Noel loved the beach it was a warm and sunny day her favorite kind of weather. She smiled as she walked slowly down the beach in her forest green and navy bikini a guazey dress over it. She had left her shoes somewhere and couldn't quite remember where but it didn't matter to her anyways. Watching as her feet sunk into the wet sand leaving her footprints behind, a gust of wind picked up her hair blowing it around wildly. Laughing Noel twirled around letting the wind take her dress blowing it up and out in a plumming way. Her mood was cheery after last nights accurances, Embry is all she had thought about as she laid awake in her bed half the night. Noel wondered what he was doing and how patrol had gone but mostly how the guys had taunted him. She only wished they would have said something to her when she was in wolf form this morning but no one spoke of it, maybe Embry had set them straight. Noel smiled at the thought before glancing around and walking into the waves up to her knees and just closing her eyes and exhaling deeply. She couldn't wait till Embry came to meet her here, her father hd left before she woke this morning a note telling her he would be gone a month this time. It would be his longest trip but she wasn't worried as long as she had Embry, she laughed as a wave sent her to her feet knocking her over by surprise. SHe just layed back her hair now soaking wet along with her gauze dress her bikini now showing through. Noel now remebered awhile ago when she met Elaine here when visiting with her father but now she was here for good. But she hadn't spoke with her in awhile and knew Elaine had forgotten her by now. Noel cleared her thoughts of everything but the gorgeous day and Embry.

The sky had survived the night and was still exposed from the night before when Embry stepped out of his house that morning. It was still cold for the average human, but Embry's body relished in the cool breeze as it caressed his warm skin. He inhaled softly, rushing out and towards the beach eager to find Noel. He had had a difficult time away from her on several fronts. After they were able to nudge through any doubts that held them back, Embry had a hard time leaving her to patrol for the night. Then there was the patrol itself. The two other wolves that had been on duty with him had not been able to escape Embry's wandering thoughts as he reviewed certain parts of his time with Noel over and over. He had tried his best to keep as many things private, but in vain. When they were not pretending to be repulsed by the admiration he expressed in his thoughts, they relentlessly teased him throughout the night.
After his shift was over, he had spent a few hours awake in bed, enjoying the privacy he'd been craving all evening, trying embed everything in his mind. He would never want to forget any of it. This, however, resulted in the loss of any rest that he needed before he was to meet Noel again at First Beach. He had finally fallen asleep and had been dreaming of the two of them laughing as the waves crashed at their feet when he was abruptly awakened by his mother. She, again, had checked into his room the night before to discover, again, that Embry was gone. She'd given him a piece of his mind for 15 minutes, before Embry had had enough and stormed out. He tried to be patient with his mother, he wasn't ready to tell her about the whole werewolf business, but it was hard to stand there and take lectures day after day.
As he approached the shores, he still had a deep line of worry on his brow, but it lessened considerable when he saw Noel waiting for him at the shore. He quickened his pace, trying to leave the argument behind him and reached Noel just as she was knocked over. He smiled brightly as she immediately gave into the force of the ocean and just laid back to enjoy it instead. "Forgot to shower last night?" he asked with a chuckle, not quite able to keep the stress out of his voice.

Noel layed he reyes closed as the waves continued to alp around her body smiling wider as a sudden shadow was cast over her opening her eyes she sat up and opened her mouth in shock at Embry's teasing words. Huffing she laughed, "I took a shower thank you! I just was distracted i had something on my mind." Noel smiled and eyed him playfully before it faded as she noticed his creased forehead, "What's wrong?" him being upset worried her maybe something happened after she left last night. The thoughts and scenareos began to file through her mind in a rapid pace. Cranning her neck to meet his eyes she waited for his answer before a wave crashed over her head causing her to spit salty water everywhere. A stinging pain throbbed in her eyes momentarily her eyes would now be bloodshot and she frowned at that but other wise she was fine, except for the gallons of water she had just swallowed.

Embry smiled gently, wondering if her distraction was anything like his. If so, then he couldn't really blame her for being so unobservant. He held out a hand to get her out of the water, kicking himself for not putting out more energy in his acting. He had come out here to see her, not to dwell in his problems at home. He forced a grin, though not to deceive. She already knew there was something not quite right; there was no point in hiding it now. He had no intention of lying to her regardless. But he didn't want to make a big deal out of it either.
"Nothing's wrong," he told her calmly, getting her to stand up. "It's just my mom acting nuts again." He shrugged slightly. "It's the same thing everyday, kinda gets old." He wasn't sure he wanted to have this discussion right there and then, but he took comfort that it would be with Noel.

Noel let her worry fade as he spoke of his mother being a little nuts this morning. Taking his hands as he pulled her to her feet she smiled and looked down at her sopping wet clothing and laughed, "I know how you feel. My dad left before i was up this morning, he has a buisness meeting in New York and wont be back till next month. So im living alone for awhile." she hadn't ever tolfd anyone she was alone when her father left people just assumed someone would be there with her. Noel shfted uneasily her once light dress was now heavier with water, laughing she smiled up as Embry still held her hands, "I would hug you...but im a little wet. Hey and you know if the fighting ever gets to bad you can always crash on my couch." she knew it might be weird for her to say but she meant it. Not being able to take the sopping wet drenched feeling anymore she let the dresses straps fall from her shoulders and land around her ankles. Noel knew it would surprise Embry since he was now standing in her forest green and navy bikini, her hair laid flat in wet dreads it seemed. But her cheeks were bright and eyes happy because she was with him now. Grinning she laughed and shifted, "I haven't had anything to eat. So you wanna head up to my place and ill fix some breakfast for us?" this was all new to her so she wasn't sure what to do.

Embry smiled when Noel stood up with him. He normally would have felt weird just standing there holding hands, but Noel made it right. He frowned slightly when she mentioned her father just leaving her like that. He knew she had a less-than-perfect relationship with him, all the others in the pack had picked up on it too. But it seemed as if she had been particularly careful to not reveal too much about it; this was news to him. "A month? he asked, a bit shocked. He knew his problems with his mother might actually be solved if he actually confronted her about his parentage, but she would never leave him like that. Embry pulled Noel to him and embraced her, ignoring her hestitation, and placed a small kiss in her hair. "Why a month?"
Embry's eyes widened when Noel was suddenly mostly naked in front of him. As a wolf, he had not seen her before or after a transformation just yet, so this much skin kind of caught him off guard. Even if he hadn't, he would have seen it in his brothers' minds already. But this intentional shedding of her clothes conjured a deep rush of blood to his face, which immediately deepened in color. He chuckled nervously, and bent down to put up her mesh dress to wring it out. "Breakfast sounds good," he said, amused. "I like toast, by the way." He would pretty much eat anything, since he'd chosen to leave his house before trying to get past his mother to get some food. Damp mesh dress in one hand, Embry used the other to take Noel's hand so she could lead the way to her house.

Noel smiled as Embry questioned the length of time her father would be gone, and smiled and closed her eyes as he pulled her close and kissed the top of her head as she said lowly, "Buisness. But its okay im used to being alone." Smiling she held back her giggles as color rushed to Embry's face at her sudden lose of clothing, she smiled as he dipped down and picked up her gauzy dress and rung it out. His fingers linking perfectly with hers as he made a lil comment about he liked toast. Laughing Noel walked ahead pulling him along to follow her up the beach towards a trail that lead to her home. Her house was hidden in the woods her fathjer liked privacy and the quiet, Noel loved it too it was her favorite place she had lived. Smirking at him she said loudly, "Okay you can have toast ill eat pancakes, bacon, sausage, and eggs all by myself." A break in the wooded path showed the two story home and Noel smiled hearing a low bark come from inside. Laughing as the little Bichon Frise bobbed up and down in the sliding glass door of the patio. Saying the waved off the pup, "Ignore Totsy. She's my dads dog." Stopping at the bottom of the stairs she smiled and waited for him to speak.

Embry's smile faltered slightly. He didn't like the idea of her being alone all the time. She was safe of course. She was more than capable of defending herself and there was the whole pack around as well, but the idea of her being left alone at home was unpleasant. He tried to think of ways to keep her away from the house so she wouldn't be lonely so much. He let her lead them up the windy path towards her abandoned house, walking silently and grinning. He pretended to look hurt when she claimed all the food to herself. "Hey! That's not fair! I'm a growing teenager and I need sustenance!. Besides, you're so little that you'll probably just explode trying to eat everything. I'm really doing you a favor," he told her, nodding wisely.
They reached the door of the Verachi home when their dog started barking madly. Embry shook his head in mock sadness and looked at the poor pup. "Sam would never allow this behavior."

Noel smiled back at Embry's teasing words about her size and laughed more once he joked about sam never allowing such disobedience as Totsy was showing. Rolling her eyes she shook her head, "Fine i guess i can share with you. And maybe i should send Totsy to sam maybe she wouldn't be so annoying after a few moments with him. Or maybe Sam would send her back before she even got there." Noel laughed a the mental picture she had painted of the scene. Taking Embry's hand she pulled him along and into the house making a face at Totsy as they passed, "She can't bother us she is locked in dads study." Moving swiftly into the kitchen she released his hand and walked to the cabinet and began taking down frying pans and the food from the fridge. As she swiftly whipped up the pancake batter she laughed and watched Embry the bacon and sausage began to sizzle in the skillet as she began to spoon the batter into the pan. She wouldn't be surprised if the rest of the pack showed up once they caught a wiff of the cooking breakfast. Setting the bowl back onto the counter Noel moved to embry and wrapped her tiny arms around his neck and stood on her tip toes to kiss his lips lightly before leaning back to smile at him. "How do you like your eggs?" she laughed and moved to begin cracking eggs.

Embry laughed, imagining Sam and the dog trying to find common ground. The poor puppy wouldn't last very long, Sam would probably try to get him to patrol the La Push perimeter like he usually did with the younger wolves. He happily watched Noel bustle about her little kitchen, extracting ingredients from different hiding places and somehow producing the delicious odor that now filled the tiny space they occupied. She moved around the counter and for a second Embry thought he needed to move because she needed to grab something. But before he could ask what it was, her hands were around his neck. Smiling in surprise, he automatically brought her in from the waist and kissed her as lightly as she did. Before he could make a move to keep here there, she was already gone and cracking eggs.
He had lost his train of thought from her distraction, but suddenly remembered what it was that she was asking. "Oh.. um... scrambled, I guess," he answered. "With cheese," he added more brightly. He felt his stomach rumble in approval.

Her lips still tingling from the contact with Embry’s as she cracked a whole dozen eggs into a large glass bowl. Smirking as Embry said scrambled with cheese, grabbing a wisk out of a canister that held various cooking utensils. Whipping the eggs quickly Noel began to roll the chunk of butter around the frying pan as so to coat the whole pan as it melted. Once the butter was completely melted she swiftly poured the scrambled eggs into the pan and set the bowl in the sink. Noel smiled at Embry as she opened the fridge, “Scrambled cheese eggs coming right up!” she smiled and grabbed the cheese out of a drawer along with the orange juice, setting the carton on the counter she sprinkled cheese into the pan of eggs and mixed it in. Sighing she laughed as she flipped the pancakes again and moved to grab five plates from the cabinet. After laying the pile of pancakes on one plate and sausage and bacon on another she covered them and pulled herself onto the island beside the stove top and stirred the eggs. Turning off the stove top she smiled and looked over at Embry before holding up her finger to beckon him closer, smiling Noel laughed crossing her legs as she sighed, “There’s a rule here in my house. And it is when company is over those who intend on eating kiss the cook. But you don‘t have to if you don‘t want.” she smiled over at him playfully before starting to spoon eggs onto both their plates. Sighing in victory at the feast she had prepared, she had already drank a smoothie this morning because she didn’t want to take the time to eat when she was supposed to be meeting Embry. But she wasn’t about to let him know that, she was extremely hungry now though after the run she took this morning and the walk on the beach the berry smoothie had worn off.

Embry watched Noel expertly navigate her way around the kitchen and through the ingredients of her cooking. When they all turned wolf, they had gained a gracefulness that they had never possessed in the way they moved. He had not seen the way it was employed as it was with Noel. He had only tried to cook a handful of times, but he didn't realize that you could do so much more, which was probably everyone else's cooking was better than his. The aroma had him smiling, though the fact that the girl in the bikini was the one producing it. Soon enough, the meal had suddenly appeared before them, looking as good as any breakfast Emily had ever made them. He was satisfied in knowing that he wouldn't have to share with a dozen other wolfs, just one.
His eyes widened slightly and a blush colored his features when she gave him notice of her house's rules. Thus far, the few kisses they'd shared were mainly initiated by her, not that he complained. In fact, it kind of made things easy for him. Though he was just as sure of her as she was of him, it had never been easy for him to just jump into things like that. The sweet smile was the thing that encouraged his legs to work, carrying him around the counter to where she stood. He felt awkward as he usually did, but reached out confidently to take her hand and pulled her towards him to snake the other arm around her tiny waste. He laughed softly at his own shyness and at her silly rule. "I guess some rules aren't so bad, I wonder why I ever had any issues with them." He slowly pulled her closer to take in a fresh breath eggs, sea water, pancakes and Noel before softly touching his lips to hers.

Noel smiled at Embry as he neared her with slight hesitation, she smiled and laughed lightly as he pulled her closer as his arm wrapped around her waist. She laughed at his notion of how her rules weren't so bad before she found his lips on her own, leaning back she smiled placing her hands on his shoulders and kissed his neck lightly, "Im glad you don't object. Now are you ready for some serious eating? cause im starving." Noel smiled and leaned back slightly propping herself up with her hands as she stared at him. Inhaling deeply Noel now noticed she smelled of the sea and this made her laugh, so many times when she was younger she couldn't stand the sea salty smell. Running a hand through her hair she smiled before watching Totsy come padding into the kitchen leaning onto the counter she looked around the corner to see the tiny hole in the door and laughed, "Totsy! i can't believe you chewed through the door. You little rascal!" Noel smiled looking down at the white ball of fluff that sat on the floor wiggling in excitment.

A hot tingle ran from the spot she had kissed him on the neck to the rest of his body. He held her there for a moment, but he was foiled by the dog. He hadn't really paid much attention to it other than the one teasing comment when they had first come into the house, but if the little thing was gonna interrupt him and Noel like his, he was going to have problems. He grinned as he watched her reprimand the dog's chewing expedition, and turned around to grab a sausage off the nearest plate. He found a seat and ripped off a piece of pancake. "Hey do you have any forks in this place or do I have to phase to get fed around here?" he teased. "This looks great," he added gratefully.
