It was nighttime in the city of Seattle. A newborn vampire was running through the forest, going anywhere. Her name was Sarah Crimson. She had run all the way from northern Canada, seeking answers. Sarah was so confused, but amazed at the exact same time. She could run amazingly fast, lift rocks, and jump to the top of trees.
Ha, I can do anything! Woah! Sarah thought as she flew through the air on to the top of a building. And I stick the landing! Just then Sarah felt one of the worst pains ever (it fell second to turning) scorching her throat. She was so furious at the pain. Despite the strength and speed that she had come into, she felt helpless and desperate. Sarah's instincts let loose as her eyes locked on a drunk staggering around the street. She lunged from the rooftop and tackled the guy. In the tiniest amount of time (at least it felt like that to Sarah) the body was useless. A small snarl escaped Sarah's blood covered lips.
What do I do? Aah! Sarah struggled with what to do until a car was headed down the street. Sarah ran straight toward the car, with her shoulders braced for the impact.
Wow, it didn't even hurt! Sarah thought, as she wasted a quarter second. She dove into the car wreck and grabbed both of the bodies. They still had some blood in them, so she drank the rest. Sarah was very determined to make it look like an accident. She put the bodies back in the car, then moved the car to the corner of a building. Sarah placed the drunk near the 'crime scene' so it looked like the car ran into him. All Sarah had to do was bend the car so it looked as if it collided into the corner of the wall. Perfect, Sarah thought as she checked her pockets.
"Damn," Sarah said, and she was absolutely shocked. Sarah quickly realized that she never spoke aloud since the change. "Oh, my, god..." Her voice was super beautiful and ringy, like a bell or chimes. What am I really? Oh god. Sarah remembered reading Bram Stoker's Dracula. He had super strength too. Everyone knew about vampires. Pale, strong, beautiful. Sarah knew the description all too well. She went into the nearest corner store and, despite her amazing eyesight, didn't notice the sign. It was hard for her to walk at a human pace, she was so exited to know what she really was.
Sarah kept her head down as she was walking. She opened the bathroom door fast, and quickly looked in the mirror. "Aah!" Sarah was startled at the foreign reflection. She was beautiful, like a model, except she wasn't skin and bone. "What the-" Sarah was about to comment on her eyes when she heard a knock at the door. Luckily, Sarah had locked the door.
She opened the door and rushed out, vampire speed. Sarah ran to a deserted street, and the surrounding buildings were likewise. Sarah spotted a movement in the shadows across the street. Her instincts told her it was another vampire; Sarah hissed as she rolled into a crouch, tensed to run or possibly even attack.
