Character Basics
Name: Trent Adams
Nickname: Trent
Age: 33
Appearance
Looks: Trent is a tall, lean guy, in no way muscular, though what he lacks in physical strength and build, he makes up for in smarts. He has very large, brow eyes, headed by thick, expressive eyebrows. His nose is long and lean, like the rest of him, and his lips are quite thin. His hair is a brown in colour and is worn in a messy peak over his eyes, though he tends to mess it up when he is thinking or when he gets excited – it is extremely ruffleable.
Clothing-wise, Trent always dresses in a skinny, close-fitting suit, which is often pinstriped. He wears a long, dusty brown coat and often teams the combination with casual Converse sneakers. Though he doesn’t actually need them, he also wears a pair of square framed, tortoise shell glasses.
Scars, tattoos, other marks: Nope
Portrayed by: David Tennant
Personality and Stats
Basic Personality: Eccentricity is Trent’s middle name, combined with his natural smarts, makes him quite an unusual person and a unique teacher. For the most part he is a friendly guy, if a little odd. He isn’t afraid to hug all and sundry and his bright, goofy smile is almost perpetually on display. He tends to talk through his thought processes aloud and so often he can spend full minutes at a time talking absolute nonsense with a mania that can be a little disconcerting. He is deeply loyal, often intensely so when someone he loves is threatened. He is absolutely useless in a fight, hates guns and abhors violence of any kind. He loves to run everywhere. He tends to be an emotional man and isn’t ashamed of being so; he has been known to cry without shame.
Species: Human
Abilities: None
Occupation: Physics teacher at Forks High
Car: 1969 Oldsmobile 98. Hand painted green with a black vinyl roof.
History:
Birthplace: Greater London, UK
Family: Mother, Father, Will Adams (Little brother)
Friends: Sherri-Lynn Thompson
History: The Adams brothers had quite an ordinary London upbringing, when all was said and done; at least, as far as the eldest Adams was concerned it was. The parents were in a stable relationship up until Trent was 17 and by that point he had enough groundwork made up in class to sail his way to any college he wanted. Before this, however, his parents had decided to relocate as far away from the busy metropolis of London and hopped the ocean to a sleepy town called Forks.
From a very early age, it was clear that Trent was somewhat of a genius in his area, his quick brain making minced meat out of the standardised tests that he was given. He took to studying extra bits and pieces that he was interested in when bored in class and the teachers never called him up for it. They got fairly irritated when he went off on one of his characteristic tangents and displayed more knowledge than them, but it was nothing that they could pull him up for. When school finished he went straight to college, as everyone expected, majoring in straight Physics.
Due to his strong work ethic, Trent never really encountered much romantic love in college, just a few girls batting their eyelashes at the smart guy, but he was always too interested in whatever was down the microscope lens. He flew through the work at university; his brain enjoyably taxed and got invited to join a government think tank. He didn’t last long there, though, just a year, before he discovered the pressure to perform certain tasks was making him not enjoy himself anymore. Not shy of voicing his opinions, he soon disengaged himself from the job and went back to college to get his teaching diploma.
He then decided to come back to his swiftly adopted hometown of Forks, where he could keep an eye on his now aging parents and to see what his brother had gotten up to. Plus, he kind of always liked the school and enjoyed the idea of giving something back to it.
