{About one year post Breaking Dawn}
The truck bounced along ever crack in the road on the way to Forks, Lyndal gripped the books in her lap to keep them from bouncing to the floor. Glancing over at Kele she watched the pretty dark haired girl who had become a very good friend of hers over the past few months. Lyndal liked Kele from the moment their respective boyfriends had introduced them they had so much in common; both new to the reservation, both imprintees…the list went on.
Lyndal looked out at the road ahead, a drizzle was falling something that had been almost constant for the last week. It was cold too, something Lyndal was reluctantly getting used too. It had its perks, like snuggling up with Nash on a Sunday morning once everyone left. It was something she actively looked forward too.
“So, I need to return these books, pick up books for English and history. And I need to see if they have any information on visas and marriage licenses and all that.” Dal said with a smile evident in her voice even as she tried to hide it radiating on her face. Every time she thought about marrying Nash Lyndal could hardly fight the smile that erupted onto her face. “What about you? Anything specific? Baby books maybe?” She asked turning to Kele her words laced with her accent and a hint of teasing as she broached the subject of mother hood.
As they edged closer to the Forks library Lyndal adjusted her rain jacket, pulling it closer around her and raising her hood in preparation for stepping out into the rain. “We should get coffee or something hot after the library. The boys won’t be out of work till later, we got time.” Lyndal said knowing she wouldn’t be the only one missing her man; she knew Kele missed Daylan too. It was something else they shared and understood about each other, another bonding factor.

You would think that after living in forks for a couple of years that you would have gotten used to the weather. It was not the cold, or the snow. It was the constant cloud cover and rain that were the biggest problem. It was amazing how this quiet little town was able to be built if it rained so much. Then again one could only imagine how long it took to build anything here.
Even after a couple of years of working here Shiloh still worked at the library. It was an easy job with good pay, nothing to really complain about. By now she knew where every book was in the place, but the computer system was another matter entirely. Still not really computer savvy the computer was the one thing that gave her the biggest problem and unfortunately that is how they did their filing these days.
Shiloh even thought that she would have been in college by now, but it was hard to come by the money. Besides she wanted a little break to try and figure out what she really wanted to do with her life. She even thought about becoming a writer just because she has a love for books.
Letting out a small sigh as the computer froze one again she lightly tapped the side of the monitor. Then a loud booming voice could be heard across the library. "SHILOH STOP HITTING THE COMPUTER!" This even made Shiloh jump a bit, and everyone in the library turned around to look at her, her cheeks turning a deep red.

Kele had been grateful that either her husband or Lyndal had been able to convince Nash to let them borrow his truck for the day. Kele still hadn’t been able to afford a car of her own, not really needing one to get around the reservation. And Day’s bike was almost always in the shop, plus she wasn’t sure how much she wanted to be on the back of motorcycle right now, after the news she had found out just a couple weeks ago. Kele enjoyed spending time with Lyndal. It hadn’t even been a year since they met, but the two seemed to instantly click, and got along almost as well as their respective imprinters who were more like brothers than best friends. Maybe it was the bond of having their soulmates being so close that brought them together. Or maybe just the bond of one imprintee meeting another, and being of similar ages.
“We’ll get all the research done on the visas and marriage lisences, make sure that Nashal can get you to stick around when the school year’s up. “ Kele said, determined not to let paperwork cause her friend and her husband’s best friend be separated. She knew it would be devastating to them both. She didn’t even want to think of the possibility that she and Daylan could be separated now. They had both gone through so much to get to this point.
Kele found herself blushing and averting her gaze from Lyndal’s eyes as she brought up that maybe Kele would want to look for baby books. She had only just discovered that she was in fact pregnant, and hadn’t had a chance to tell her friend yet. Part of her was nervous of telling anyone besides Day and then having something happen to the baby. But she knew she couldn’t keep this from Lyndal. “ Actually maybe seeing if they have a copy of “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” wouldn’t be a bad idea…” She said, looking over and giving her friend a telling smile. “We just found out”
“I think I might stick to hot cocoa if we go out after, I’ll enjoy the smell of your coffee though, or maybe decaf…maybe I should look up what drinks are okay for me to have while we’re here” She said as she pulled into one of the parking spaces.

Lyndal was still in the process of learning to drive, something she was finding harder then she thought she would. Of course Nash was complimentary about the whole thing and had endless patience with her kangaroo hopping his truck around the Rez. With Nash at work and the limited public transport Lyndal was often trapped on the Rez. When she’d met Kele they were both in the same boat; imprintees and transport less. It was more then that too, she and Kele had hit it off immediately and were now almost as close as their boyfriends. It was their day trips and general hanging out that was making them closer. It took little persuading for Lyndal to convince Nash to let then use his truck for the day, she was slowly finding out that there was little Nash would refuse her. The one thing Nash was still refusing her was getting to be less and less of an issue the closer they got to the wedding.
It still scared Lyndal that she may, possibly, have to leave when the school year was up. Graduation was little over two months away and her visa last very little time after that, once her visa ran out so did her time with Nashal and the life she’d made in Washington. “I couldn’t bare to leave him, Kele.” Lyndal said, her voice cracking at the very thought of it. Been Nash’s wife and Travis step mother were things she thought about more and more with each passing day. Looking over to Kele she knew the other girl would understand the possibility of losing ones soul mate, she’s heard their story from Nash and then later, as she got to know Kele she’s shared her and Daylan’s struggles. “Yea the research is the top priority today. I told Nash we could go over it all tonight.” Lyndal said excited even thinking about seeing Nash in a few hours.
Lyndal listened as Kele spoke about books she saw her friend blush wondering how close she was to the mark with her joke about baby books. She suspected nothing, sure they were married but that didn’t mean either of them were jumping to start a family. Lyndal would soon be married and she knew she wanted to wait until she’d finished her college courses. “Oh Kele, I’m so happy for you. Does Nash know?” Lyndal asked wanting to hug her friend for her happy news. She knew Nash would probably already know, knowing there was little the boys kept from each other for long. “When are you due? Oh I’m so excited.” Lyndal could feel the excitement bubbling up. She was excited for her friend and couldn’t help wondering about her own future and having Nash’s child.
“We need to get you the book, and then you’ll know everything. Maybe we should buy it next time we go to Port Angeles?” Lyndal suggested thinking that would make a lot more sense. As the car slid into the parking space Lyndal unclicked her bet and slid from the truck holding her books close to her as she rushed to the front of the library. “You know, I think I might actually be getting used to the rain and been constantly damp.” She joked over the patter of the rain turning to hold the door for Kele.
“I’ll need the coffee. I have this huge American history test tomorrow and I want to spend time with Nash.” Lyndal said trying to remember the million other pieces of homework she had waiting for her. Following Kele into the heated library Lyndal shrugged off her hood and placed her returning books on the counter waiting for the library assistant. “So other then baby books, you need anything else?” She asked Kele then turned back to the girl who seemed to be beating the computer. “Maybe you should get a Maid of Honor hand book?” Lyndal smiled revealing her own secret.

Shiloh had almost forgotten that there were people in the library as she hit the computer. It was not her fault that the computer was slow after all. It only frustrated her more that the computer was taking such a long time to save the files that she had been updating. This was basically the reason why she was not tech savvy. Never did she have the patience to deal with this. She was very close to pulling out her hair by now when two women walked into the library.
Clearing her throat a bit, she straightened herself out and gave him a soft and friendly smile. A brow raising to the one mentioning something about beings a brides made. Well this only lightened up her mood. Since she had been here she had never even been on a date. Not only did she not have the money, but she never did have the time. Who was going to want to date someone like her anyway?
"Is there something that you are looking for in particular? I need to get my mind off of this computer, before I go mad. This thing is so slow a tortious would be faster than this."

"You won't have to" Kele assured her friend as she voiced her worry over having to leave her soulmate. Kele knew she'd never be able to leave Day like that. To move to another country. If she were told she had to go back to Panama where her mother was, she knew she'd refuse. She wouldnt be able to live without Day in her life. It still amazed her how strong of a bond this imprinting thing had.
"We'll do the research and get you books or photocopies or something so you can bring it back to Nash and you two can go over it. We'll have a plan of attack for you. Between the four of us, we'll make sure you can stay in this country"
Kele bit her lip lightly and gave a nervous yet obviously happy smile after letting her friend in on her pregnancy secret. She had no idea how she'd react, whether she'd think they were moving too quickly, or think that they were too young or just be happy for them. It was the same uncertainty that she had when she told Daylan, not knowing how he'd feel about it. But as soon as she saw her friends face, she knew Lyndal was happy for her and her own smile widened. "I dont know if Day's seen Nash since we found out, and I still need to make an appointment at the clinic to find out exactly when I'm due but I'm guessing about 7 1/2 or 8 months from now"
Kele nodded as Lyndal suggested they buy the baby book for her on their next trip to Port Angeles. "That's probably a good idea, I dont think the library would let me borrow it for 9 months straight" She said with a laugh. "Maybe you'll be wanting to look for a wedding dress while we're there"
"Maybe you should've brought your history book with you to do your studying while we get the coffee, I dont know how you get any studying done around Nash, I dont think I'd get any done with Day home" She told her honestly as they walked further into the library. "Nothing else I really need..." She started to say then realized what Lyndal had said about the maid of honor book. Her jaw dropped then turned into a smile. "You really want me to be your maid of honor!? Lyndal, I'd be so honored! " She said hugging the other girl before letting go and turning to the girl who worked at the library.
"Hi! Yes we could use some help finding some things if you're not busy with the computer...we're looking for information on visas and marriage lisences" She told her.

Reassurance was a great thing and the support of her friends helped give Lyndal that, but a part of her still worried that in a few short months she would have to leave Nashal. Even the very thought of it made her heart ache. Dal couldn’t imagine going a day without seeing him, the idea of leaving him to return to another country would kill her she knew it. “I worry too much I know, but I love Nash so much.” Lyndal knew Kele would understand the depth and strength of the love she had for Nash knowing her friend shared it with her husband Daylan.
Lyndal couldn’t help but smile at her friend as she spoke so firmly and positively, it felt good to know her and Nash weren’t alone in all they were doing. With his aunt and uncle frowning on their love it was easy to feel down and despondent about their love and relationship. “Thanks Kele, its all so hard but I know with yours and Day’s help we’ll have no worries.” She beamed at her friend, “I’m not sure where I’d be without you.” She said truthfully, her friend was such a rock in her life.
Excitement, surprise and joy filled Lyndal’s heart as Kele shared her news with her. She knew the love Kele and her soul mate Daylan shared and she knew they would be amazing parents, after all she knew they’d been through Dal saw it as a reward for them. As Lyndal smiled she couldn’t help wondering if she and Nash would have children, it wasn’t a subject they’d really spoken about but hearing Kele’s news Lyndal knew she would want to one day be in her friend’s situation. “Maybe he’ll be telling Nash right now.” Lyndal smiled at the coincidence and at the thought and mention of her own soul mate, an ache of longing pulled at her making her need to see him; it was a constant feeling whenever they were apart. “You should do that right away. I’m sure my brother knows a good baby doctor in town, maybe even on the Rez.” Lyndal said positively while making a mental note to call and talk to her brother about it.
Laughing along with Kele Lyndal followed her into the library. “Yea long term rental might be a snag, I reckon. As for the dress I don’t know. I’m thinking something casual, I’m not even sure where we’re having it.” Lyndal said, she and Nash still had so much to sort out. Time and money were their biggest factors and they didn’t have a lot of either.
Turning her head and eyes to the grounded Lyndal felt guilty, the truth was she wasn’t getting any studying done. All her free time at home was spent with Nash and Travis, even after the talks her and Nash had had her grades were still not what they had been back in Australia. “That’s the thing, I can’t study when Nash is home. I always want to be with him and I just forget my homework. Don’t tell Nash, he’s already spoken to me enough about my grades and if Laurie finds out I’ll have both of them on at me.” Lyndal looked up at Kele, “I’m trying, really I am.” She said feeling more like a child then a girl a few months away from marriage.
Lyndal watched as her invitation for Kele to be her maid of Honor sank in, she smiled and hugged her friend back. “There’s no one else I want beside me.” She smiled. Kele was her closest friend and her confidant, Dal couldn’t think of anyone else she would rather have. “So long as its not too much work, what with the baby and all.” Lyndal said not want to put pressure on her friend with everything.
“G’day. We need baby books too.” Lyndal smiled and added to the things Kele asked the girl behind the counter about. “Computer trouble? Technology is dud.” Lyndal said her words dripped with their Australian accent

Shiloh looked between the two girls a friendly smile upon her face. "Okay so baby books and ones about marriage licenses." She looked down at the computer again and let out an irritated sigh. "Yeah you can say that again," she said looking to Lyndal. "I'm not very computer savvy either, so that does not really help. I mean I am taking a computer class in school but that can only help you out so much in the real world."
She tried to type the catagories into the computer again only for it to freeze once more. "Okay I think it would be just quicker to show you guys where to find them." She slowly stepped out from behind the counter. "Follow me please," she said softly before she lead the way to different parts of the library. There was a small reading group for children going on, one of the librarians was reading a story to them.
"Okay over here we have baby books, and then I think five isles down we have legal." She smirked. "If you want my opinion, I think they can not deport you if you are married. But they will want to make sure that the marriage is real and not just a cover up for you to stay in the country."

"I know you do" Kele said understanding the kind of love that Lyndal felt for Nash, it was what she felt for Day and she knew she'd never be able to leave him. "There's no way any of us are going to let you get sent back to another country, you're stuck becoming an American" She said with a smirk. "And you never have to worry about where you'd be without us cause we're here for life too. "
Seeing Lyndal's excitement for her over her news made Kele feel that initial excitement all over again. "I wouldnt be surprised if he was telling Nash now too" She said wishing she could see Daylan sharing the news, loving to see him happy. "Yeah, if your brother knows anyone good, that would be great, I havent really seen anyone since I moved here so I could use a referral"
Kele smiled as Lyndal explained she was thinking of a casual wedding but wasn't sure where she'd have it yet. "Well as soon as we get this legal stuff out of the way, we need to get started on planning this thing!" She said. Part of her was a little disappointed at the way that her and Day ended up getting married. She didn't get to plan anything elegant, or invite friends and family, they did it in secret, trying to hide what they were doing from everyone else when it was supposed to be the happiest day of her life. She didnt regret doing it, she loved Daylan with all her heart and was happy to be his wife under any circumstances, but now helping Lyndal plan her wedding, Kele thought she could live through her a little bit with the wedding experience.
"If you need to study more you should come over, or we can come back to the library, just to get you someplace you can focus more. I know I woudlnt be able to do it with Day around" She said understandingly.
Kele smiled back at her and shook her head as she asked if the maid of honor duties would be too much given the baby now. "Not at all, I'm glad to do it, i just hope I wont be showing too much in your wedding pictures"
Kele turned her attention to the girl who had been working at the computer as she acknowleged the books they were looking for. "Great thanks!" She said as the woman offered to show them to the area where the books are. " Oh her marriage is definitely going to be real, its more the opposite with her, she wants to stay in the country to be with this guy and marry him, not the other way around"

With Kele Lyndal felt she’d found someone who truly understood how she felt about Nash because she knew Kele felt the same about Daylan. Dal smiled at the idea of becoming an American, it was the first time she’d realized that would be the result, all she’d thought about before was becoming Nash’s wife. “Thank you.” Lyndal said with a bright smile glad to have a friend like Kele. “I guess I’ll just have to put up with been a yank.” She laughed jokingly.
It was true and highly likely that Day was sharing the same news with Nash. Lyndal wondered what his reaction would be. Hearing the news made Lyndal wonder a lot of things and she realized she’d like a child too, Nash’s child. “Ya for sure Laurie will be able to recommend someone.” Lyndal said smiling and making a mental note to talk to Laurie about Kele. “We’ll get you right.” She nodded excited to help her friend with such a huge thing.
Lyndal knew how Kele and Day had been married, rushed and quiet, it was something she’d have wanted with Nash, but she knew Kele would never let her get away with that. “I don’t know anything of what I want. I think I’m more caught up with the end result then all the other who har.” She smiled glad that Kele would be helping even though it was something a mother would help with, but Dal knew her mother wouldn’t understand the rush or Dal’s need to be with Nash. “Maybe I’ll just leave it all to you. Or let the boys plan it. ” She winked jokingly.
The thing was Lyndal couldn’t study with Nash around even if he didn’t do anything but be in the house, it was getting to be an issue. On the other hand she didn’t want to spend any more time away from Nash then she already did. “Thanks, at the moment I’m just keeping my grades away from him.” She said feeling guilty for doing that as much as she was for failing classes. “Maybe I need to study at your place.” She nodded reluctant to put that into effect.
“Whether your showing or not you’ll look beautiful.” Lyndal smiled knowing they didn’t have long to wait till the big day so it was unlikely she’d be much bigger. “Thank you. I wouldn’t want anyone else.” She said honestly.
Dal smiled politely as the desk assistant spoke on marriage, she knew other married for green cards but that wasn’t her reason. Lyndal loved Nash with all she had and was. She was thankful Kele spoke for her and she nodded in agreement. “My marriage is the real thing, fair dinkum.” She said letting her accent as well as emotion fill her words.”

Kele laughed as Lyndal spoke of having to put up with being a Yank. "It's not so bad, at least you're in good company" She said with a smile. She knew that Lyndal would do anything to stay with Nash, just like Kele would have to stay with Daylan. Changing nationalities was minor comparing to getting to stay together.
"Thanks Lyndal" Kele said as her friend assured her they'd find her a good doctor. She knew that Lyndal's brother would be a good start, bound to know someone at the hospital. She smiled as she listened to Lyndal say how she didnt even know what she wanted for the wedding. "You never want to let the boys plan anything, they're great but its not their strength, you and I will make it your dream wedding"
Kele frowned slightly as Lyndal mentioned her grades and keeping them away from Nash. "You know he's going to find out..." She said softly. "But of course you can always come study at our place if its easier."
"Really its my honor to do it" Kele said as Lyndal told her how she wouldnt want anyone else as maid of honor, even if Kele was showing by the wedding.
Kele smiled as Lyndal explained to the library worker how her marriage was real. "Its true, they're the cutest couple too. No way anyone could doubt they were in love" She told the girl.

OOC: Shiloh; feel free to jump back in at any time
Laughing along with Kele Lyndal knew she’d never feel out of place with the friends she’d made in her short time on the Rez. Having her brother and his fiancée close was great, but her friends really made it all the better. “Yea, I’d be lost without you so I know I’m in good company.” She smiled brightly at Kele. “Its nice to have someone to share all the wolf things with.” She said dropping her voice and glancing around knowing it was a important secret.
“No worries. Laurie’s great with all the doctory stuff.” She smiled thinking of her brother and reminding herself to call him later, she wanted to see him soon. “Though I’m not sure you’d want him delivering the baby..” She shuddered at the though and laughed a little feeling grossed out by her brother roll in any delivery.
Lyndal nodded and smiled. “Its already a dream, I have Nash. I could get married in jeans in the middle of a rain storm and it would still be perfect.” She smiled again at her honesty knowing she didn’t care what happened with the wedding so long as she walked away his wife, but she knew to humor Kele knowing her wedding had been a secret affair. “But I’d like to have a few fairy tale bits.” She giggled thinking it would be fun to be the blushing bride, she had the purity thing that was for sure.
“I know, I know. That’s what scares me, he’ll be mad I know that. So will Laurie if he finds out too. Its not that I can’t do the work, I honestly don’t want to do anything that takes my time from been with Nash and Travis.” She gushed missing both of them terribly as she spoke their names. “Maybe you’re right. I’ll give it a try this weekend for a few hours if that’s ok?” She asked vowing to herself that she would study over the coming weekend.
It would be perfect with Kele as her maid of honor and Laurie giving her away. Lyndal doubted her parents would come and she wasn’t even sure if she wanted them there, She wanted Laurie to have that honor. “Thank you.” She smiled. “I want Laurie to give me away, and Travis to be a ring bearer.” She said realizing maybe she’d though more about it then she thought she had.
Trying not to blush at Kele’s compliment of herself and Nash Lyndal just smiled. “I guess the rez is full of true love.” She said offering Kele a knowing look. “Now it just needs to be legal. What if it takes too long, Kele? Or he changes his mind….or the feelings were wrong?” She asked letting the shadow of worry cross her mind for a split second and the words tumbling out. Lyndal censored her words for fear the clerk would over hear, but she didn’t care if she heard her worries.
