I was wondering if it would be okay to link the site on other sites? I would like to link it to a couple different places (my Smallcritters.com page, Myspace, Open Diary).
And is there a banner we can use to hyperlink??

You're more than welcome to link us anywhere you can! If its another proboards site, you can find our ad here: twilightmoviebook.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=links&action=display&thread=12otherwise to just add the link or banner, this is the code I use on the site for a banner w/link...but I'm not sure if it works on places like myspace, etc. [url=http://twilightmoviebook.proboards.com][IMG]http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i180/jmkgeb/Twilight/Twilight-3.jpg[/IMG][/url]
I can also resize this depending on how big you want it for where you're putting it, just let me know. Hopefully the codes would work, if not let me know that too and we can try to figure something out. Thanks in advance for any linking you (or anyone else) does to this site!

Thanks. I need HTML codes for most, but I can do that.

Just in addition to that - what is your opinion on Topsite sites? There are quite a few Twilight based ones out there and RPG based ones, but they would need a wee clicky button and reciprocal link to operate.

I've never been to topsites, but if anyone knows a place to advertise there too, that would be great. I know how to resize the banner to make it button size, but does anyone know if the codes used to attach the site's url to it is different than when putting it on a proboards post?

twilighttopsites.com/index.php?a=join is the first hit if you search for 'twilight topsites' on Google, so that would probably be a good one to go for. (That's obviously the join page) Not sure if you would want to fill it in yourself as it would hold account information and hit/traffic information on the site. If you don't have time and aren't bothered about that, though, I could do it. Oh and the banner/button's maximum size for that particular site is 88x31ppi.

OH! actually now that I see it I have been there before. I"m waiting for them to "approve" the site so I can be added. I didnt realize it was called topsites before lol. Thanks for being on the lookout for these things though, let me know if you find any others like this!

It may be HTML rather than BB code, but they usually just have forms to fill in that do it for you. Oops, replied at the same time as you - yeah there are tons of topsite sites, it's just a method of ranking per click in and click out really. They worked wonders for my HP RPG

Do you possibly have a link to a smaller button? Just because a few of the sites I've come across to advertise on have been asking for buttons rather than banners.

That'll be great - it can always be changed if you get around to doing another one that you prefer Hmmm... this seems to have fallen into me just telling you about various things that exist, but not doing anything, but yes... I've found a number of RPG Collection sites, which are just advertising forums, but they do require the advertising site to display a button somewhere on their front page - would you be interested in that as well? If you are I could write out the advert and host the button for you to display, but thought I would pass it by you first as it would change the fabric of the existing site.

I have seen a few of those sites myself...my only problem is i'm not sure exactly how to add those buttons to the front page of the site here...I have just about figured out the webring so maybe I can test it out to see if itsthe same code.

Just set up a proboard so I could have a look - If it was me, I think I would code them into the main header/footer (whichever you prefer), so that it would be on the front page, but not the board pages. If you wanted the buttons to be on all pages you would code them into the global header/footer.

Just tested that out to see how it would work! Yeah the main footer looks good I think for those, dont want to take up space on all the pages. I'd definitely be interested in trying out some of those too, anything to spread the word!

Coolio - I'll get on it I've filled in a form for a canon rpg directory site, which requires this to be added: <a href="http://df.artisticchardon.com"><img border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v339/artisticchardon/df/df3o.png"></a> Before I'm allowed to submit the form. So once that's on the site I can submit the form - it's already filled out, just need to press the button.
