Character Basics
Name: Christian Nathanial Pitt
Nickname: Changes his name for everyone he meets
Age: 43 in appearance, turned on 13th October 1913
Appearance
Looks: Older than your average vampire, if it wasn’t for his unhinged nature, he would have the looks of a refined middle aged man, with an attractive rugged charm. He still has the ability to pull it off when he chooses to, though it does serve to make him look rather imposing and creepy. He is a man of average height and build; his eyes are a shining crimson most of the time, as he can’t resist a good feed. His hair is an inky black in colour with a slightly receded hairline. He still has the wrinkles of middle age, etched further with the long exposure to coal dust that subsumed him for almost five years.
Scars, tattoos, other marks: A slightly dusty look
Portrayed by: Anthony Stewart Head
Personality and Stats
Basic Personality: Before he was turned, Christian was pretty much a sound guy. He hadn’t the benefit of a full education, having left school at the age of thirteen, but he picked things up naturally. He was hard working and provided as well as he could for his family. However, almost five years on your own in the pitch dark as a newly made vampire will do things to peoples’ brains. Now he has a sadistic streak, enjoying making people suffer, especially on special occasions. He does have the capacity to love, well lust, but he prefers to hurt. He’s not a subtle person, though he has learnt how to cover his tracks adequately. However, despite his creepiness, his Welsh accent can make it quite difficult to take him seriously.
Species: Standard Vampire
Abilities: Pah, who needs abilities?
Occupation: Feeding
Car: He laughs in the face of machinery
History:
Birthplace: Senghenydd, Nr. Caerphilly, Wales
Family: None living

History: Christian’s human life was fairly ordinary for a working class man living in the small mining town of Senghenydd. Almost all the men in the town relied upon the large coal mines for work and it was only the mayor’s children that escaped the fate. Although it wasn’t exactly ideal, and didn’t fulfil Christian’s academic potential, he lived with it. As a human he married and had four boys, all but one of which already worked in the mine.
On one fateful day, 13th October 1913 to be precise, Christian and three of his boys went down the pits. Just after midday, Christian sent down towards the new seams, an area he didn’t know well. As he passed an outlet to the sewers, a stranger, moving too quickly for him to see, assaulted him, throwing him down to the rocky ground and biting him. Almost at the same moment, a loud explosion sounded from the pit’s opening and the vampire, distracted, made his escape back down into the sewers. Dazed and confused, Christian stumbled down towards the new seams, his breathing coming in short gasps as he inhaled the carbon monoxide and dust, as the mines collapsed and as his men died. That night four hundred and thirty eight men died. One became something else.
When Christian awoke as a vampire for the first time, it was to the pitch black. Vampiric eyesight may be good, but it needed some light to use. In the collapsed mines there wasn’t even a hint. The air was thick with dust and lack of oxygen. It stunk. Christian soon learnt to stop breathing altogether. All exits to the tunnels were collapsed in an, having run in a human daze; Christian had no way to find his way back to the surface. Time became inconsequential, the thirst in his throat raged at him and he slowly lost his sanity. He began to dig with his bare hands, upwards. It was almost five years later that he emerged, looking like a devil.
That night Christian learnt what it was to be a vampire, and for the first time in his life as a vampire, he enjoyed himself. He glutted himself at the mess hall of the new pit built just outside of the town. Then he went to his old family home and erased the last memories of his human existence – his wife and remaining son. After that Christian wandered, causing chaos and destruction wherever he went, though he always made it look like a human disaster – as an homage to what he went through.
