Nash smiled as she returned his feelings, expressing how she couldn't imagine not being with him. "I wouldnt want to imagine that" He said seeing her nervous smile wanting her to know he felt exactly the same way and probably stronger.
Nash nodded as she agreed they should try to be alone more and also spend time alone with Travis. "I'd like that, very much" He told her. It meant so much to him to see how accepting she was of his son. Before Lyndal, Travis was his world, now they both were and he knew if she had made him choose, his heart would have been torn in two.
Nash wondered if Dal had any idea that their conversation was actually about real creatures, and that one of them was sitting in this room. He couldnt stop himself from wondering how she'd react when she found out and if she'd ever look at him the same way again. He laughed lightly as she told him he watched too many sci fi shows since he was starting to believe it all "Yeah, maybe"
"I guess every culture has its folklore, no matter where it is. The truth mixed in with the tall tales and legends" He told her. He then smiled as she told him she wouldnt have nightmares with him in the next room. "If you do have any, just come over and I'll reassure you that you're safe" He told her, hoping that didnt sound too forward since she had already come to his room in the middle of the night before. He wished he was brave enough to just ask her to start out there.

Her heart felt fit to burst that someone as amazing and handsome as Nash could feel for her what she felt for him. Lyndal wanted to pinch herself, but knew that would give away her age and the intense crush she had on him; though it was far more then a crush now. “You know, Nash.” She stammered wanting to say more then she felt confident saying. It wasn’t that she doubted her feeling she was just afraid of his reaction to them. “I, erm..you know I really, really like you.” She said instantly wishing she could take back the second really that made her feel like a child far younger then she was.
“I think he’s a great nipper.” She smiled thinking about Travis for a moment and missing him from the house. He was always running around and creating mess and noise. It hurt Lyndal when he had distanced himself from her, but since his little fall on the way to the beach she felt a lot closer to him. “We should do something all together tomorrow. “ she said happy to feel comfortable suggesting a group activity with the man she loved and his child.
Laughing brightly she turned to him and smiled. “Maybe we should change what you watch.” she joked not thinking for a second that anything they were discussing could even border on existing.
“Well I’ll scream if I have nightmares. I know you’ll be there to protect me.” She smiled as she moved closer to him resting her head against his shoulder and he hand under her chin. Lyndal always felt so complete and comfortable close to Nash, even if they were supposed to be keeping a distance after been caught. She stifled a yawn before talking again. “Maybe you should just sleep in my room and save the trip when I scream.” she said nervously letting a giggle out with her words hoping he’d treat it as a joke if she was been to forward, but they’d shared a bed before even if it was just a morning thing.

Nash always listened to her as Lyndal spoke but now more than ever he was attentive as she spoke about her feelings. She was stammering a bit but he didnt care, his heart beat erratically to hear her say that she really really liked him. He couldnt keep the smile off his face, but just tried to keep it from looking too huge and out of place. "Dal...I really, really like you too" He told her, knowing that for him it was more than like. He loved her. His heart and soul belonged to her.
His smile turned sweeter as she called his son a great nipper. She was so adorable with the way she talked and he loved how great she was with Travis. "I think thats a great idea...we could maybe all go to the beach or into town" He suggested, trying to think of something that both Lyndal and his son would enjoy.
Nash just gave her a light smile as she suggested he needed to change what he watched. He knew that his beliefs in the things that belonged in science fiction movies, had nothing to do with what he watched on tv or read in any books. It as all far too real for him. He wondered how she would feel knowing she was in the same room as a werewolf.
He nodded as she said how she would scream if she had nightmares but knew he'd be there to protect her "In an instant'" He confirmed. He could feel his heart racing again as she suggested he sleep in her room to save the trip to her room. Her giggle that followed made him wonder if this was all just a joke he should be laughing at or if it was really an offer. He knew that if she was joking and he took it seriously, she could see him as a sleaze who was trying to get into her bed, but if she was serious he didnt want to turn her down when being near her was what he wanted most. He gave a light laugh of his own, hoping he'd be able to brush it off if she was only joking. "Yeah, that could save some time...I wouldnt mind"

Lyndal could see the smile on Nash’s face as she spoke to nervously of her feelings for him and she smiled back. When he spoke using the nickname he’d given her she felt her heart race like crazy and her cheeks flushed. “Maybe I more then like you….” She said carefully, nervously and quietly turning her eyes from him feeling like a child to the man she was certainly in love with.
“Or we could just veg out here at home and watch movies with snacks. When it would rain we’d do that at home. My brother and I would make dens and watch movies from inside.” Dal said with a smile as she thought about Laurie then thought about the three of them hiding away in a fort for the day watching movies like a little family. “But I bet Travis would like anything with the three of us.” She smiled.
As the conversation drifted in to the mythical and fantastical Lyndal wondered where it was going to end up. She wondered what Nash was hinting at or trying to share, at the very least she wondered if he was hinting at a supernatural fascination or mythical degree. She had no clue what he was really trying to tell her.
Offering him a place in her bed Lyndal had never been more serious in her life, she was ready to share her bed, life and heart with Nash even if for now it was nothing more then been held like they did on weekend mornings. Her giggle was to cover up incase he didn’t think of her like that. As he laughed himself then spoke Dal turned to look at him. “I wouldn’t mind either, in fact I’d like that. A lot.” She said seriously looking into his amazing eyes suddenly feeling less nervous and self conscious. “No ones home…”

Nash began wondering if he was dreaming as she spoke of maybe more than liking her. He knew he should come right out and tell her everything about how he felt, but he was too scared it wasnt the right time, even with her admission. "I do too...as more than just a friend" Nash told her honestly.
Nash listened to her idea of staying home and making a fort to watch movies in and loved it even more. "I think that sounds like lots of fun. We should do that, I'm sure he'd love it" Nash said knowing he'd enjoy being in a small enclosed area with Lyndal. The three of them together warmed his heart. It was how he had always imagined life should be. Him, the woman he loved and his child. Though in his earlier dreams he thought it would be their child.
Talking about spending the night in Lyndal's bed from the start was new for them. While they'd spent time in each others beds before, it was always sneaking in late at night or early mornings for chats or hugs. Now it would be planned, an entire night with her in his arms. He was grateful when she seemed serious about the idea. "I'd like it a lot too" He admitted to her. "We do have the house to ourselves" He just hoped she knew he wouldnt expect anything from her, even with no one being home. He was still going to respect her and be a gentleman.

More then a friend was exactly how Lyndal thought of Nash. She knew she loved him and not as a friend or brother figure, but as a woman should love a man. Looking up at him, knowing her face was probably red from the confessions they were both making Lyndal smiled and spoke, “I like you as more then a friend too, maybe even a boyfriend?” She question the word but knew it was true on her heart she just didn’t want to sound too childish to the man he was.
Building a fort and climbing inside of it with Travis and Nash sounded great to Lyndal, she hadn’t realized she craved that family surrounding til she met Nash and his son. She knew she was young, but she knew she was ready to step into their lives and take on the role of mother figure, even if figure was all she’d be. “I’d like it too, just the three of us.” She smiled wondering if it sounded too much too soon?
Never before had Lyndal wanted to share her bed with a man so much as she did with Nash right then. She knew what could happen, but she wasn’t worried she knew Nash would never push her to more then she was ready. Having the house to themselves eased her worry of been caught and thrown out, having to explain to Laurie was not a good thing. “Stay with me tonight?” Lyndal asked quietly as she untucked her legs from beneath her and stood holding her hand out to him. The movie was finished and she was feeling tired, but more then that she wanted to do it before either of them changed their minds. “Lets go to bed?”

As Lyndal confirmed that she too liked him as more than a friend, it was exciting but scary at the same time. He wanted to encourage her to go with the thought of him as a boyfriend, wanting to be that and more to her, but also worried about what that would do within the household. He didnt want to cause problems with her and his aunt and uncle. He didnt think they'd ever allow them to openly date and he wondered if it would just hurt her more to try to keep it secret. "Yeah...kinda like that" He said softly, hoping he was doing the right thing.
Nash smiled at the thought of the three of them playing in the living room some day, building a fort together and hiding out. "Just the three of us...that'd be nice" He agreed with her. Being with Lyndal and Travis was the only thing Nash needed in life. He knew he could do without anything else in the world but them.
Nash was worried about how she might interpret the idea of them sharing a bed. He didnt want her to think in the morning that he had tried to take advantage of her, and he didnt want her to think she needed to do anything just because they were sharing a bed. He nodded as she asked him to stay with her, surprised as she got up and openly offered out her hand, suggesting they go to bed. He reached up and took her hand as he stood. "I want to fall asleep beside you, and wake up with you being the first thing I see"

Kinda liking it wasn’t really what Lyndal was hoping for, but she knew they had a lot to risk if they attemped anything more while still under his aunt and uncle’s roof. Nash had a lot more to lose then Lyndal did and she understood his nervousness on admitting more consoling herself with the fact he hadn’t laughed at her, but actually seemed to like the idea. “I like it too.” She smiled agreeing with him. “I know none of what we feel is easy with the situation and all, but I wanted to tell you what I feel.” she explained as best she could trying to show her support.
Just the three of them was something Lyndal was starting to want more and more, she knew if they were out of his aunt and uncle’s place then they wouldn’t have to be so worried what they felt. She also knew it would be hard to live just the three of them on only Nash’s wages. “Yea it will be nice.” She smiled thinking positive that it would one day happen.
As Nash took her hand Dal smiled at him then felt her heart race at his words. “I want that too and i know i'll be safe with you.” Lyndal said stepping closer to him as they stood together, she meant more then just the horror movie and myth monsters they'd talked about. Her heart was racing and she was filled with nervousness, but she also knew it was what she wanted. In that want was a need for her own truth, “I’ve never done this or anything even close to it with any other guy, but I want to wake up with you.” she blushed, but wanted him to know just how big a deal it was for her even if nothing happened.

Nash smiled back at the woman he loved as she said how she liked it too. She was more straightforward than he was, admitting the difficulties there were between them. He knew that he would risk everything, including getting kicked out of the house, if it was what she wanted to have a more open relationship. He'd do anything for her. "I'm glad you told me, and I want you to know I feel the same way...even if the situation makes it a little hard, that doesnt mean I want to deny how I feel for you"
The more that Nash thought of the three of them playing together, the more it seemed like the perfect little family. In his mind it wasn't his aunt and uncle's house they were in but their own, and it wasn't just a planned thing, but a normal saturday morning for the three of them playing together when they were all home. He wondered if he'd ever have that life. He knew they were meant to be together, the imprinting told him that, but he wasn't sure their situations would ever let it happen.
Just having her hand in his Nash felt the completion of himself with her touch. He felt a rush of warmth as she told him she knew she was safe with him. "You are, always" He confirmed to her, knowing he'd lay down his life for her. He listened to her explain how she'd never done anything like this with any other guy. He wished he could say the same, but knew it would be a lie and she'd know it. Travis was proof he couldnt deny never having layed with another woman. He instead put his arms around her. "I want that too, and we've ended up in each other's bed before, we're just saving the mid-night trip" He told her, hoping to take a little bit of the pressure and nervousness off of the situation for her.

Hearing all the words made Lyndal’s heart fit to burst, she’d wanted to hear and say these words since she’d first met Nash and now they were finally be open and honest. “I don’t want to deny how I feel for you either, but we can’t risk the home with both have hear especially for Travis’ sake.” She told him hoping he’d realize that they may have to hide it or at least not flaunt it. “I can’t believe I’m finally telling you these things, it feels like I’ve been keeping them locked up forever.” She said letting her words spill over with a smile.
There was no doubt in Lyndal’s mind that she was always safe with Nash, never for a moment not even when they first met. Nor did she ever feel pressured of uncomfortable with him, infact it was the opposite he was her other half when she was with him she felt whole. Even now talking about sharing a bed with him she still felt comfortable if a little shy at admitting her virginity to a guy she knew wasn’t, but she didn’t hold that against him and it didn’t change how she felt for him.
Relaxing into his arms as he held her Dal wrapped her own arms around him listening to his words. “Yea makes more sense to do it this way, especially while were alone. I’m on, I want this.” she said pulling back to look up at him and smile. Stepping away from him Lyndal pushed the switch on the TV plunging the room into darkness, with her hands out she groped her way back to him. “Lets go to bed before the monsters get us.” she laughed as she tried to find him in the darkness.

Nash nodded as she said how she felt the same way but that they couldnt risk others finding out, for Travis' sake. "I know...and you're right" He admitted, feeling embarrassed that this had to be true. He knew if he were really mature enough he'd have his own place for him and his son, so that it wouldnt matter if he dated Lyndal out in public. His aunt and uncle couldnt stop them or punish them for it. If they found out now, it was a good possibility he would have to find a place for him and his son to live. "I know, I've wanted to tell you pretty much since we met" He admitted.
Nash was surprised that Lyndal had never experienced something like this before. Not that he thought she was that type of girl, but he had assumed someone as pretty as her had probably had a few boyfriends back home and would have at least shared a bed (if nothing more) with one of them. His heart raced with joy knowing that he was the first.
"I want this too" Nash said quietly, trying his best not to be too suggestive, though his imagination was running away with his male driven fantasy thoughts that he tried to control. He waited as she stepped away to turn off the tv then came back to him. He reached out and put an arm around her, pulling her close and laughing as she mentioned the monsters getting her. "Maybe one's got you right now" He joked, grabbing her arm lightly, before rubbing it gently.

Lyndal didn’t care that Nash lived with his uncle, she wouldn’t care if he lived in a box, she loved him no matter what. Hearing Nash confess how long he’d wanted to tell her his feelings convinced Lyndal they’d both felt it at the same time. “I felt something the moment we met too. Do you believe in love at first sight? Or is that just too darkish?” she laughed covering it up if he did think it darkish when in fact she knew that’s what she’d felt for him.
She could have lied about her experience, or lack there of, and Dal wondered if he thought she was lying or if he could see the truth in her nerves. She’d never wanted to share a bed with anyone, not even to just be held, but with Nash she wanted it all. A part of her was jealous of the other woman, Travis’ mother, who had had him before. Even though she was jealous she wouldn’t change that if it meant not having Travis with them, though she did still hope to have their own one day.
He was a guy, and Lyndal knew what guys generally expected from girls they shared beds with, but she wasn’t afraid of Nash pushing for that. Though she was afraid of them both giving into that urge and passion.
Joking about monsters Dal laughed and squealed as Nash pulled her back to him in the dark as he rubbed her arm she laughed. “You’re no monster, but after all that talk of ones outside I’m thinking we should maybe sleep with a light on.” She laughed taking a step towards her bedroom assuming they’d sleep there rather then his shared room. “What do your tribes stories really say about all the stuff we were talking about?” She asked as they walked in the dark.

Nash felt the love building inside of him as she confirmed that she had felt something that night they met too. He had thought they had both felt it, when they had their talk in his truck on the ride home, but it was hard to be sure it wasn't just her being friendly. Now he knew she had felt it as strongly as he had. "I dont know if I used to believe in love at first sight, but I do since meeting you...that sounds cheesey doesnt it?" He said with a light laugh.
Nash hoped he was doing the right thing by spending the night in her room. He didnt want to make her uncomfortable, or give the wrong impression. He wondered if he was being too selfish in going, even though she had seemed just as interested. Should he have been stronger and done what she might think to be the right thing in the morning?
Nash wondered if she'd still think he wasnt a monster if she knew what he turned into. Werewolves were the monsters in movies, why wouldnt she think that of him? "The light might attract the monsters" He told her laughing as they walked towards her room. "The legends say that all that stuff is real, but that we have protectors from it all, so we're safe "

“No not cheesy, its exactly how I felt too. I’ve never even been in love, but when I met you I think I finally figured out what love was.” She lightly laughed and smiled feeling free for the first time since arriving knowing she wasn’t just imagining the feelings he was giving off, they were both in love. “Geez I’m sorry that probably sounds really hard core. I’m not trying to pressure you, I’m just admitting my feelings.” she excused herself in case he wasn’t admitting his love for her as she had just done to him in a round about way.
Sharing her bed with Nash was making her heart soar, she wanted to fall asleep in his arms and wake up there. She knew if she did it once she’d always want it and that was her only problem, could she sleep alone again with him just next door?
Nash wondered if she'd still think he wasnt a monster if she knew what he turned into. Werewolves were the monsters in movies, why wouldnt she think that of him? "The light might attract the monsters" He told her laughing as they walked towards her room. "The legends say that all that stuff is real, but that we have protectors from it all, so we're safe
Lyndal laughed back, he was right the monsters might be drawn to the light. “Well then I guess we’re sleeping in the dark then.” she stated with a finality on the light subject. Moving into her room she listened to his words about the legends. “Protectors, who? And from what? You mean warriors protecting us from all that horror movie stuff?” She asked sitting on her bed and looking at him.

Nash smiled as she spoke his own feelings about figuring out what love was. "A little hard core but I feel the same, and I want you to admit your feelings to me....I thought that I was in love when I was younger, but knowing what I feel now, and what I felt the first time we met, I know that this is the real thing and that I've never experienced anything stronger, and never will again" Nash told her, hoping it wasnt too much for her. Admitting you loved something was one thing, but admitting you'd never feel this way about someone else other than them was another.
Nash laughed as she made the decision to sleep in the dark. He would have slept with either just to be near her. "I can bring in Travis' night light if you want" He offered. They moved into her room and he already felt himself getting nervous as they neared the bed not wanting to mess things up.
"Just the stuff we were talking about earlier...you know protecting the tribe from vampires..or the cold ones as the legends call them" Nash told her. "Our bloodline makes us the protectors. Kinda like warriors I guess"
