History:
Noah was born the only child to Anna and Monte Carter in Port Angeles where he was raised. He was never overly popular in school and was always the kid who was a bit quiet and off in his own world. Early on his interest was much more oriented towards art, literature and music than it was towards science or math. He never had any desires to be a 9 to 5 job type guy. He spent many years learning how to paint, or writing poetry in his journal or learning to play songs on the violin from memory so he didn’t have to stare at sheet music. He did very well in school, doing independent studying in his own areas of interest, but knew that after high school he’d be done. College wasn’t meant for him.
After high school graduation, Noah worked odd jobs for the next few years to save up as much money as he could and formulate the plan for how he wanted to live his life. He worked in an art gallery during the day, and then had a night job in a Seattle’s Best. He saved as much as he could but knew that for what he had decided to do, he’d need more than any minimum wage jobs could pay.
With his love for the arts he knew that would be how he wanted to spend his days, even if it never made him rich. He decided to open up a coffee shop that would earn him enough revenue to support his love of painting, and he would attempt to sell the paintings on the side. He took out a small business loan, thanks to the good credit he had established while working 2 jobs, and found the cheapest nearby property he could, which ended up being in Forks as the rates in Port Angeles were much higher, being a busier city. He lives in the upper floor of the building he has bought as his coffee shop. He sells his paintings there and runs the shop on his own, only occasionally getting help from friends to deliver paintings since his scooter can’t hold them.
