{Begining of Eclipse, Leo and Issy's first meeting.} Isabelle stared at the large building, she groaned and adjusted the strap to her book bag, pulling it high onto her shoulder. With a heavy sigh she finally moved forward up the schools old cement steps and in through the double doors. The halls were packed full of students most of which had dark hair and copper complexions. It was like the twilight zone. Isabelle looked both ways before crossing into another hall way, with a swift left.
The main office was situated right at that left and Isabelle pulled open the door to let herself inside. It smelt of cinnamon and apples, Issy glanced around the room searching for the sweet scents origin. The woman behind the desk placed a can of the misting spray under her desk and looked up. Isabelle smiled in return and waved reluctantly, a small shy, smile creeping up to cover her awkward feeling.
“Leo,” she heard the blonde call, “This is the girl.” The woman smiled at Issy in return, but it was a fake smile, all teeth and no emotion. Isabelle looked to the ground. She let out a sigh of relief that the name the lady called out for was one she’d never heard of before. If it was Embry she probably would have ran home in tears. It had been moths since their break up, but the simple thought of him was like pouring salt in the wound. Isabelle crossed her arms in front of her chest, a defensive position. But on her, it just looked like she was trying to hide herself behind her arms. Not a very good cover.

Leo knew that it couldn't be good when he was called down to the office before classes even started that day. He couldn't think of any reason that they'd need to call him down. He wasn't even late. But when he arrived he found out that they wanted him to show around a new girl. He wasn't exactly sure why they wanted him, someone who had only attended the LaPush school for a few months last year, but maybe that was their reasoning.
He waited in the corner of the office, slouched in a chair. He had his eyes closed, still tired as it was early in the morning. At least it was his senior year. The year which was supposed to be relaxing for him. He knew he'd be able to relax a lot more if he didn't have the huge secret of his freakish animal nature to contend with as well. He tried to brush that out of his mind and rest his eyes until the new girl came. He wasn't exacty sure what he'd be able to help her with, but he'd do what he could. It would give him an excuse to be late to class.
He heard the secretary call his name a few minutes later and opened his eyes getting up to go meet the new girl. He gave a nod to the secretary letting her know he understood and would take care of it. "Hi, I...." He said as he turned to see the girl in front of him. He was immediately speechless, he couldn't believe his eyes. The girl before him was stunning, gorgeous really. Even more than that he just felt completely drawn to her in every way.
"Wow...." He said, normally knowing he would have been embarrassed by revealing his stunned thoughts, but too caught up by the woman before him. He stared intensely into her eyes feeling an instant connection to her. Was this what love at first sight was like? When he looked at her right now, even not knowing even her name, he felt so strongly about her, that he could easily believe that this was love. His heart felt as if it had already belonged to her, and just suddenly got a jolt of renewal upon finally seeing its true owner. Had he known anything about imprinting at this point in his life, he would have known instantly that he had imprinted upon her and found his soul mate.

Isabelle took a deep breath before letting her eyes leave the comfortable spot they always seemed to search for, the floor. She looked up to see the owner of the soothing voice, but the voice was cut short. Was It possible the guy they had sent to show her around was just as shy as she was? It that was true, she couldn’t see much getting done. She brushed her thoughts away and held out a hand, “I’m Isabelle, nice to meet you.” She finally looked to his face rather than his shoulder where she had set her eyes so as not to get embarrassed.
Her head tilted to the side slightly, “Do I know you?” she asked in a small voice. He was extremely attractive, Isabelle’s eyes concentrated on his forehead. After all eye contact made her nervous, especially with guys that looked like models. ‘Figures,’ she thought to herself, ‘they couldn’t just send me the tech nerd like they do in the movies.’ Her gentle smile faded as he said a single word. ‘Wow.’ Isabelle felt immediately self conscious, and dropped her hand.
What did she do that made him say that? Could he tell already that she was a dork, a klutz? Isabelle wrapped her hands around her waist, as if she were holding herself for support. She wanted to hide under a rock, she forced herself to look up this time into his eyes. Her expression softened from the delicate pout to a curious expression. She smiled and looked away. Yup, he was model material, and he wasn’t looking at her with a ‘why am I here’ expression, her confidence gained a level.

Isabelle. Leo heard her name before he could stop from staring at her long enough to say anything. He was mesmerized by her. Even hearing her name made his heart skip a beat. It was beautiful, and her voice was so alluring to him. She was the perfect woman. Right here, only a few feet away from him. He noticed she didn't even make eye contact with him. He didnt mind, he didnt even feel worthy of her gaze right now. He heard her ask if she knew him but he was still having trouble forming any sort of comprehensible sentence. He knew he had to snap himself out of this. The woman he was meant to be with was right in front of his eyes.
"You're stunning" Leo finally managed to say, to break his silence that had gone on for way too long. He hadn't meant it to be the first thing he said to her as a proper introduction would have been far more polite. But he had no intentions of doing anything to take it back, the statement was more true than anything else he ever knew.
"I'm Leo Stone" He introduced himself. "I wish I could say I've had the pleasure of meeting you before, but thankfully I have now"

Issy smiled, she couldn’t help but notice she was strangely comfortable around him. That feeling had taken awhile to reach with Embry, or anyone else for that matter. She forced his name down, he broke her heart, there was no need for her to feel bad. She bit her lip and smiled up at him, wondering why he had not introduced himself yet. But the thought that he could be shy diminished with the words that came out of his perfect mouth.
The girl raised one eyebrow at him in question. What was he playing at? Yeah, he was incredibly handsome, but that didn’t mean she was going to just give her heart over wrapped in a bow. She had learned better. It took a while for her to open up to Embry, and after things seemed perfect, he left. Isabelle looked to the floor again. Had Embry told the school she was putty? Were they warned of her vulnerability? The questions were oddly pushed away rather easily.
At the introduction to his name she forced herself to look up again. This time a smile didn’t appear there. She simply looked curious. Isabelle turned around to see who he was talking to, but as there was no one there she continued the slow spin until she faced him again. Issy wasn’t graced with the filter ability most had to hide their emotions. She didn’t even wear them on her sleeve, she wore it on her face. She suddenly realized the confused expression was still lingering there. Without a word she headed to the office door, stopped abruptly and turned to make sure he was following. After all, he was suppose to show her around.

Leo felt almost lost as he stared at her. It was as if nothing else mattered around him. He could be floating into a black hole and as long as he had her in front of him, he would be where he was supposed to be. The vision of beauty in front of him gave him a smile which made his go even wider. She looked as though she didnt even believe his compliment. He couldn't understand why, surely she was told of all of her amazing qualities a thousand times a day. She was probably also very much taken, but Leo wasn't sure he would even let that stop him from trying to woo her.
He saw her seem almost confused by his introduction and began to doubt what he was doing. He was usually fairly confident in the way he acted and spoke yet she made him doubt himself, wanting to bring that smile back to her face. She didnt say anything further to him but instead turned as if she was going to leave. He watched her a moment, wondering what he had done and where she was headed. As she turned however he quickly moved up to follow her out the office door. Truth be told, Leo would follow this woman to the ends of the earth.

Isabelle bit her bottom lip and looked up at him, she slowed her pace as she realized she had been speed walking. After all she didn’t want to run from him, oddly enough she wanted to stay close to him and that feeling irked her. First the other guy, and now the feeling of needing to be by this one’s side. Though the feeling was so much more intense this time around. She had to wonder if something was wrong with her. Maybe she was a closet masochist, maybe she caused herself pain on purpose.
“Why do you look at me like that?” she asked softly. But the question almost seemed hypocritical, because the look in her eyes was slowly dissolving into one almost the same. “I’m sorry,” she said as she realized she was starring. ‘I’m an idiot, wake up,’ she thought to herself. Rather discreetly she pinched her arm. “Ow!” she exclaimed under her breath. She hoped he hadn’t heard.

Leo tried to match his pace with hers, hoping that he wasn't crowding her. Was she trying to get away from him? Maybe he had scared her off already. He had to find a way around that. He could see now that she seemed a bit shy, so maybe he couldn't be so forward with her without it bothering her.
He looked down as she asked about why he was looking at her that way. It was obviously making her uncomfortable. "I'm sorry, I didnt mean to stare like" He apologized to her, finding himself looking back up at her again. "You really are beautiful, there's something very special about you" He told her, wanting to answer her question but not scare her off.
He heard her ow and immediately felt scared that she had gotten hurt, looked around wondering what had happened. "Are you okay?" He asked her worried.

It wasn’t a dream. She was real, which meant he had to be too. But it made no sense. Then again she always heard ‘one mans trash is another mans treasure.’ The problem with that though is she knew she didn’t deserve to be considered anyone’s trash. If life had taught her anything it was that. She picked up the pieces of herself, the same ones that had been scattered for months, now they seemed to mend themselves. Like the seams were joining together, she was yet to comprehend why.
“It’s okay,” Isabelle smiled bashfully, “just not use to being, um you know, looked at in that way.” she admitted and tried hard not to look away. She didn’t have to escape, there was nothing to run from, he didn’t seem to want to cause any harm. “About me?” she asked meekly, he had to have the wrong girl. She laughed. “Well I’m special but more like Special Olympics category.” she laughed lightly hoping he’d get the joke. Him seeing her as some gorgeous special girl, was just …odd.
“Oh yeah, I’m fine. “ The blush rushed to her cheeks. He had really good hearing. She was going to have to remember that.

"I find that hard to believe" Leo told her, not knowing how any guy could see her and not look at her the way that Leo had. He then realized that it could have sounded like he was calling her a liar. "Not to say you're lying or anything, just surprised you're not used to it by now."
He then laughed and shook his head as she tried to tell him she was more special olympics than special. "That is not at all what I meant." he said, leaving it there before he embarrassed himself further by explaining how special he thought she was. He didnt want to push her to make sure she was alright when she told him she was, so he left that subject alone.
"So I'm supposed to show you around I guess..."

Isabelle looked at him more inquiringly. She bit her bottom lip and jammed her hands quickly into her gray hoodie’s pockets so as not to fidget. It was a bad habit. She smiled, the hint of pink just beyond the tan tint. “Thanks.” she said with a smile. Every time he spoke she felt the bashful habits dissolve a little more into comfort. It was a weird sensation. And, she couldn’t help but wonder if he felt a little weird too.
She smiled up at him, he was much taller than her. It made her feel like a child by his side. She nodded. He was suppose to show her around, and at the moment she had no idea where she was. Isabelle reached around and slid her backpack under one arm. She yanked out a folded piece of paper and moved closer to show it to him. “Maybe this will help? Where is,” she paused and stared at the page. She looked up at him, “Where’s all that stuff?” She suddenly realized how close she had gotten to him and backed off slowly. He smelled nice, she looked at his shoes, after all the floor was beging to be a boring thing to stare at.

Leo's heart melted completely as he saw her smile. It was like finding something essential to your life, even if you never knew it was missing before. Seeing her smile and happy was what was missing for him. He knew it was crazy to be so head over heels for this girl so soon, but he couldn't deny his feelings. He could only hope that he could manage to get her to at least give him the time of day.
"You're welcome" He told her, smiling back at her. His heart then started racing as she moved closer to him to show her the schedule of where she had to be. He wanted to keep her this close or closer forever. He had to fight back the urge to put his arms around her right now and kiss her, but seeing the shyness she was showing now, he knew that would be too much for her so soon.
"Yeah, no problem, I can show you those..." He finally managed to speak again, wishing she hadnt moved away. "We have a lot of the same classes"

Isabelle smiled in relief; he still hadn’t looked at her as though she was anything less than beautiful. She could see the sincerity in his brown eyes. They say the eyes are the window to the soul, and she felt she wouldn’t have to look much further to understand his deepest wants. It was an odd thought and she forced it down. She didn’t want to think so much, she wished that for a moment she could just say and do the things she wanted to without worry. Without wondering how it would be taken.
She nodded, and looked up from his shoes. She was going to rebel from the constant pink that always invaded her cheeks. He made her feel as though she didn’t have to worry, she didn’t have to be someone else or make feeble attempts at sounding like someone other than herself. “We do?” she asked with a grin. ‘Score!’ she thought to herself. He was stuck with her even if she made a fool of herself. Isabelle made an attempt at conversation, “So um, do you have any hobbies?” she asked. She was trying to wipe away all signs of her bashful nature, but her voice still sounded meek.

Leo knew he had to stop staring at the girl before he completely crossed any lines of socially accepted behavior (assuming he hadn't already). He briefly looked back down at her schedule again, using that as his break from staring at her, but feeling the urge to the entire time. It was very difficult for him to keep his eyes off of her. His face lit up as he heard her, question about having a lot of the same classes and he saw the grin. Maybe she was just as excited about that fact as he was. Or at least in his delusional mind she was. "Yeah, there's only a few that are different...we even have the same lunch" He said, beaming at the revelation.
"Hobbies? Uh, yeah" He said surprised by her question. He hadn't expected her to want to know anything about him. "I study Jujitsu, and I like to sketch different things" He said, thinking that his hobbies sounded lame. She'd either see him as a macho jerk who fought a lot, or an emo boy who sat in dark corners drawing. He mentally scolded himself for not being cooler to impress this girl.

Isabelle smiled and leaned in closer to see, as if the paper with its written classes and respective numbers would make any sense to her. She wouldn’t be able to find room 204B unless she had a map, and apparently LaPush High wasn’t ‘large enough to need one.’ She seen the word lunch by the numbers 12:45, so she had until that time to feel at ease. At least you could sit at the back of a class and mix right in, but there were no assigned seats in cafeterias she could only hope there were spare corners. Than again, maybe she would get lucky, maybe her guardian angel would stop poking fun at her and keep her from making a fool of herself long enough for this kid to want to sit by her.
Her mouth dropped a little at the word jujitsu, after all when you practice martial arts you learn to respect them all. She closed her mouth, and her teeth clicked against each other, she hoped he hadn’t noticed. “I couldn’t draw to save my life, but I do Kung fu.” She smiled up at him, feeling fully comfortable for once. Not many enjoyed the arts, and apparently he took part in more than one, as did she. “What do you like to sketch,” she asked more easily now. She was slightly surprised of how easy he was to talk to.
