Please Read Carefully and Follow!
1. Whether requesting a canon character (from the movie/book) or creating your own character, a bio must be submitted for that character. Please follow the format provided for the profile. Post the profile in the correct board (Characters board if it’s a character from the show, Made up Characters board if it’s a character you created) and use the character name as the thread title.
2. All bios require approval from a staff member before you start posting.
5. If you are playing a canon character and do not post for more than 2 weeks and have not spoken to a staff member or posted anything in the "away board" your character may be reassigned to another member at the discretion of the staff here. If a noncanon is not posted within 1 month, the bio will be archived and faceclaim may be reassigned. If you know you will be unable to post, please speak to someone so that we know you are still around and not just abandoning the board!
6. If you are creating a character and want your character to have a past involving that character - you MUST contact that person before writing your bio and get approval from the other character's player. You also must get approval to list another character (canon or noncanon) as a friend (canons do not need this permission for other canons as relationships have been established in the book - ex. Jessica can list Lauren as a friend without needing to ask). No Non-Canons may be related to Canons.
7. You are allowed to be multiple characters, either canon, made up, or both. Please keep in mind however the amount of time needed to keep up with posting for more than one character and do not request more than you can handle. You must create seperate accounts for each character. This causes less confusion when posting. There is no limit to the number of characters you can request but please do not take on more than you can handle posting for. The only limit is if you are requesting to be a Cullen, you may only be one member of the family (the same member can not play Jasper, Esme, and Rosalie), and the same goes for the Quileutes, you may only be one canon from that tribe.
8. While we allow creativity as to what happens in the threads, you must stay in character. This is especially important to canons and their relationships with other canons and noncanons as well. For example, while Bella cares for Jacob, she cannot decide to leave Edward for him and have his child instead (since this goes against the book). Also Edward will not fall madly in love with a noncanon character just because she has similarities to Bella and Rosalie will not decide to turn Bella into a vampire. Relationships established in the book should be left how they were meant to be. This does not mean canons cannot develop friendships with noncanons, and that even characters in love cannot have fights. As far as romantic relationships go, there will be no Human/Vampire or Vampire/Werewolf relationships on this board. Bella and Edward was a unique exception.
9. Every citizen of Forks or student does not know that the Cullens are vampires, that vampires exist, or that werewolves exist. They've done a good job of hiding their secret. Were a human to learn about vampires, they would be hunted and killed by the Volturi. Do not expect your human character to learn about other species. Also there are very few vampires that live the way the Cullens do with the vegetarian lifestyle. If you are creating noncanons please keep these things in mind. NonCanons also cannot be changed by a Cullen or be a part of their family or living with them. The structure of the family is an important part of the book, leave it alone.
10. If you would like to reserve a character while you are working on a bio, you may pm me (admin) and I will reserve that character for you for 48 hours. If your bio is not posted by then, the character will no longer be on reserve if someone else posts a bio that is approved. You may still post a bio for that character after that time, but so can anyone else.
11. Transformations - any character wishing to be transformed from human to vampire must pm both Bella and myself for approval. With that being said, the answer will most likely be no as this is a rarity, and it takes a lot of self control to turn a vampire. If you take a character who is a human, expect to keep them that way. Humans are more in need than vampires as they should be in higher populations.
12. In an attempt to keep all of the characters unique and not repeate storylines, if your noncanon character or history appears too similar to a canon or an existing non-character, you may be asked to modify it to avoid overlap.
13. Female werewolfs are no longer allowed as it was a rarity for Leah to exist. Also no 2 wolves may imprint on the same person.
14. No more Canon-Wolves may imprint unless they have imprinted in the books.
