Everything about this was all so new to Wyatt, he hadn’t quiet settled into it himself. Everything had happened so quickly, returning to the rez, making the change and then falling for Katherine; nothing was settled in. And now he had to meet the pack, his pack brothers, a bunch of guys some of whom he remember as kids when he was one of the bad boys on the rez and some of who he’d never given a second glance. Great.
Pulling on a shirt and jeans Wyatt pushed back his wavy hair and headed out of the door, it was a short walk to Sam’s house…too short when he still needed time to be ok with everything. He passed the camera on the hall table, but decided that today of all days was not a capturing the moment kind of outing. There was light drizzle but he didn’t care about that, his temperature was set at 108 since the change and he didn’t even feel the dampness when his head was freaking out about the pack. A pack was a gang regardless of what they stood for and Wyatt knew what gangs got him into in the passed, he didn’t want any part of that again.
Approaching the house he saw other guys still making their way into the rickety shack and jogged a little to catch up with them. Taking a deep breath he followed behind them nodding at Sam, “Hey.” he said briefly.

Leo was glad to be inside the house, past the crowded doorway where several of the guys still entering had stopped to linger (or perhaps they were chatting with Sam...was he supposed to say something more?). Once the entire group was inside he figured he could blend into the background a little bit easier, not knowing many of the guys well enough to feel like he could just hang with them.
Leo looked over at the table of food. It instantly made his stomach gurgle in a hunger that never seemed satiated. He looked around a bit, starved but not wanting to be the first guy to take something, deciding he'd wait for someone else to make the move first. Leo noticed another guy, with kind of shaggy hair, a little longer than most of the others make his way over to the table. He noticed Nawat didn't seem to be walking in with anyone either. One they made eye contact, Nawat was the first to speak in greeting. Leo gave a nod, heading over to the food and to say hi while they waited for the meeting to start.
"Hey" He said grabbing a few items, trying not to look like he was being rude and taking more than his fair share of the food. "It looks good." He said trying to do his best to be friendly and fit in. "I'm Leo"

Nawat picked up a few items, shoving a mini muffin into his mouth whole and thus ignoring centuries of tradition in food courses – dessert first when it was available. To be honest most of the time he filled himself with more natural produce – a ton of fresh veg and meat, grains, whatever he could get his hands on. Chewing down on the chocolate flavoured treat, his eyes met with the other lone looking kid, who responded to his own greeting.
“Nat,” he said after swallowing, rarely giving his full name in introductions like this – no one ever knew what to shorten his name to and yet there seemed to be an instinctive desire to do so. He grinned over at Leo, mouth pulling into an unpractised social smile. “Tastes good too.”
He stuck a cocktail sausage into his mouth and chewed it voraciously before rounding the table to allow the incoming wolves access to the food. He hoped that they wouldn’t all just crowd into the room and live in each others’ pockets. He knew he wouldn’t be able to bear that for more than a minute or so. His eyes flicked around to find the nearest window, always appeased by the sight of the open terrain. “So you been a wolf for long?” he asked, his skill in small talk about as honed as his skill in social smiling.

Opting to attend the "gathering" he was casually invited to by a few of the other pack members. His pack members, what a strange concept.. this Sam they spoke of, was another of the pack he had never met himself yet. His alpha as he was described. This whole brother hood boding thing was totally new to him.. He never really bonded with his own kid brother, how was he going to deal with some unknown number of pack-mates. Alex's anxiety was at a all time high at this moment, he did not like social gatherings with people he did not really know, even though he went to school with most of the guys he did not really talk to them then but now he had something in common. His aversion to such events was not effected by his transformation that occurred little over a year ago.
Driving his green Jeep up the driveway to the small shack he listened to the light swish of the wipers was the only sound in the car opposed to the female voice of his navigation system, according to his GPS he was at the right house. By the looks most of the teenagers and young adults that stood outside he was at the correct address.. Sighing out loud he took a drink of his Monster and put it back in the cup holder and opened the door, taking his keys and dropping them in his jean pocket. Dressed in his casual way, not really knowing if there was a dress code to a werewolf party.. ( he laughed inwardly ) Alex thought a black tank and acid washed jeans would be fine, although he kept extra clothes in his car in-case he phased.. That was something he was working on in a personal level. Although he was told it was out of his control it was in the nature of being a werewolf.
Walking up the pathway to the front steps he kept his eyes on the ground as much as passable. Ignoring the light drizzle that fell on his naked shoulders and neck. He was at the point of no return now, as he stood on the porch with a few other guys.. So he just leaned on the banister and sighed to himself.. Damn.. Left my Ipod in the car.. He thought bitterly as he glanced at the other guys.. Might as well take the dive.. He took a breath and drew a smile and spoke to the closest guy to him.. "Whats up?"

Paul nodded with a grin and pointed at his friend as if endowing him with some kind of power, though in reality he just agreed the continuation of his point. “That’s what I’m talking about, all that girl crap, it’s not what a guy needs, especially when we’re actually trying to work!” He knew that his friend tended to be a little softer about things than him, although the Rez and even the pack members that didn’t know him would tar him with the ruffian brush just as much if not more so than they would Paul. Still, a lot of it was just talk, the Clearwater kids personally bugged Paul down to the bones, but he only expected verbal support from his friend, not actual hatred.
“That’s right,” he responded as Connor asked whether they were getting a lecture beause of Jacob. Part of his lip lifted in a small sneer, which would have been a lot bigger if the Black boy was there, “Just because he decided to go run after the leech-lover and protect her instead of people that actually want protecting, Sam thinks that we’re all about to defect or something…” He ended his tirade with a derisive sound. However, the black look on his face began to lift as they approached Sam’s house and the scent of home cooking began to filter out to them.
“You can say that again,” he muttered, responding to Connor’s comment about the food. “He has her well trained … and here it is, party house. Thank god, I’m starving.” He stepped forward towards the doorway, giving a look to the guy that had just crossed the threshold ahead of him, immediately wary and distrustful of those he didn't know. It seemed to him like being a wolf was becoming more of a commonality than a rarity, he just hoped that one of these idiots didn't let the whole side down.

There were so many new faces Sam didn’t know, even if he was in Wolf form he doubted he’d recognize their minds. All the not knowing and strangers made him feel like a bad Alpha, maybe he should just give it all over to Jake. He was broken from his thoughts by Daylan Kele’s upbeat voice, the boy was never out of energy, “Hey Day.” he nodded glad to see the familiar faces among his unknown pack
Another new face, but this one was slightly familiar. “Wyatt?” Sam nodded to the guy almost his age. He was a face he hadn’t seen on the Rez in a few years, let alone knew he was a wolf.
As another unknown face approached Sam nodded to him, “Meetings inside. Grab some food and introduce yourself.” He said briefly looking up and spotting Paul, atleast some original members were showing up. “Paul, move it. I want to get started.” he said with his usual brash tone.

Jared rubbed his knotted shoulder as he walked rather slowly to the meeting Sam had called. He and some of the other firsts to turn seemed to be taking on a lot more since the pack seemed to be tripling in size. Not to mention Jake had broke off into his own lonely pack, and really the whole damn thing just irked him to think about. Instead he’d been focusing on Kim, his imprintee and the most recent transformations.
He tried to be there for them as Sam had once been for him… Now the new transformees didn’t seem like Sam’s first priority, and really, he couldn’t blame him. Being Alpha was stressful, especially when their neighbors seemed to be making the pack grow at an alarming rate. At this pace, half the Rez’s children were going to burst into fur in claws and more stories of “bear” sightings would appear.
He walked into the doorway glad Sam was the first person he saw. He took his friends large hand into his own in a sort of shake and smiled lightly. “I got you bro, whatever you need, alright?” he asked in a light tone so no one else could hear before moving forward into the living space, “Where’s Em?” he asked more to the room. Wolf pack meeting or not, Em was there, with food. He smiled at the thought and nodded to Paul. A familiar face made it a little less strange.
He took a seat looking more comfortable than the rest and smiled at some of the new faces he didn’t recognize and the new few that he did.
