History: Victoria Hope Summers was born born on April 5th, 1640 in Orrery, Ireland to Dean and Brooklynn Summers. They were a young couple but they were no strangers to wealth, and when Victoria was three, her grandfather, John Summers, died of heart complications and bequeathed his vast nucleus of estates to his son, Dean. This made the family incredibly wealthy to be sure, and Victoria was brought up with every luxury a child could ask for. Their family controlled the entire northwest portion of Ireland along with the O’Donnells and the O’Dohertys. It was no wonder that Victoria grew to become a very vain and self-interested young woman, who always was given what she wanted, when she wanted, and had many servants at her beck and call. The few times that Victoria was taken into town, she would pinch her nose at the smells and was quite haughty to anyone who came near her. This gave her the reputation of being a rather spoiled child, but no one would ever dare to say that where she or her family could hear them, for the Boyles were extremely powerful.
While Victoria was pretty when she was little, although a little awkward, she grew into a graceful, beautiful young lady. When she was sixteen, there were suitors lined up at the doors of their vast estates, just waiting to take her hand in marriage. It was not uncommon during this time period to marry so young, for acquiring even more wealth was quite desirable. However, Victoria would have none of them for none suited what she wished to have. Victoria wanted someone who would dote on her, make every wish come true, but also have some sort of intelligence. She was quite smart, although she never flaunted it; her beauty was enough to win her what she wanted. Victoria went through numerous tutors, all getting sick and tired of her demands after a short while.
It took until Victoria was eighteen that she would finally meet the man of her dreams, Kyle O’Doherty. He was the son of one of the ruling families and came from a line of great wealth, although not quite as much as the Summers'. Kyle was set to marry another young woman from a decent family, but when his and Victoria’s parents had them meet, Victoria had her eye on the prize. She would make sure Kyle married her, and not the other girl who she thought wasn’t even close to being half as pretty as she. So Victoria manipulated Kyle into falling for her, managing to disgrace the other girl’s family enough that Kyle’s family wanted nothing to do with her. Victoria was quite pleased of her prize, and she and Kyle married not too long after courtship. As always, Victoria got what she wanted.
However, six months after their marriage, things began to take a turn for the worst. Victoria had gone to visit her friends for tea one afternoon and when she came home, she found Kyle in bed with another woman. She went into a rage and wound up killing both of them. Terrified at what she had just done, Victoria ran from the house, disappearing into the forests. She continued to run until she could run no longer, finally collapsing at the base of a large tree. A heavy rain began to fall but Victoria didn’t care as she lay there, crying, her body exhausted from the long run. The next thing that happened to her is still a blur and she remembers little, but what she does remember is a shadow of a man suddenly near her, and then an excruciating pain radiating from her neck downward through her entire body. She remembers screaming for the pain to stop, and eventually the intense pain began to fade and she looked at the world through very different eyes.
The man whom she had seen before the pain was no longer there and Victoria thought he must have left her for dead. However, her instinctive ability to stay alive had managed to prevent her from dying. Victoria wandered through the forest, not knowing what was going on, and didn’t know what this raging thirst inside her body was. She finally made it out of the forest and into unfamiliar land. Remaining in the shadows, she spotted a young couple sitting near the edge of the woods, having a picnic. Victoria felt her thirst increase and at first she thought it was due to the smell of food, but when she drew closer, she realized it was an altogether new scent, a delicious scent that seemed to come from the couple themselves. Without even thinking, she attacked. When the boy hit his head on a stone, the freely flowing blood instantly attracted her and she realized in horror what she wanted. However, the thirst for blood was too strong and she leapt upon him, draining him completely of blood. She killed the girl next, and the satisfaction that she felt from having the blood in her veins helped block the horror of what she had just done.
Victoria hunted down more humans including her former husband and lover (oh how she did love to hear them scream as she killed them), her thirst never seeming to be quenched, and it wasn’t until a young man named James found her that she learned what she was, for he too was just like her. He explained to her that she was a vampire and that most of the myths she had heard were in fact true. He was patient and kind to her, and soon her broken heart mended and she fell in love with him, as he fell for her. Together they hunted through the countryside and he taught her control. Years later they met Laurent, another vampire whom they took into James’ coven. The three of them made their way through Europe and eventually to the New Land.
It was there, many centuries later, that they would meet the Cullens, a coven of vegetarian vampires, and their human pet, Bella. James, always the tracker, saw the challenge in hunting down Bella, and Victoria, ever faithful, assisted him. Victoria was tricked into following the wrong scent of the human girl while her mate made his plans to kill the girl in her hometown. When James never returned, Victoria discovered that Edward Cullen, Bella’s mate, had killed her beloved James, Victoria turned to revenge. She would slowly torture and kill the human girl who, in her mind, was responsible for taking her love from her. After Laurent was killed, Victoria found herself alone, but not without a plan. She tried time after time to get to Bella, her actions thwarted by the werewolves that lived in La Push. When she realized that this would get her nowhere, Victoria retreated up to the city of Seattle, where she planned to create an army of newborns to take down the Cullens and kill the human girl once and for all
RP Sample:
The city of Seattle was quiet for once, although that silence was quickly broken by the sounds of sirens as police cars gave chase to a van of robbers, and fire trucks were sent to put out a large fire near a factory. However, despite these incidents, the humans went on living their lives, still completely obvious to what lurked in the shadows. Victoria stood at the window of the loft that she had acquired the day before, gazing out at the dirty streets below her. It was night and the streets were lit by barely-working streetlamps. Even as she watched, one bulb broke and cast a section of the streets into darkness. She preferred the darkness; it was much easier to move through, silent like a cat and a lethal killer.
A light rain began to fall but that didn’t faze her. She kept her hand at the window, holding back the ratty curtain that she supposed was to help keep the sunlight out, but it had too many holes to really do its job properly. The loft had formerly been owned by a rather fat man who ate far too much and lived a lonely life by himself and only his television to keep him company. She had dispatched him easily, draining him of every last drop of delicious blood, and had burned his body in one of the dumpsters in an alley on the far side of the city. Victoria then returned to the loft, cleaning it out of every piece of furniture. It was all disgusting and filthy anyways. She then purchased new furniture to fill the void, more or less just because she could. The loft now had a small round table, a couch, and a bed that she’d never sleep in. It helped keep up appearances should someone be unfortunate enough to see past her door. The other residents didn’t mind that the fat man was gone, and didn’t care where he had gone too, and that was enough for Victoria.
If she was to blend in with the humans, for now she would keep things on the low, and not draw too much attention. Besides, she didn’t want the Cullens to discover where she was, or those filthy dogs. Not until she was ready. Yes, she had plans for this city, and when she put them into action, the city would scream and blood would fill the streets. It would surely draw the Cullens, who would want to protect their precious land and filthy human girl, and then she would end them. An army of newborns…yes, they would be powerful enough to take down that coven that had caused her so much pain. But first, she would need someone to help control them, one she could manipulate into being their leader, and one who would follow her every command. She would find him, and then the horror would begin.
