Edward gave a charming smile to Ms. Cope as he approached her at the desk in the office. "Just the woman I wanted to see" He said, focusing on softening his eyes a bit in a way that seemed to appear less intimidating to the humans. He needed this woman to want to do him a favor. Women were usually easier for Edward to charm. He hoped he could work his skills now.
"I have a request that only you can help me with" Edward said, knowing that building an ego went a long way in helping any cause. "Biology, its..." He said trying to find a good reasoning to argue for his request. "I need to find a different science...I was hoping to move from my biology class to a different senior level science...maybe physics...I've already studied this material"
Edward heard the sounds of the door opening and closing behind him. He thought nothing of it. There were many students who frequented the office. This was his focus now. He listened to Ms. Cope explaining that it wouldnt be possible for him to switch."Maybe I could drop the class then" He said more urgently.
With the closing of the door a gust of wind blew up towards Edward. The scent hit him like a ton of bricks. Bella Swan. That girl was everywhere! There seemed to be no escaping her! The familiar thirst was immediate, as the venom scorched his throat. There were less people in the administrative office than there were in the classroom. The fatalities would be less if he attacked now. Though he didn't need to look to confirm that it had been Bella who walked in, he did anways, giving her the same intensely ferocious glare as he had in biology before turning back to the secretary, cutting off his air supply.

Bella frowned as she realised just what Edward was in the office for. Was he seriously trying to switch out of biology because of her; just because she had to sit next to him? She couldn’t believe that he would be that petty; she also couldn’t fathom how she had affected him so to make him want to switch. It was ridiculous! The outrage that ran through her mind served to loosen her muscles slightly, though she did not move from her position by the wall. It also, unfortunately, sent the blood running to her face, which she could feel. In order to save her embarrassment if he turned around, she tossed her head forward a little and allowed her long curtains of dark hair to fall over her face, hoping that it would hide her reaction to him. Stupid blush.
However, as Edward did turn around to her, the intense glare that he sent in her direction spiked up the fear reaction once more, freezing her to the wall again. She was stuck with her lips ever so slightly parted, shocked at the venomous expression on his face. She thought she had remembered it vividly from biology, but it seemed that Edward was more vibrant in life than anyone else she knew. She gasped at him, staying still, intrigued enough by him to stay, but certainly not daring enough to confront him.

The smell of Bella's blood seemed to have filled the small office in almost an instant. The dry burning sensation of the thirst not even as bad as the mental yearning for the taste of that specific smell. It was intoxicating. He knew he would never taste another blood so sweet, and here it was, following him around, just waiting to be tasted.
Edward stopped breathing. Trying to will out any remnants of air from his nasal canal without allowing any further scent in. He pictured Carlisle. Trying to focus on his father, knowing how disappointed he would be if his son were to lapse today. How long would it take him to earn back his trust, if ever? Would he ever be able to live like his siblings again? Maybe his father would see him as too much of a danger to the family. But most of all, picturing Carlisle gave him strength. The man faced the smell of flowing blood every day and resisted temptation. If it was possible to be something other than a monster, Carlisle had done it. Edward aspired to be like him.
Edward turned back to face Ms. Cope once more, his eyes no longer soft but retaining the harshness that he showed Bella. He could see her jump back a little, surprised at the look that was on his face. He knew he had to speak once more to her before leaving which would require just a bit more air, and would also require every ounce of control that the years of self-denial had taught him. As he inhaled he spoke quickly letting the words and the air back out.
"Nevermind then, I can see its impossible" Edward told her, before quickly turning seeing that he would have to pass within inches of the girl in order to leave. He kept his head turned away from her as he moved as fast as he thought would be believable as human from the room, not stopping until he reached his car.

((OOC: Thought I'd just post this to finish it off. Feel free to archive once you've seen it. I'll start the next biology when I'm not so behind on posting, but feel free to start it if you're free before me!))
It took Bella a good few moments to unfreeze her muscles, consciously loosening each one from its taut position. She could feel her pulse point in several areas, thumping her blood around her body with a deafening ferocity. She could barely form a thought as he walked within inches of her, but the glimmer of the thought in her mind was: He’s beautiful in anger.
She knew it was an utterly absurd thought to have in the situation, but the root of it was there already. And he was, he was undeniably perfect, despite his vicious eyes. She spent a few moments getting her breathing back to normal before walking up to the desk, somewhat stiffly. She looked at the pale receptionist and swallowed, attempting to get her voice back into control, grateful that Mrs. Cope seemed to be in a similar state to herself. She placed her signed sheets on to the desk and smiled the best she could at the receptionist.
Only a few moments later her registration into Forks High was formally complete and she was stuck here. And with a curious and sadistically glad feeling, she knew that Edward Cullen was stuck with her too.
