[glow=green,2,300]Lynne[/glow]
Nickname: None
Age: 1,500+ year old; born c. 495 - 500 AD, turned 518 AD (she's not sure how old she was when she was turned; she was probably between the ages of 18 and 23)
Lynne, c. 518 AD, just after she was turned
Appearance
Looks: Tall, thin, with plump lips, full eyebrows, almost perfect bone structure in her face, brown hair, crimson eyes and pale skin that shines like a million diamonds set in marble in the sunlight.
Scars, tattoos, other marks: A few minor scars here and there, expertly hidden from view, due in part to random skirmishes with other (younger) vampires she has come across over the last millenia and a half.
Portrayed by: Keira Knightley
Practicing the art of archery, c. 770 AD
Personality and Stats
Basic Personality: Lynne is the picture of poise and restraint, with more than a thousand years of practice with patience. She has seen and done just about everything in this world there is to try and nothing impresses her anymore. She has seen more wars than a mere human has seen rainstorms in their life. While she may come off as very cold, calculated and closed off, even from her fellow vampire, she has had her share of great loves in her life. One such love was so deep that when he met his end so long ago, she swore off any deep attachments from then on out, to protect her unbeating heart. She also no longer enjoys the hunt, as it has become old hat to her and only does so to sustain herself. Sometimes she contemplates the hereafter and what it would be like and if maybe she could just be done with this world and move on for something new. She is really just looking for something in this world to live for.

History: Lynne does not remember anything from her human life except that she had to be between the ages 18 to 23 because she knows she had been married, though childless, to a man for a few years at the time she was turned. She does not remember who turned her as she came to as a vampire alone at night along the banks of the Thames River. From then on, her memory would be crystal clear, something that had happened several centuries ago as crisp and vivid in her mind as if it had happened two days ago. And because of that, she knows the year she was turned was 518 AD.
She understood the basics of what she was from the very start; she thirsted for blood, human blood, and the thirst would not go away and would only get worse until it was properly quenched. A few unfortunate villagers fishing along an otherwise empty shoreline of the Thames were her first victims. They had seen her at daybreak, the sunlight dancing off her skin and reflecting like thousands of stars sparkling at night and were entranced at first, thinking her some sort of goddess and then at the sight of her red eyes, a demon or witch, and cried out as such. But she muted those cries in the blink of an eye as she ripped them to shreds in a matter of moments. But she knew then that she should stay out of sight when the sun shined. She did not want to draw unwanted attention to herself.
In Eastern Europe, c. 1020 AD
A few centuries later, around 1020 AD, she met a vampire named Orion, who claimed he was the the originator of the mythlogocial Greek huntsman of the same name. Whether he was or not, didn't matter to Lynne. She was in love with him almost immediately. They walked the earth together for several centuries, hunting side by side and loving each other, until he accidentally exposed himself as a vampire during the day to a few townspeople in a village outside Florence, Italy in 1535, which ruffled the Volturi's feathers. They acted swiftly and without second thought as they ended Orion that same day, but not before doing away with the human witnesses.
Without Orion, off to wander the world alone, once more, c. 1535
Lynne's unbeating heart broke that same instant, and she despised the Volturi from then on, promising herself two things: 1) that she would never have anything to do with the Volturi as long as she lived, and 2) she would do all she could to deny herself any companionship to spare her heart the pain of breaking again should she lost that companionship again.
c. 1783, at one of the estates temporarily taken over by fellow vampire Catherine
She roams the globe, keeping to overcast and colder regions, desolate or forrested areas like Northern Europe, Siberia, Northern Canada, and the Northeast and Northwest regions.
c. 1818
Growing incredibly bored with this world and life, c. 1945
Lynne, present day...
