{...post Breaking Dawn...}
The rain was beating against the window as Lyndal laid on the twin bed and pulled the blankets further around her. It was cold even with the extra blankets, sweats as pajamas and fluffy bed socks; she could still feel the morning chill. Other people were awake in the house, but she didn’t want to get up. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to see Ruana and Cornaro; Lyndal didn’t really want to see anyone right then. She was feeling homesick and feeling sorry for herself. It was the first Sunday of her first week in La Push, and she really missed Australia, missed Sarah and missed the sun.
Nash. Nash was the only thing that made been there worth it. He was the only one she could muster a smile for, and laugh with or at. He made everything brighter.
Lyndal laid still and listen to Cornaro and Ru try to keep Travis quiet as they worked on getting him out the house. Nash had been out the night before working Ru had said, and was sleeping to catch up on sleep ready for work tomorrow. Once Ru, Cor and Travis left they’d be alone in the house; it was something Lyndal knew she shouldn’t feel so happy about. He was sleeping, she was pretending to sleep when she could get up and study or read, maybe go for a run.
A door opened, Lyndal knew it was the door to Nash’s room. Through the thin walls she heard a voice saying good bye, a muffled hush then a deeper voice saying an echoed good bye. Nash wasn’t sleeping, not then anyway. Lyndal turned and watched the door hoping no one would come check on her and force her to fake sleep. No one did. The next sound she heard was the front door opening then closing and locking.
The house was finally quiet and empty apart from her and Nash.
Laid listening to the rain and still feeling sleepy Lyndal was suddenly a lot sadder then she first thought she was. She needed a hug. She wanted to share a closeness with someone and there was only one person she wanted to share that with; Nashal. Before she laid there and gave into the tears Lyndal pushed back the covers and swung her feet to the floor.
The air without the blankets was colder then she expected. Standing quickly Lyndal crossed the room and pulled her hoodie from the back of the door, shrugging into it before pulling open the door to the hall way. Even though she had heard them leave Dal still checked the hall and listened for any sounds of the rest of the family.
Silence.
It was only a few steps to Nash’s door, steps Lyndal made on auto pilot. She knew she should let him sleep. She knew she should go back to bed pull the blankets over her head and cry into her pillow, but something told her Nash wouldn’t mind her disturbing his sleep. Something told her he would want to comfort her. Wishful thinking she told herself as she raised her hand to knock on the door. Then she thought twice about knocking, but not about going to him.
Dropping her hand to the door handle Lyndal twisted the door and pushed it open a little slipping in through the crack and keeping as much light out as possible. The room was dark again as she pushed the door closed hoping she wouldn’t hear the clock and be startled by her presence. Letting go of the door Lyndal took a couple of small steps into the small neat room. There were two twin beds, one neatly made and the other clearly occupied with blankets pushed down to his waist, his chest bare.
Lyndal stared a little as she moved those few steps and before she spoke. When she did speak her voice was coarse with sleep and unshed tears. “Nash, are you awake?” She asked her feet taking a few steps closer she was by the bed looking down at him. “I’m sorry to wake you…its just…I’m….” Lyndal took a shaky breath and waited for him to speak.

Nash felt exhausted. He had only gotten back home an hour or two earlier before his aunt came into get Travis and start getting him ready to go out with him for the day. Nash had to lie the night before. He hated lying to his family and to Dal, but he knew he had to. He had to patrol that night, but that wasn’t exactly something he could tell his aunt and uncle that he was off doing. So he had to say he was working. It wasn’t an excuse that made a whole lot of sense, he knew, but it was the best he could come up with. There werent many mechanics who worked in the middle of the night, but he tried to tell them how the odd hours gave him more time during the day to see Travis. Unfortunately the hours that he actually did need to work, still interfered with that frequently. Luckily being Sunday he had the day off from at least one of his jobs.
Travis was not the quietest person to wake up as he rustled through his drawers getting clothes out and loudly whispered to his aunt about what he should wear. Nash knew it would be easier to wait until he was gone to try to go back to sleep. Travis left for a little while, for what Nash could only assume was to get breakfast. It wasn’t long before they were leaving and poking their heads back in. Nash said goodbye to the three of them. Travis had run back in and gave his father a hug, something that even sleepily Nash could enjoy. “See ya later buddy, be good” He said kissing his forehead before laying back in bed as the door closed.
Nash closed his eyes, feeling a bit of soreness in his muscles from all the running he had done that night. There hadn’t been any trouble, but he never felt they could really let their guards down when they were patrolling. There were too many people here that Nash cared about to risk being lazy for even a night.
Nash was in a state in between being awake and asleep when he heard the door to his room open again. He initially thought it must have been Travis having forgotten something and come back. But then he heard the voice. Her voice seemed so familiar and comforting to him.
He opened his eyes and lifted his head slightly, leaning against his forearm. “Dal?” He asked though knowing it was her, having been surprised that she was coming in, and worried that there was a problem. He heard the shakyness in her voice. “Yeah, I’m awake, come on in…you okay?” He asked.

The night before Lyndal had wondered why a mechanic went so late. Whose car did he fix? For a split second she wondered if he’d be lying at the airport, maybe he did still see Nash’s mother. Then logic kicked in and she knew she would know when Nash was lying. He’d by lying about working as a mechanic; she just wasn’t sure about the truth.
Lyndal smiled at his sleeping form, just seeing him and been in the same room as Nash relaxed her and she suddenly didn’t feel like crying as much. It still felt a little strange to her that someone she’d only just met could make her feel so calm and comfortable, yet he still managed to get her work up just in a different way.
When she spoke Lyndal felt a tinge of guilt for perhaps waking him, he’d obviously been out late. She could hear the croak in her own voice, but she didn’t feel self conscious. Looking at him, she wasn’t sure she’d ever feel self conscious around him. Even stood there in sweats and furry bed socks.
When his eyes opened to looked at her and he spoke his name for her, Lyndal felt her whole face light up. He looked amazing even half asleep. This was the first time she’d seen him so undressed and she couldn’t help but wonder what he was wearing under the blankets. His chest was chiseled with the muscles she’d imagined back at the airport, just as the arm that supported his head was stacked too. Looking at his arms and chest Lyndal wanted nothing more, right then to be held in his arms against his chest.
“Sorry to wake you.” She said impulsively, but uninvited, taking a seat on the edge of his bed. “I woke up feeling home sick.” She shrugged and sighed a little still staring down into his eyes.
Looking into his eyes Lyndal half smiled, “Cold too.” She said honestly wrapping her arms around herself slightly. Even though she’d probably woken him up, come into his room uninvited and was now sat on his bed she didn’t regret it or feels silly. In fact Lyndal felt comforted, and welcome, but still she wanted that extra closeness she had wanted every day since arriving.

As Nash woke up to the beautiful sound of his imprintee’s voice he managed to remember that he was in bed, and that given his temperature he didn’t frequently need much in the way of clothing to keep himself warm. He looked down and pulled up on the blanket slightly just to make sure that it came up at least to his waist.
As he looked over at her he smiled as he saw her in the sweats. She looked adorable. Though he believed that she could be wearing a brown paper bag and still look adorable to him. She was absolutely stunning and her personality had a quality to it that just increased her appeal to him.
“No its okay, I was already still a little awake from Travis leaving” Nash told her honestly as she apologized for waking. “Besides, you can wake me up anytime” he told her, trying to keep it from coming off in a sleazy manner and just sounding friendly. He watched her sit on the edge of his bed and his heart leaped in his chest. The image of her on his bed was almost too much for him to take. He wanted to have her in his bed, even in a plutonic way, just to see her lying there, and maybe even wake up beside her.
“I’m sorry to hear that” He replied as she told him she was homesick. “Do you want to talk about it?” He asked, knowing he couldn’t really do much to cure homesickness. He wasn’t exactly much of a reminder of life in Australia.
When Lyndal mentioned being cold, Nash looked at her concerned. It was his job to take care of her every need, including this one, so he had to try to find a solution. He just hoped his solution wouldn’t scare her off or make him seem like too much of a creep. “You’re welcome to get under the blankets if you want to try to warm up…”

Lyndal almost blushed as Nash pulled the blankets up a little more, it was only then she realized she’d probably been staring. His body was amazing, she’d never seen it and now she really couldn’t stop looking. “Sorry.” She muttered dropping her eyes to the floor afraid of blushing.
She was been ridiculous and she knew it; wandering into his room in the morning in sweats when she should let him sleep. Lyndal felt silly standing there in sweats knowing she probably looked a mess or at least looked her age. Pulling the sleeves of her hoodie over her hands she fiddled with her zipper and shifted in her sock clad feet.
Lyndal was relieved when he said he had already been awake, she’d have hated to have woken him. Wake him anytime? Lyndal would like to do that, wake up with him and next to him; with him. She looked up and smiled. “I heard Travis and your aunt and uncle leave. I was awake too.” She said trying to keep her eyes on his face, no matter how much they wanted to wander to his body. “I’ll remember that when I wake up in the middle of the night” Lyndal smiled wondering if she’d ever wake him up for no reason, knowing that she would even just to be with him.
Sitting on his bed felt comfortable, natural, but Lyndal hope she wasn’t imposing or coming off desperate. He sounded so sincere when he apologized for her homesickness. It was a childish point to come to him with so early, and she hoped he wouldn’t look at her like a pathetic child. “I feel better just been with you. Silly isn’t it?” She shrugged not really feeling silly at all, more comforted. “I hardly know you, but I feel better just been in the same room as you.” Lyndal said then quickly fell silent for fear of embarrassing herself.
There was a chill in the air constantly in La Push, something she was trying hard to get used to; the weather was certainly not Australian sunshine. The offer he gave made Lyndal smile, it was a gesture that felt natural not forced or creepy. Lyndal shifted herself without speak so she was laid next to him, but not too close, lifting the blankets slightly to slip under, her eyes on his face not wandering.
Once she was settled and face to face with him she smiled. “Thank you, for everything.” She said gently. Under the blankets was warm, warmer then her bed and blankets. “Do you have a heater in here? It’s so warm.” She laughed and wriggled her legs brushing his, she could feel the tingle of the brief touch even through her sweats.

Nash heard Lyndal’s apology and saw her eyes drop. It took him a moment to realize what she could possibly be apologizing for and immediately felt guilty. He had only moved the covers to make her more comfortable, not to make her feel guilty. Had the change in eye movements meant she had actually been looking? The thought of that made him smile a bit. “Its okay..” He said softly.
Nash could only hope that he didn’t look too much like he had been expecting her and trying to impress her, laying here shirtless, as if on display. Her arrival was honestly a surprise, a welcome one, but something he hadn’t expected. He watched her moving he zipper of the hoodie around, wishing he could just hug her and make her more comfortable. The other imprinters said physical contact helped with the calmness.
“I hope they didn’t wake you” Nash said as she mentioned that she too heard Travis and his aunt and uncle getting ready to leave. “Travis isn’t always the most quiet when he’s trying to be quiet, even his whispers can be kinda loud” He admitted, hoping his son wasn’t the reason she was awake and now thinking about home. He smiled as she mentioned keeping in mind his offer when she woke in the middle of the night. “You know where to find me”
Nash smiled again as she told him that she already felt better just sitting there with him. “That doesn’t sound silly at all, I’m glad having some company helps..if you want to talk about your home or your family, you can, unless that would just make it worse” He said not knowing which would help cure home sickness more.
Nash watched a little nervously her reaction after his offer for her to join him in bed under the covers. It had been an innocent offer, seeing as how she had been cold, but he knew the looks of it and the sound of it was probably bad and would seem as though he had worse intentions. While of course he had thought of that possibility he knew it was too soon to even consider something like that, so right now he did just want to share a bed and covers with her, to warm her up and help ease her sadness.
“You’re welcome” Nash responded, watching her slowly getting into bed under the blankets and turning to face him. He looked away as she asked about a heater, knowing that it was just him. He felt her leg move against her, a tingle of excitement going through him at the brief contact. “No..uh. no heater in here, just the vents from the house…its one of the warmer rooms in the house I guess…is that better?” He asked, hoping she wasn’t either still cold or now feeling too warm being so close to him.

Lyndal wanted to stare at him, his body drew her eyes just as she imagined they drew the eyes of most teenage girls, like Travis’ mum. It made her jealous, the idea of other girls looking at him. Lyndal already knew she had no desire to look at any other man, even the ones at school who tried to get her attention; she had no interest in anyone but Nash. “Nice body.” She smiled and bit her lip. She felt the need to say something having clearly been caught looking.
Been in Nash’s bedroom was something Lyndal had though about a lot in her first week with his family, she knew she shouldn’t be thinking about him like that at all but she couldn’t help it. Since he’s greeted her at the airport she’d been smitten, more then smitten, she’d been in love with him. Most of her time both in school and at home was taken up thinking about him her only hope was she didn’t seem like a love struck teen when ever he was around.
Seeing him in bed now Lyndal wanted to be with him, in bed. Never before had she though about that stage of a relationship with a guy, but now seeing him like that it was all she could think about. The feel of this skin, his touch; Lyndal hoped she wasn’t blushing.
“They didn’t wake me, its ok. And Travis is adorable; he can wake me any time.” She smiled wanting him to know it wasn’t his family, especially his little boy’s, fault for her been awake. “I could hear the rain and then I started thinking and then I got home sick and that really woke me up.” She said through sighs and shrugs. It was the cold too that had woken her but Lyndal didn’t want to complain about his home.
She did know where he was, but Lyndal wondered if she would ever feel comfortable waking him up just to be with him. “Yea, but I can’t wake you in the middle of the night. You have work.” She said with a friendly and thankful smile. “Was work last night busy?” She asked not wanting to pry but wanting to know.
“Just been with you helps.” She said truthfully thinking the talk of home would make her feel more homesick and torn, how could she want to go home when she wanted to be with him more? “Thank you though, even for just letting me be in here with you. If you’re tired I can go.” She said turning towards the door slightly.
She had to be still sleep, Lyndal was sure it was a dream that he just offered her entry to his bed. The one thing she wanted more then anything was happening, she hoped again that she wasn’t blushing as she moved towards his bed. Would he think her easy? Her mother and father and even Laurie had warned her about boys and getting in their bed. Was she been easy? Should she have said no and thanked him then left? Lyndal didn’t care what the right think to do was, she was happy slipping into bed next to him.
It was so warm in his bed; she could feel the heating coming from him as if he had a fever, but he explained it was the vents. “Maybe I should fight you for this room; you clearly don’t feel the heat.” She said with a laughed, her body shaking a little and her arm brushing his body as she moved. Lyndal had no intention of making him and Travis move out of this room, she was thinking about sneaking in more often to see him and get warm; not just an excuse.

Nash smiled, surprised at how open she was in complimenting his body. He wasn’t the type who had to spend time in the gym. His job, and genes as a wolf, helped keep him in good physical condition. He now was appreciative to both of those things for having gained him approval by his dearest Dal. “Thank you” He said appreciatively, then added with a wink “You too”
Having Lyndal in his bedroom was something Nash had dreamed about. Though he tried to fight off the more intimate thoughts, just the idea of her being here, in a private area with him alone was enough to soothe him. He just wanted her company. And he hoped that she still wanted his. He hoped each day that Lyndal would allow him some day to be more than just the guy who lived across the hall.
Nash felt thrilled to know that when she was upset, he was the one she had come to. He tried not to think about how he was the only one left, but hoped that the imprinting phenomenon was allowing him to be a comforting influence over her. He smiled as she assured him that they didn’t wake her and that she wouldn’t mind being woken by his son. “You’re very understand”
He listened as she explained how the rain had got her thinking about home which made her homesick and awake. He wished he knew what he could do to help her. He didn’t want her to go back, but he wanted her happy. He wanted her to be happy here, with him.
“Really I mean it, you can wake me anytime, middle of the night, or when I’m getting up at 5 in the morning for work, anything really” He tried to convince her. He would always be happy to see her, and would never be inconvenienced by her waking him. “Work wasn’t too bad, lots of running around though”
“I’m glad that it does help” Nash said softly in response to her admission. He reached over and gently placed his hand on the top of her upper arm, attempting to console her without getting too physical when they were already in bed together. He didn’t want her to think he was trying to pull anything. He had made the mistake of rushing into this before in his life, he was more careful now, even if he did know he’d love her forever.
Nash laughed as she mentioned fighting him for the room and made another comment about the heat. He knew if they switched she wouldn’t be any warmer in this room or he would have switched with her immediately. “Well you’re welcome to come warm up in here anytime you want”

Nash winked and Lyndal turned crimson. Was he flirting? She looked down at her non matching sweats, slept in shirt and could only imagine how her hair looked piled atop her head. “Thanks.” She said trying to hide the blush.
Standing in Nash’s bedroom Lyndal could hardly believe she’d done it, she’d never been in a man’s room. Certainly not in a morning and when they were still in bed, shirtless. She didn’t let her eyes get pulled back to his body, instead Lyndal kept her eyes focused on the ground and her fluffy bed socks. Would he ever see her as the woman she wanted him to, she wondered. Though she doubted it, to him she knew she was probably just the exchange girl. To her, he was amazing. In the past week every moment had been taken up by thoughts of him.
A phone call home would have fixed her homesickness, even a call to New York would have help. Yet Lyndal had done neither, she’d decided very quickly after waking up that she wanted to see Nash. Was it really homesickness? Was she missing Nash? Lyndal wondered how you could miss someone you only saw the night before and who was in another room only a few feet away. Yet as soon as she saw him, the homesick feeling or whatever it was had vanished.
“I think I feel a little better now, actually.” She smiled as he listened to her. “I think seeing you did it. You have this ability to…” Lyndal stopped, she knew whatever she said was going to sound silly, maybe make her sound like a girl with a crush. “I don’t know. I just feel calmer, and better around you.” She said with a shrug, it was hard to explain the feeling just been near him brought over her; completeness?
Seeing Nash first thing in a morning was something Lyndal knew would start her day off well. The idea of coming to him in the night if she was sad sounded right, the most natural thing in her life. “Thank you, I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.” She smiled more brightly this time actually accepting his offer.
Work sounded hard, running around. “Are you tired?” She asked wondering if he would rather sleep. “I could go and we could talk later.” She offered when the last thing she wanted to do was leave. She didn’t want to be away from him.
When Nash’s hand touched her arm Lyndal could swear she could feel the heat through the fabric, but the tingle was more intense then anything. She craved more, wanted to touch him back. Would he think her easy if she touched him? She smiled and bit her lip enjoying the touch of his hand not wanting to risk him pulling away. She bent the arm he was touching slipping her hand under her head, he body moved an inch closer. All so slow, nothing sudden or forced. “I like being here with you.” She smiled staring into his face, so close to hers.
Nash’s laugh made Lyndal laugh, just as his smile made her smile; everything about him was infectious in the most amazing way. There was no way she’d swap rooms with him, if he had the warmer room she could come visit more often; and it meant her and Travis were warm. Lyndal had come to like Travis a lot in her first week at the house; an energetic playful sweetheart.
“I’m still kind of cold now.” Lyndal lied trying to shiver, but unable to do anything but enjoy the tingle of his hand on her arm. “Would you…I mean, can I have a hug?” She asked finding the words came out easier then she thought they would. Lyndal didn’t feel uncomfortable or awkward asking at all.

Nash saw Lyndal’s blush as soon as he winked at her, and immediately he wondered if maybe he was going to far. Maybe he shouldn’t be so forward with her. Afterall she was younger than he was. So innocent and sweet. He didn’t want to embarrass her or make her feel uncomfortable being around him. But she did reply with a thanks, hopefully not too upset by his gesture.
Nash smiled happily as she told him that she was already feeling better and that seeing him had helped, that he made her feel calmer and better when she was around him. It made him feel that warm tingle inside knowing that he was doing something write as an imprinter. She was feeling how she was supposed to feel. He was making her calm and easing her homesickness. He wanted to make all her troubles go away to always keep her in a better place.
“I guess that just means we should spend more time together” He told her, honestly hoping they could and that she would come to his room more often, even if it meant he’d be sacrificing sleep. “You know…I feel the same” he admitted to her. “I feel better around you too..I’m always happier when I get to see you” he said hoping he didn’t sound like he was just saying some cheesey line.
“You’re welcome” Nash responded as she thanked him for his offer to come to him anytime she wanted, day or night. He liked that she didn’t want to go anywhere else. That he wasn’t’ just the only one left in the house, but he was her choice of people to come to.
Nash shook his head as she asked if he was tired. It was a bit of a lie, but he tried to justify it with knowing he felt more awake now that she was here. He didn’t want her to leave or to feel guilty about keeping him up. There was no way he’d get back to sleep now. He was too excited about this visit. “No, you should stay really…I’m not that tired…we can talk now”
She didn’t pull away when he touched her arm, something he was grateful for, but he still hoped it wasn’t too much. She was already in his bed, maybe he shouldn’t be doing anything to make her think he was after more. He wanted to be close to her yes, but it didn’t have to go further than this for him to be happy. He smiled back as she told him she liked being there with him. “I like having you here too.” He told her, desperately wanting to kiss her right now, but stopping himself. He didn’t want to scare her off or to have her think he was only interested in one thing from her. He wanted to be there as her support as the person she could count on to come to at any time and not have to worry about complications.
He looked at her with concern as she said she was still a bit cold. He didn’t want her to be uncomfortable in any way. But as she asked him for a hug, his heart skipped a beat. Her desires and his were in sync. He wanted to be closer to her and now she was asking for it. Sure she may have just wanted extra warmth from him but it was a start. She wasn’t opposed to the idea of him holding her, even if they were in bed. “Yes of course” He said nodding as he inched over closer to her and gently put his arms around her.

The wink she received from Nash made her smile and blush, she’d had men wink at her before but from Nash it was different. When he wink at her Lyndal actually let herself believe there was more behind it then just flirting. She wasn’t embarrassed by the wink, just a little shy been in his room in her pajamas while he was still in bed half naked.
It was true what she said, been around him had calmed her. Suddenly the tears that felt as if they were all ready to fall seemed to have receded. Her mind was no longer flooded with memories of home, but with thoughts of him and what they would do with her time here. Lyndal just hoped that all she was thinking weren’t just day dreams. She was now more preoccupied with him then her sadness which was all but gone, he always calmed and settled her since the first moment she’d met him.
When Nash suggested spending more time together Lyndal felt herself smile at the idea, she wanted to spend a lot more time with him and it was nice to hear he might want that too. “I’d like that, spending more time with you I mean.” She said clarifying that she wanted to be around him more. She was sure she’d visit his room again now knowing he welcomed her as much as she wanted it. Lyndal’s smile grew as he admitted her presence made him happier, “If we make each other happy we should definitely spend more time together.” She said letting her head lift and her voice carry its accent towards him. “we could hang out today?” She offered hoping he wouldn’t think her too forward at what might have been just a polite comment and hoping he wasn’t too tired.
“I just wanted to see you.” Dal said in a lower voice now admitting something she was shy about even though it was very true. She didn’t want to come across as a love sick teenager to this man. She wanted to tell him no one else would make her feel so calm as he could, just by seeing him. “Needed to see you.” She corrected herself still in a low voice as she fiddled with her zipper again.
Lyndal knew Nash was tired, she wasn’t sure how she knew she just did, but she smiled at his lie. She didn’t want to go anywhere else, not now she was finally alone with him again. In the past week since her arrival at the house, this was her first chance to be alone with him since the truck ride. “I wont leave.” She told him with a coy smile glad he wanted her to stay. “I’d like that. I like talking with you.” She admitted thinking back to their long talk on the way back from the airport. Nothing had been off limits and the conversation flowed so easily.
Been in the same bed as Nash was the furthest Lyndal had ever been with a man. Her parents and brother had ingrained it in her to wait and save herself for marriage, but with Nash she didn’t feel she was breaking any rules. In fact Lyndal wanted more, she wanted to be closer to him. The touch of his hand on her arm only made her want him more. Dal smiled at his words, she was glad he liked having her there happy she hadn’t intruded. “I’ve never been in a man’s bed before.” Lyndal said shyly looking away from his eyes for a moment. She wasn’t sure why she said it, but it felt right. She wanted him to know she didn’t get in bed with every man she knew, but was a little embarrassed telling him she was a virgin knowing he wasn’t. She didn’t feel pressured into anything been in his bed, knowing that it had been her idea.
Lyndal wasn’t cold at all when she lied and said she was she was just seeking an excuse to be closer to him. When she asked for a hug she hoped he wouldn’t refuse or think her a tease. His yes made Dal smile and her heart race. When his arms slipped around her Lyndal wasn’t sure what to do with her arms. Lying on her side she kept the one under her flat to the bed for fear of embarrassment at touching anything, her other arm she rested over his hip gripping his back.
Nash’s skin was so hot to the touch and Lyndal again worried if he was running a temperature and getting sick. She knew if he was sick, she’d be right by his side. Resting her forehead against his shoulder Dal breathed in his scent and smiled into his chest. “Thank you.” She said then in a voice almost silent and on instinct she added, “Don’t let go.” She wasn’t sad anymore, and had no fear of tears she just didn’t want him to let her go not now or ever. She felt comfortable and comforted in his arms, her heart was racing and her mind wandering at the close contact.

Nash saw her smile in response to his suggestion that they spend more time together, something he was grateful for, she seemed to like the idea. "I'd like that too" He told her, though he knew it was probably obvious (or seemed like it to him) from the way he was acting. He nodded again as she said how if they made each other happy they should definitely spend more time together. "It makes sense"
His smile grew as she suggested they hang out that day. "Yeah, that'd be great!" He told her, excited about the idea. "We can do whatever you'd like, ladies choice" he told her, not caring what they did, go out or just hang out around the house.
He watched as she shyly admitted how she needed to see him. "I'm glad I was here when you needed me" He told her, grateful that he hadn't been out when her homesickness hit. He would have felt horribly if she had been left alone with those feelings. He smiled relieved as she agreed to stay, hoping he had convinced her he was awake enough for her not to need to leave. "I like talking with you too"
As Lyndal admitted that she had never been in a man's bed before several thoughts ran through Nash's mind. He worried that she may regret having gotten into his, thinking they were moving too quickly. He felt honored that she had felt enough of him to take this step with him, though he expected nothing further from her. And he wished that he had been able to tell her he had never had a woman in his bed before either. "If this feels like too much I can go over on Travis' bed" He offered, not wanting to leave her side but letting her know he respected that this wasn't a move she was used to.
When Lyndal asked for a hug it reassured him that she did still want to be here and wasnt regretting it now that she was in his bed. Having her in his arms felt like the completion of himself. One of her arms moved around him over his hip. "You're welcome" He replied to her thanks. "I won't" He promised her as she told him not to let go.

Spending any time together sounded good to Lyndal, doing anything especially if she Nash and Travis were together. Smiling as he said it made sense Dal was glad he seemed to like the idea as much as she did. “Yea for sure.” She said in a sleepy contented voice.
Needing to see Nash was like needing to breath. At first the intensity had been so unusual and frightening, but now she was so accustom to the feeling it was like part of her. Needing to see Nash now and going to him felt natural, but she was shy at how natural it felt and wondered if he felt even an ounce of what she felt. “I’m glad you we’re here too.” She said just as shyly wondering what she’d have done without him, the idea of crying in her bed sounded worst then just crying, but been in bed with Nash she didn’t feel like crying at all. It wasn’t just talking that Dal like, she liked anything that involved been with him. “If you’re tired we can just lay her quiet.” She ventured.
When Nash offered to move to Travis’ bed Dal tensed at the very idea of him been away from her scared her more then the nervous feeling of been in bed with him. “No no, I came to you and its not too much.” She smiled trying to reassure him it was fine and that she wanted him to stay. “Don’t go to Travis’ bed.” she said a little quieter not sure if it sounded like a plea, order or wishful thinking.
Asking for a hug was a big step for Lyndal, it was the closest contact they’d had, but been in his arms felt more then right it was perfect. She felt a few tell tale tears escape her eyes as she leaned into his bare chest, she wasn’t sure if it was contentment and happiness or the tinge of homesick and sadness that called forth the tears. Dal relaxed into the embrace, breathing in his scent and feeling the heat of his body pressed against the length of hers. “I like this.” She said not moving from his embrace. Her voice cracked a little, but she was more sure now that it was from happiness and the feeling of completion at the embrace. Her fingers lightly traced the muscles of his back hoping it wasn’t implying too much.

Nash smiled at her as Lyndal spoke of being glad he was there. He hoped that he would always be there, anytime she ever needed him, or anytime when she didnt know she needed him but just felt sad, or lonely or homesick, and he could try to be there for her. He never wanted her to have to go through anything alone in her life. "No, its alright, we can talk as long as you like" He told her, not minding being a bit tired when it gave him a chance to enjoy being so close to her.
Nash hoped that his offer to move to Travis' bed hadn't been seen as a rejection when she immediately told him no that it wasn't too much. He just wanted her to be happy and comfortable. But given the choice, he didnt want to leave either. "I won't, I'll stay right here" He told her, grateful that she did want him to stay, despite any anxiety she may have over being in bed with a man for the first time.
When Nash looked down and saw the tears running down her cheek as she leaned against him, he worried that this was too much for her. Or that he wasn't actually helping her homesickness. He should be able to keep her happier than this, to stop her from crying. He held her a little tighter, trying to protect her from any sadness she might have. It surprised him to hear her say that she liked this, but at the same he heard the cracking in her voice. "Are you sure?" He asked wondering if she was just trying to do and say what she thought he wanted from her, as her hands traced his muscles.

“Been held is just as good. I could happily fall asleep here.” she said moving closer to him and wanting him to sleep knowing he was probably tired after his night work as what she assumed was the garage. “Was it a hard night last night?” She ask gently their face so close to one another, she could see the sleepiness in his eyes but it was more the depth of them she was lost in.
When he offered to move Dal thought maybe he didn’t want her there, maybe he didn’t feel for her like she felt for him. It felt like rejection, but his words quickly changed that. “Good, I don’t think this would feel as nice with you in the other bed.” She smiled trying to convince further to stay in the bed with her. “I’m ok with this. Its nice…well more then nice.” she smiled
When he asked if she was sure Dal laughed a little and smiled. “Yea, I’m sure. I want this. These are happy, silly tears.” She said with another half light laugh. She snuggled closer to him, but kept her body inches from curling into his. Her head buried into his shoulder and she let her breath brush against his neck. “Are you ok with this?” She asked wonder if her body against his was making him think about the typical man things, things she didn’t want from him just then.
