He has the utmost respect for women and his elders, a trait brought on by having a lieutenant father, and his compassionate side from his mother who served as a nurse on the local base.

History:
Donathan was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to Malika, and Johnathan Stevens. His father was a lieutenant and was stationed there, when he fell in love with the Hawaiian native. As a kid the boy had dreams of becoming a doctor, saving lives and such but his fathers persistence moved him toward the path of becoming a fighter.
When Don was only twelve both his parents died in a car crash caused by a drunk driving tourist. His Aunt Tia took him in as her own, and when she moved to Florida to pursue her career as a animation designer for Walt Disney Studios, he reluctantly followed. He lived there for a short time before enlisting in the U.S. Military in hopes of regaining a closeness to his fallen father. He made it quickly up the ranks, before getting injured in combat in Iraq.
His left shoulder was left with scars from multiple surgeries to fix the wounds and once healed to the point where doctors could do no more he went back home to Hawaii to get the tribal tattoo for his mothers memory. It is no longer a severe injury, but he took It as a sign to move on with his life, to settle down and someday raise a family in a stable environment that he never had growing up.
