Character Basics
Name: Aine Ros (pronounced An-yah Rose) Corrigan
Nickname: Annie, An
Age: 18 (107)
Appearance
Looks: Red, slightly curly hair that falls just below her shoulders, though she sometimes wears it straightened. She has a sweet smile that can turn cheeky when she is in a mischievous or girly mood, which tends to be often. Her eyes are crimson, and sparkle when she laughs. She is rather short for a vampire, only 5’4” but makes up for it with attitude.
Scars, tattoos, other marks: none
Portrayed by: Isla Fisher(may include photo here)
Personality and Stats
Basic Personality: Aine is quite girly and sometimes seems shy, simply because she tends to distrust people until she gets to know them. Once she does, she shows her true colours, a bubbly, hyper girl who loves to do as she pleases, the more out-of-the-ordinary the better. She doesn’t like to be told what to do, but will usually do as she’s told if it’s by the right person. Her temper tends to get the better of her, and she has been known to have the odd shouting fit, sometimes ending up on a rampage mirroring her those her ‘mother’ tends to throw, destroying everything in her path until she finally calms down.
Species: vampire
Abilities: singing
Occupation: none
Car: black Mazda MX-5
History:
Birthplace: Cork, Ireland, 1902
Family: Mother – Aileen Corrigan, Father – Aidan Corrigan, both deceased. Coven – Lady Evangeline Badeau, Donavon McCuin
Friends: none she considers close friends other than her coven, though she is happy to make friends when they are willing to do so
History: Aine lived a fairly boring life, what she can remember of it, spending all her life in the same small area of Cork. Her parents had been average, her father a shopkeeper and her mother a seamstress. As such, her childhood was equally average. Her parents were always too busy to spend time with her, so she spent most of her time outside of school on the streets with the other local children, often staying out until very late, the neighbourhood so quiet and ordinary that the children’s parents knew they would be safe whether they were within earshot or not.
At 18, Aine had become, as expected, a fairly ordinary young woman, sharing her time between helping her mother and father and looking after the neighbours’ babies, a natural familial instinct making her an obvious choice as the ‘neighbourhood nanny’. One evening, after dropping off a dress for one of her mother’s customers several streets away, Aine was walking along a quiet back road when she heard a commotion. Thinking she heard a child crying, she went to investigate, finding a group of teenagers playing with a cat, pulling its tail and laughing at the animal’s terror. Aine stepped in, and soon realised her error when the teenagers turned on her instead, their eyes and skin far different from anything she had ever seen. They toyed with her, allowing her to escape a short distance before chasing after her and biting her, leaving her supposedly to die in pain.
Instead, she awoke days later to find herself like those who had attacked her, desperate for food. Soon, she found that the food she craved was human blood, and she realized what she had become: a vampire. Although disgusted that she could be a creature she had once thought to exist only in fairytales, she soon became used to it, once past her ‘newborn’ phase, and settled in a cottage a few miles from Cork, not wanting to leave her home entirely behind.
