Character Basics
Name: Will Adams
Nickname:
Age:30
Appearance
Looks: Will is about 6 feet tall, with a slender, but well toned build (with a great set of abs). He has short light brown hair that has a bit of a curl to it so he usually slicks it back. Occasionally he’ll bleach the tips when he gets bored. He has blue eyes and a strong bone structure to his face with cheekbones like straight razors. Will is always well put together, favoring a more casual look of dress, almost always in a leather jacket.
Scars, tattoos, other marks: He has a scar above his left eyebrow that he got when he was 18. He was seen exiting a gay club in Seattle and was beaten by some intolerant individuals.
Portrayed by: James Marsters
Personality and Stats
Basic Personality:While his brother got the brains in the family, Will got the brawn. While not overly muscular or large in build, Will is very good in a fight, knowing how to take care of himself. He’s not the type to start a fight for no reason, but he doesn’t shy away from one either. He’s a bit of a rebel, with a loose interpretation of the law. He doesn’t often care much about the consequences of his actions if it gives him the thrill in the moment. While he’s never done any jail time he has seen the back of a police car on several occasions and talked his way out of even more situations. The fact that he enjoys alcohol and the occasional joint does not help this.
Sarcasm and flirting are his two favorite modes of communication. But beyond his tough guy exterior is a softer more sensitive side that he’s felt the need to protect and hide for years now. He has a good heart and can be caring, looking out for those he’s close to. Those close to him get to see the man with the guard let down, making jokes and showing vulnerability. But those people are few and far between. He makes no secret of his attraction to men, but also is not the type to flaunt it, or be overly feminine.
Species: Human
Abilities: none
Occupation:picks up the random odd job (or uses a five finger discount) to survive
Car: ’76 blue camaro
History:
Birthplace: greater London, England
Family: Brother Trent Adams
Friends:Rory AuYeung (dealer), Taz Moytoy
History:
Will had an ordinary upbringing in greater London born to two loving parents and having an older brother 3 years his elder. When he was in his teens his family moved to Washington, where they eventually settled down in Forks. His brother was always the smart one in the family, the genius. Will never thought that he’d be able to live up to his brother’s legacy so stopped trying to long ago. Where Trent spent time studying and acing standardized tests, Will used his intelligence to find out ways to skip class unnoticed and rebel. Will was definitely the wilder one of the two, mostly because as a kid he never believed he’d be as good as his brother and didn’t want to face the failure of that reality once he got there. Will did still admire his brother even if he didn’t follow the same path. He was proud of him when he went off to college, and even though he didn’t want to admit it, he missed him greatly when he moved out.
Will dated a lot in high school, the popular girls attracted to his bad boy attitude and good looks. But by the time he graduated (something Will himself is still surprised he actually did and didn’t drop out before then), Will had realized that while girls made great friends, he’d rather be hitting on the boys. While Will fully embraced his attraction to men and the fact that he was gay, he never saw it really as a lifestyle choice for him. He dated men yes, but he was still the same Will, he didn’t flaunt it or try to hide it anymore than he would the color of his eyes. He’s not the type to march in the gay pride parade, and make every aspect of his life about being gay but make a bigoted remark towards him and he’d punch the person in the face.
Will had moved out of his parents house shortly after graduation. He spent the next decade of his life enjoying life. He went to clubs, got to know people, experimented with drugs (though now strictly sticks to alcohol and the occasional joint of marijuana). He takes many random and short term jobs just enough to pay the rent and his expenses. Anything else he needs he finds a way around paying to obtain. He is very loose with his interpretation of the law, not doing things that would purposely hurt people or ever taking enough to create hardship for anyone, but thinking rules were meant to be broken, or at least stretched to see how far they go before they break. He often enjoys testing that theory trying to live life to the fullest.
