Elaine smiled. "Oh that seems like fun maybe when I go down there one day you will have to help me out and take me surfing you know so I don't pick the wrong part of the beach."
She thought about it and realize she was spending a lot of time standing in the store talking to him and she did not mind. She liked doing it and wanted to keep at it. "Well I work down the road at the local diner. I'm a waitress at moment but they say if I do a good job on that I can go to being a cook. It okay working there. It gets rather lonely though not being able to just sit down and talk to people. Truth is I have talk to you more then I have talked to almost a single person the whole time I have been here." She had liked talking to him and really did not want to stop.

Embry knew exactly which diner Elaine was talking about. "Oh yea, my best friends Jacob and Quil and I go to that diner a lot, actually. Well, I mean obviously not in the last week or we would have met already. But I think they wanted to go soon anyway. Maybe we'll see you there." Jacob really liked the hamburgers there and Quil swore that their Dr. Pepper tasted different than anywhere else.
Embry noticed that they were in an entirely different isle. He grabbed a butter top bread.

Elaine looked at him as she was through with her things she needed. "so you have everything you need If so we can go and pay. Then you can come over I guess. I would love to talk to you more though." Elaine started to walk to the check out line and smiled at him waiting.
"I bet if you show up at the dinner I will be there. I always am." She thought she was suppose to work the breakfast shift tomorrow so that was how much she was there.

Embry checked his items and realized that he'd picked up more things than he'd originally come for. He had more than enough money, but it kind of made him feel like his mom when she went to the store for 'one thing' and comes back with three bags full of stuff they suddenly needed when they were within her sights. But at least it wasn't like those times when she brought loads of stuff, but then later realized that she'd come back with what she was looking for in the first place. He grabbed his peanut butter and jelly jar and clutched it in slient triumph. "Yea, I think I'm ready," he told her, grinning.
He nodded at the girl's invitation to the diner. He was sure the guys would give him crap for telling them that he'd met a girl who worked at the diner, and that that was why they were going back so soon. But Elaine seemed cool and he was sure his friends would get along with her. "Yea, sounds like a plan," he told her. "I think some of us are itching to get off the rez, so we might stop by soon."

Elaine looked at him and nods smiling. She thought this guy was rather cool and wanted to get to know him. "well that is great. I would love to have people I know once and a while come by. Note to self though I work every day but Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you go there those days you will not find me."
Elaine was now putting her bags in the basket. She was going to make some home made chili tonight and have cereal and Ice cream for dessert. "Plus I leave near by it if you just want to hang."

Embry smiled back and laughed a little. "Yea, I think we'll definitely stop by," he told her. Regardless of the crap the guys would give him, Elaine seemed cool. He also felt bad that she was always stuck working at the diner. He would at least get some La Push kids to go over and keep her some company.
"Yea I'm sure I've got an idea where you live if you give me basic directions," he told her. "Forks is pretty small and it's not hard to find anything. "But you should come to the beach, the bonfires and stuff are usually cool to watch when there isn't a storm around. You should really take a break from work and school before you lose your mind," he suggested lightly, hoping she'd know he was joking. She seemed like she'd like the beach and find it relaxing, he'd yet to meet anyone that completely disliked it.

She smiled walking out the door. She knew this would be the fastest way. "okay I would love for you to come hang. Directions to my house that the easiest to do. See that little yellow house over there across the street." She pointed to a small house directly in front of her. "that is my house. When not at school or dinner or here I am there doing something normally cooking."
Elaine liked talking to him. "well I might think about taking a break at some point. I have only worked for 4 days and how would that look. Mame I was wondering since I have not even started school yet I start Monday do you mind if I take some time off to go visit this really cute and funny guy at La Push to see the beaches." She knew what she said and did not mind it one bit.

Embry grinned when Elaine pointed out how close her house was. He glanced across the street and sort of recognized the house she had indicated, finding that it blended in with the rest of Forks. It seemed cozy and he was glad she had someplace nice to go to after being so busy all day.
He was caught off guard when Elaine talked about going to La Push. Was she flirting with him? Embry was a little bit shyer than his friends, but even then he usually flirted in jest and usually got the point across. Embry didn't know how Elaine would react since she said she was having a hard time, so he hadn't tried. So, he was surprised when it was she who flirted with him first. "Uh... yea," he fumbled out of surprise, finding himself blushing a bit. "That sounds pretty cool," he told her, smiling. "Just stop by whenever you're free." He was usually up for anything, and he certainly didn't mind a visitor from his new friend. Especially if he was even more forward than himself. It paid to be a little daring sometimes.

Elaine smiled. "Sure when I get my first chance then I will go. It might be a while though like I said." She then held her bags starting to walk to her door. She then turned and looked at him. "So I was wondering. If I happen to make it to the whole La Push beach where would I go to find you."
Elaine liked this guy and was wondering on why she felt like this. *He is the first guy since Jason and I like to hang with her.* She smiled looking at him again thinking about it. All she knew was that she was looking forward to going surfing at the beach. It would even be fun if she was doing it with friends that she had found here in this town.

Embry mirrored the girl's own smile, a little surprised that it seemed genuine. She said she was having a hard time recently, though he didn't want to ask why and appear nosy, but at least she was smiling today. He was certainly surprised when she asked where he lived, so as to find him when she went to go hang out at La Push. He laughed softly at his luck, trying to not appear to bashful. "Well if you take the main road up straight to the beach, you can actually walk about 7 house North. It's the blue one with the white window frames." He wondered if she was actually gonna go look for him, and how soon.

Elaine nods looking at him. "okay 7 house north of the beach and blue. I can find that. When I get a chance to go down there." Elaine really like him she just hoped that he felt the same way about her. She then headed toward her house and looked at him. "So how you getting back to the Reservation. I mean I do not what you drive or how you got here."
She was willing to stay and talk to him until they got here if she had to. She stood there not leaving his side till he got ready to leave. Her car was in the parking lot but she did not feel like showing of part. "I mean you want me to wait with you."
