The one second it took Carlisle to organize his thoughts felt like hours. Surely they had to be both cautious yet amicable for as long as the situation called for it. When he finally spoke, he managed to sound more prepared and thoughtful than she had imagined. Hearing their the thoughts that they had already arranged spoken by him with the same caution but with more calm and confidence was always comforting to them. It was why they loved him as a father and leader.
"Of course, Carlisle," she answered, her voice now more confident. "There's no need to apologize, this involves us all." It was so like Carlisle to apologize for any discomfort they might face, as if it were his fault. "Just keep your phone on you. We'll keep an eye on her from now on."
While she spoke to Carlisle, she had stopped walking and kept Edward within her field of view, though it was not necessary for him to hear her thoughts as she recited her conversation with Carlisle in them.

Carlisle smiled into the phone receiver, happy to hear his daughter refer to them as a unit. He was always delighted to be reminded of how close his family were to each other, against the odds - he sometimes, rather dangerously, thought of them as almost invincible when they all worked together so well.
"I'll do what I can, Rose," he told her.
Sometimes being a Doctor interfered with his ability to keep in touch with his family in times of need - not even a vampire as charming and with the reputation that he had could break the rules to a great extent. He couldn't carry his mobile phone around the sensitive equipment in the hospital in plain sight, but he had become a master of discretion, and what the human rule-makers didn't know couldn't hurt them.
His eyes flicked to the side as a sudden whiff of fresh blood assaulted his nostrils.
"I have to go," he said, quicker than the paramedics could take a step. "Be safe, Rose. Tell everyone."
He hung up the phone quickly and stuff it into his inside pocket with the ringer and vibrate function off. Just now he had a job to do, but he would do all he could for this situation as soon as he had a moment free.

Edward had listened to Rosalie's conversation with Carlisle. Their father had stayed calm, which helped Edward not to panic. They'd do the best they could to keep an eye on the situation here. But at least now Carlisle was appraised of the situation, and Edward knew the rest of their siblings would find out soon enough (word always spread quickly).
Edward waited for Rosalie to hang up the phone before turning back towards her. "I think we'll be alright today, Alice hasn't seen anything happening at school" He said trying to reassure her. "With any luck, at least one of us will have a few classes with her"

Rose let both Edward and Carlisle's words offer comfort and confidence. They were right. It was a moment to be calm and to approach the situation with calm and logic at hand. Just because they were rarely presented with someone or thing that might expose their lives didn't mean they were incapable of setting it right. It had been years since anyone had been close to figuring out who they really were. Rose attributed her nerves to the fact that this new person was a vampire herself. "Right," she agreed quickly.
Her first class was with Jasper and Emmett, she would tell them once she saw them. Edward and Alice communicated very efficiently themselves and she would know promptly as well. "Keep your phone on," she reminded, though the mental glance at the silver device in her hands would have sufficed. She composed herself once more and walked towards her first class.

Edward nodded as Rosalie told him to keep his phone on. He reached down into his pocket and took it out, checking to make sure it was on. He put it on vibrate so that if any of his siblings did need to call him, he'd feel it before it alerted any of his teachers. He shoved the phone back into his pocket. "I'll keep it on, and I'll keep an eye out for things" He said, letting her know that he'd be working extra hard to watch for the thoughts of this vampire, and those of anyone she came in contact with.
"We'll talk more at lunch" He said, knowing that by then their entire family would know what was going on. Hopefully they would make it to lunch without any incidents. He then headed off for his first class of the day.
