good as Anya had been, but she could play the hell out of a violin. finding a note she stuck to it and whistled along and tried out her second set of lyrics, her voice lighting up the night and catching the harks of nearby animals
it`s like slow poison but we can`t let it spread it`s like a perfect denile
Hearing a fain set of footsteps, she stopped in her singing but let her playing continue. Might as well give the intruder a show. You don`t come across to many people in the middle of a clearing at midnight. So you would think.

There was no need for the hunt tonight. Rosalie's discipline has strong, even now as her eyes dimmed to a darker shade of topaz. The source of her incredible speed tonight was not driven by thirst. She was only running to run. Of course there were more reasons than the thrill of the velocity that had compelled her to tear away from her home at a ripping speed, even leaving Emmett behind. Her first reaction was to compose herself, a notion she quickly rejected. If there was ever a time to let her thoughts run freely, it was now while she was away from her nosy, impossible, mind-reading brother.
While she was skilled in hiding thoughts, or distracting her thoughts away from certain things while around him, it was hard to control herself when Bella was the subject of conversation. The human girl Edward had foolishly fallen in love with and had involved in their lives was a sore spot for Rose, and the reason they had argued (again) that night. The reasons of disapproval she always voiced were usually related to the danger they were in by allowing a human know they even existed. But Edward always caught the unvoiced undercurrent of her repulsion to the girl. Because she was a girl. A girl that breathed and bled and cried. Something Rosalie had not done in almost 80 years. As always, Edward chivalrously defended himself and Bella against Rosalie and her tainted thoughts. After she'd told him to mind his own business and a few other colorful words, she'd torn out of the house with a glare to Emmett, daring him to follow her.
She'd been gone for a few hours and was starting to feel the void she sense in Emmett's absence. She turned to go back to face everyone, unashamed of her tantrum, and now tore through the outskirts of Forks at her fastest sprint among the dense forest that lined the highway, burning her ire. This... child was involving herself in a world that was not hers. Was her world not enough? How could it not be? She had family, friends and the potential for a full life. Though Rosalie could only be irritated with her, she knew that Bella was intelligent. She could really make something of herself in this life. But she's chosing theirs. It completely negated any degree of intellect the girl claimed to have. It was unnatural, wrong, insane, revolting...
Rosalie allowed her mind to unravel as she ran until she reflexively locked her legs in place, skidding a few feet on the forest floor as the friction finally brought her to a halt. She quickly scanned her surroundings, searching for the vampire that had passed though here. The trail she'd caught was merely hours old heading west... towards the school? She bolted forward after the trail, reaching into her pocket for her phone. An unladylike phrase escaped her perfect lips when she realized she'd left it behind. Stalking the scent for a couple of miles, she crouched lower in her sprint when it became stronger, indicative of the visitor's proximity. But she heard her before she saw her. The faint sound of a violin releasing woeful notes, and a small delicate voice as accompaniment. Slightly stunned at the odd scene, Rosalie could only stare at the girl, letting the lyrics of her newborn song strike her with each melodic tone. Rosalie was the best musician, next to Edward of course, but something about the tune in the midnight air was familiar and foreign at the same time. She took a few deliberate steps forward, knowing the vampire would hear her approach. She wasn't there to fight, but the presence of another one of their kind was always something they needed to be mindful of, regardless of musical talent.

Oh no, not that. Yes that, matter fact it was all that and a box of donuts. Footsteps her ass, she was hearing another such as herself a vampire near. She paused at the near off sound of a snapping twig she tensed slightly as she inhaled deeply. Drawing the bow across the taut strings, she peeled out one final note. Kill me romantically and stalk me endlessly she wrinkled her nose slightly not as much as most would. No she wasn`t a kill the intruders kinda girl, but something about this shadowed night reminded her of a time long ago. Oh yes! It reminded her of the night she first went hunting, she shook her ebony locks erasing the thought from mind. She tilted her head to the right as she plucked the strings with the cherry bow. Hearing the person near she smiled her pointed canines glinting in the moons rays. Watching for her new audience member to break out into the moons light she relaxed into the trunk of the willow she sat beneath, she placed the cherry violin in its case and set the bow on top. Folding her legs underneath herself, she stood up to her ridiculous height. Once her pose was straightened she retreived her violin and bow. Tucking her violin underneath her chin and struck a chord. The note this time was alot more fiery and had a catchy dance tune. Sawing her arm back and forth quickly, she closed her icy orbs for a second and relished the tune before slowing down to a soldiers march. Taking a step with the beat she was making, she stopped just as she was few feet from the blonde. Looking up she felt a sliver of light hit her face from the moon. Rolling her eyes, she said in her silky tones,
Im Jenna Louise , i hope you did enjoy my show if you could even call it that.
she was a divine violinist she had been told but for her she still needed work before she believed it herself. The radiant blonde that stood before her would be a fiesty fighter if it all came to that, Jenna hoped it wouldn't but she never knew. She had her guard up ready for an attack but would avoide it at all measures.

Expecting a more defensive response from the unknown vampire, a perfectly arched eyebrow raised in amusement when the girl instead stood up from her spot and change the tune to an up-tempo melody. Listening to the precise instrument under such capable hands, Rosalie couldn't help but listen intently to the intricate arrangement of this more jovial song. If Rose hadn't been in an offhand encounter with an unknown vampire in her family's territory, she may have even grinned in appreciation for the girl's musicianship.
When the girl opened her eyes, Rose immediately took in the golden tone within them, not unlike her own. Another vegetarian? Of course, she was partially relieved that she wouldn't be hunting a human to the best of her ability, but it was rare to cross paths with another vampire that resisted his or her nature like her family and the Denali's did. Suddenly, the girl started casually approaching Rose's cautious stance, never interrupting the song in her pace. Rose intincts compelled her to crouch and defend herself, but she remained motionless to appear innocuous. The last thing she wanted to attack, but would avoid giving her any warning if she had to.
The smallest taste of relief eased her when the girl came to a halt, rolling her eyes like her least favorite brother at the moment. Releasing a breath she'd been holding in when the girl finally spoke, she nodded her head in acknowledgment. "I'm Rosalie," she responded simply in her most friendly tone. Suspicion was inevitable in her mind, but Carlisle would be disappointed in her if she acted to rashly. "You have a beautiful instrument there," she said, glancing at the violin in the girl's hands, "and it's owner does it justice," she added sinceerely.

Do you believe in magic?? In a young souls heart?? As long as you believe we'll know where to start. Cinderella dressed in yellow went upstairs to kiss a fellow made a mistake and kissed a snake. how many doctors will it take?? hah!! you remember those silly jump rope ryhmes we used to sing. Look how far we've come we went from fighting over toys to fighting over boys. Not that far i guess if you think about it, i'd rather be fighting over toys than boys now... cause just like when their little boys seem to break anything you give them in kindergarten its your favorite dolly, and now its your freakin heart! Loves a kick and scratch your way to the top kinda affair don't you think. oh wait maybe you haven't been as lucky as me to have a boy play with your heart and make you love him only to let him stomp intyo the ground....oh!?!? you haven't well lucky me i guess. I hate when younger kids complain saying "i wish i was grown up" all i want to do is pick them up and shake them and scream "don't say that enjoy being a kid cause all that comes with getting older is bills and heartbreak." i mean if its not one thing its another you know what i mean?? So all the little people reading this think before you speak and savor those childhood moments cause you wont never get em' back.....
Why thank you Rosalie. Im not quit as good as i hope to someday be just yet.
Jenna let her fingers dance over the dazzling designs carved into the cherry wood instrument. Jenna felt a sense of calmness with this blonde lady in her presence, Jenna felt a sense of unwothiness to be standing near Rosalie let alone speaking with her. Looking down at her faded tattered jeans she now rethought putting them on this morning her shirt was a bloody scarlet with unreadable writing scrawling over it. But it was just a vintage shirt she had picked up somewhere, as she drifted into her own thoughts a idea poped into her mind. Extending the cherry instrument to Rosalie she smiled,
Would you like to play it?

Despite her current fury with Edward, Rosalie almost wished he'd been there. It was times like these, when one encountered an unknown variable, that his ability was only slightly less than obnoxious. All outward signs seemed harmless, though. The girl wasn't tense, her voice seemed calm and sincere and her approached, while startling at the time, had been only in propriety, knowing that they could both see and hear well enough at a distance. For now, Rosalie gave her the benefit of the doubt. Easing her posture only slightly, her golden eyes appraised the girl as she did every other being of her acquaintance. She was beautiful, like every other vampire. She was dressed more modern and fit to blend in with an urban crowd. And like every other vampire, her beauty would not compare to Rose's. A small grin played on her lips when she recognized the familiar look of awe everyone had when they first saw her, trying to decide how many angels it had taken to conceive such magnificence.
Her grin grew fonder when the girl offered her the wooden instrument and offered her words of modesty. "Your perception disallows you from recognizing your talent," she insisted. "While the violin is one of my favorites," she told her, gracefully declining the instrument, "I prefer the cello." Her family had learned and perfected their abilities in dozens of instruments, but she had to admit that Jenna had a true gift.
Carefully, Rose took a small step towards the girl and gestured gently with her hand. She was intrigued by the girl, but there was still an unaddressed topic that needed to be spoken. "I hope you don't take this the wrong way," she told her, trying to invoke Carlisle's calm and diplomacy, "but my family and I live around here, and we don't feed on humans. They don't know what we are." She paused only slightly before continuing. "It seems your diet is similar to ours," she added," but we still ask that you remain undiscovered if you plan to stay in the area."

Jenna smiled at Rosalie's decline and tucked the instrument safely beneath her arm. She knew from the look on Rosalies face that the subject of Jenna's fededing habits may come up soon. Jenna merely sighed one of the many habits she had picked up when interacting with humans, Walking slowly as she heard Rosalie begin to press on the feeding subject. She stopped suddenly and giggled,
Oh i know of your family now that you speak my peculiar feeding situation. Your a Cullen yes?
Jenna didn't want to freak out Rosalie by knowing about her family but she had merely heard of the Cullens when passing through Port Angeles and sensing them near. But she wouldn't press the subject and would gladly leave if they wished it.

Though it didn't make Rosalie feel better that the girl had heard of hr and her family, it didn't surprise her much. The Denali's and Cullen's usually exchanged visitors and nomads that came through the Olympic Peninsula usually did not forget such a large family and its unusual diet. At least this was a sign that Jenna was sociable, and did not shy away from others. She would be able to pass through or even live close by if she was this easily reasoned with. "Yes," she answered, pride shining in her tone, finally smiling. "We live just a few miles North from here."
Now that her mind had eased a little, she started reconstructing the last few minutes that had passed. It was peculiar that a vampire would just randomly play their instrument in the middle of a human town for no apparent reason. "Do you travel alone?"

Jenna smiled at Rosalie's pride when she asked if she was a Cullen. Jenna still clasped her violin beneath her arm in a protective way, the instrument was the only thing she had that meant anything to her. Shifting when Rosalie asked if she was alone, Jenna hated admitting that she was alone it just hurt worse when she said it aloud. Pushing it out of her mind she looked up and smiled sweetly,
Yes. I have been traveling alone for quite sometime now. i used to travel with another but we disagreed on diets.
She felt a twang of hurt as she spoke of Anya but it was better not to mention names it seemed. Thsi converstaion was sending her into a saddening mood and she felt the need to play a woeful tune to expresss her sorrow but with held the need. She was just happy to have Rosalie to talk to no matter how short a time it would last.

Nodding in acknowledgment, Rose felt a little better about the nomad. She sense a touch of sadness in the girl's response. She had recognized it in the song she had heard when she first encountered her, and in the lyrics she sang. She wondered what was its source and why the girl was here in general, but decided to remain tactful. Instead she smiled gracefully and offered her sympathy. "Traveling alone is unfortunate, but I commend you on your diet. My family does not know many others who restrain from human blood. It's always a pleasure."

As the encounter with Rosalie continued a sense of secrecy was creeping over Jenna she felt the need to tell Rose of the true reasons she was here. But feared the reasons would somewhat anger her, guilty is a thing Jenna felt now as she listened intently as Rosalie praised her choice of diets. Deciding to voice to Rose the real reason she had come to Forks she became uneasy and knew her actions would soon set off a trigger in Rose. Waiting patiently as Rosalie spoke she cleared her throat out of a human like habit before she began,
Rosalie i feel it necessary to speak truthfully to you as to my reasons for coming to Forks. I have come here in hope of speaking with your family....i wanted to speak with you all about a place you think would be of great sucess for me to possibly locate others such as myself that have noone. I know this is of an odd inquirey to ask of your family, but i guessed if anyone knew of such things it would be The Cullens.
Jenna watched for a change is Rosalie's expression as she pressed further into the subjext of her being here it was an odd reason at that. And even more difficult for for her to say aloud especially to Rosalie. She had heard stories of each of the Cullens but she found she related with Rose's the most and hoped this meeting would not turn badly. Because she hoped for their help, it may seem as if she was asking to stay with them but no she would never ask such things of them. She only asked tha they point her in the direction of a safe haven perhaps.

Rosalie grinned at the girl's human gesture. She was practiced in many human behaviors herself, but it was rare to see it coming from another vampire. It seemed like she spent a lot of time among them as well. Letting the girl speak, Rose felt better to get straight to the heart of the matter but she also felt sad for the fellow vampire. It seems as if she had been alone enough to just give in and ask for help. Rosalie had never been alone. Not even in her human life. She could not imagine ever being so. The conversation alone made her thoughts tainted her thoughts with slivers of guilt. She had a great family, though a strange one, and she let herself get upset and fight with them all the time while this girl had no one. The last remnants of anger she had towards Edward and the others slowly dimmed.
"Well," she said hesitantly, "I was actually on my way back home." She wasn't sure what if and how they would be able to help her, but the least she could invite her to the house. She remembered how they all felt when they found the Denalis. Finding someone with such an important piece of nature in common and truly been a comfort. If she could offer the girl anything, it would be that. Carlisle would be the best person to ask. "My father would love to meet you, and my family as well." Her thoughts momentarily paused on Bella, and wondered if Jenna would be around long enough to encounter her. Surely she would see that they were all breaking the one law they had as vampires by associating with a human. While the girl seemed nice enough, she wasn't sure if she was to be trusted yet. As much as she hated to admit it, it was probably better to have Edward listen in a bit.

Jenna watched Rose's hesitant face as she took in what she had just said. Jenna knew it would throw Rosalie back a few steps at her odd request, but it felt more relaxed for Jenna now that she had explained herself truthfully. A brisk wind whipped her wavy locks acorss her face, flipping the raven lock out of her eyes she quickly tied a lavender ribbon so to hold back some of her long hair hopefully. Smiling slightly as Rosalie's words registered to her, she was glad the moment of truth ahad gone well and Rosalie had asked her to come to the Cullen home with her. Nodding she smiledd a little more as she replied,
I would greatly appreciate that. But i must take my car i left it pulled off hidden in the wood a little ways back. But if you wish not to ride back with me i will just follow you.
she quickly rushed back and plucked her violin case from the ground and set the instrument into the safety of the case and locked it tightly. Moving back to stand in front of Rose once more awaiting what was to happen next.

Rose nodded and watched the girl retrieve her violin case. "That's fine we can go in your car, I'll show you the way," she told her. Again, Rose chastised herself for leaving her cellphone behind; she would not be able to give them a heads up that she wasn't returning alone. Hopefully Edward was around to catch her thoughts when they approached the house, or maybe Alice had already seen this conversation and had alerted the rest of the family.
She wasn't sure she really wanted to talk to Edward straight away, not entirely sure she had her temper in control, but both parties were always able to restrain their differences in certain situations. Rosalie now stood more at ease, her long golden locks flowing in the wind that had also caught Jenna's. She waited for her to show her the way to her car.

Jenna smiled and waved Rose to follow her farther into the dense woods. Picking up a swift quick pace she clutched the violin to her chest as she weaved her way inbetween the dense woods. Coming closer to where she had parked her car she sighed and began to slow, seeing the bumper of the powder blue Prius. Stepping out out into the sheltered cove her car was hidden in she pulled the key out of her jeans pocket, clicking the buton to unlock the car she popped the trunk and stowed the case beneath a duffle before she pulled a dark lavender and pink hoodie out of the bag. Looking back she wached for Rosalie as she sat in the drivers seat and started the car, turning on the radio she decided a lulling song to calm her jitters after the run. Looking at the still full coffee she had purchased at a coffee shop this morning she rolled the window down and poured out the still steaming beverage. The thought of meeting the Cullen family was making her jittery and quite nervous, Jenna was not sure why she was acting like a human she only guessed she had been interacting too often with humans. Looking back she could hear Rose nearing and she whispered,
I hope this goes well.
