Character Basics
Name: Caresse-Tazanna Wawa Moytoy-Yakonan
Nickname: Carrie, Essy, Taz, Annie, Mai Tai
Age: 19
Appearance
Looks: Caresse is quite short compared to most of her friends, at only 5’5”, and has a small frame to match. Despite her somewhat girly looks, sweet smile and soft green eyes, Caresse more than lives up to her nickname, Taz, when she wants to, virtually living in casual clothes and only dressing up when forced to. Although she can often be, rather aptly, described as lanky, she is surprisingly strong for her size. She has long, dark hair reaching most of the way down her back, which she usually wears loose.
Scars, tattoos, other marks: none
Portrayed by: (may include photo here)
Megan Fox
Personality and Stats
Basic Personality: Caresse is a tomboy, pure and simple, most of the time. Being an only child of an incredibly feminist mother and a father who had expected a boy, it isn’t surprising that she somewhat lacks the prissy nature of most girls her age. A lot of people tend to think of Caresse as a little crazy, since she will do pretty much anything once, the more outrageous the better, though once people get to know her, it’s obvious that she knows her limits and sticks to them. She has a big mouth, and tends to get her foot stuck in it at times, a constant source of embarrassment to her. She does have a softer side, when she allows people to see it, and although she doesn’t let on, she loves to look after people, especially her parents, who she dotes on.
Although a loud person, Caresse does have a bit of a weakness for reading, and likes to spend time on the beach painting, one of her many hobbies.
Species: Human
Abilities: painting, playing various instruments ‘a little’, singing, cooking, gymnastics
Occupation: student, carer
Car: to be decided
History:
Birthplace: La Push Quileute Reservation
Family: Mother – Topanga Yakonan, Father- Kele Moytoy
Friends: Matilda and Leo Stone (later)
History: Caresse was born and raised on the Quileute reservation at La Push, a typical teenager with typical parenty parents. Topanga and Kele were always the type to want to get their way, and when Caresse was born, she became the victim of their stubborn natures, ending up with a name to make anyone cringe, especially once her parents married and her mother, ever the feminist, decided it was essential she keep her maiden name. Now, Caresse insists on being called by any of her many nicknames, anything to avoid being considered girly.
Because of her loud nature, Caresse has yet to find a boyfriend, something that rarely bothers her as she tends to be more concerned with making sure her friends’ relationships go smoothly than with finding someone for herself, though she does have times when, in secret, she daydreams about finding someone who will like her for her.
At age 14, while at a sleepover, she received a call to say that her mother had been in a car accident. Told not to worry, she spent the next few weeks visiting her mother in hospital and in convalescent homes, thinking everything was gradually getting back to normal. Once her mother returned home, however, she found out that Topanga was permanently disabled, something Caresse had not been told before. Now, she acts as a carer for Topanga, making sure her every need is catered for. The behaviour automatically carries over to her father and friends so that, in a sense, she acts as a mother to everyone she cares about. The most accurate description would be that she is like the tribal totem, a wolf, fiercely protective of her friends and family, with a temper no one likes to get on the bad side of.
She attends La Push High School and tends to stand out from the crowd, more in the literal sense than figurative, avoiding fitting in and preferring to be her own girl. She is the school’s unofficial welcome wagon, having an almost unsettling habit of immediately gravitating toward whoever’s new to greet them.
