Personality and Stats
Basic Personality:Hayley is a very friendly person. She loves her job, enjoying both the subjects and spending her day with young adults. She was always a bit more reserved, not quite as outgoing as her brother Jack was, though with her love of the theater, she’s not overly shy either. However the two of them both share one specific characteristic: they both have an appreciation for both genders. She isn’t quite as open as Jack is, but dates men and women equally and is still hoping to find “the one” no matter who they are. She’s a romantic at heart, loving that aspect of theater the best.
Species: Human

Occupation: Drama teacher at Forks High
Car:Honda Insight (hybrid)
History:
Birthplace:Fort Riley, Kansas
Family: Older brother Jack, mother surviving

History:
Hayley is the youngest born child of Captain and Mrs. Harkness, born at the US Army base camp Fort Riley in Kansas. She has an older brother Jack. The family moved around a lot, as most army “brats” tended to do. She never was really around any other kids her own age long enough to make closer friendships so she became close to her brother, always looking up to him.
When Hayley was only 13, her father passed away, run over by a bus full of his men from the barracks. It was hard for Hayley to deal with at such a young age, but she began depending on Jack even more to be the male figure in her life, even though he left soon after to become a police officer.
While Jack went off to his new career, Hayley and her mother settled down in the small town of Forks. Hayley attended high school there and briefly went away for college, getting a degree in teaching before returning to Forks (where she could be close to her mother) to teach at her old high school. She was thrilled when Jack got a transfer to the police force there. Feeling like for the first time since she was 13 her family was complete again.
