Character Basics
Name: Marisela
Nickname: none
Age: 120 (Born in 1885, physically 18 years old)
Appearance
Looks: Marisela is slender, 5'2'' in height, pale skin (though in life she had tanned skin) with long dark brown hair, she is rather beautiful but hardly smiles which gives her more of a cold appearance. She has slanted eyes and a flat nose with thick lips. In her human life she was a lot more jovial and always had a smile on her face but that is just a shadow of her past. Tends to favor the Italian and French fashions from the past but once in a while will dress in 1900 circa fashion from the Philippines, clothing she'd managed to save and keep in pristine condition.
Scars, tattoos, other marks: a few bites on her neck and right thigh
Portrayed by: Anne Curtis
Personality and Stats
Basic Personality: Unlike her fellow Volturi members, Marisela is somewhat more of a hermit than the others and prefers to be left alone compared to being surround by her fellow guards. Even though its been decades since she knew what it was like to feel human. Marisela sees them as the villians.

Occupation: Volturi Guard
Car: her own feet
History: It was an unusally cold day in Manila when Jinky Padilla gave birth to her 6th child, third daughter, to her surprise. The midwife had told her that she'd forseen trouble with the child and hadn't promised that it would have lived long. So when a healthy baby girl popped out Wilfredo and his wife, Jinky, were surprised and felt that their daughter was meant for bigger and better things. Wilfredo was a poor farmer, barely able to make payments on his land, but he was a hard worker and with the help of his sons was able to at least put food on the table. It wasn't until Marisela was ten years of age that her parents made a deal with a man from Manila. He would pay for their land if they would grow a certain crop for him.
In the beginning it was easy, Wilfredo ignored what he was doing believing it was for the sake of his family. It wasn't until word was beginning to spread of his new fortune that people had begun to get suspicous. When word finally got out that it was an american man that had offered to pay for the bill people were angry. The family had betrayed their fellow countrymen and gone with the people who claimed to have liberated them. One night, it happened to be a cold and wet night, it was right after her 18th birthday, they'd come for her family. Bituin, her husband of two years, had come running into the house, he'd gone to the market to buy alcohol, warning the family of the news. It was to late. Just as he'd walked into the house he was gun down from behind, a mob was coming from the front of the house and Wilfredo knew that they were trapped.
Marisela ran to her husband's side, all the while crying, as she pulled him away from the door with the help of her brother Manny-boy. Bituin was luckily still alive though was fading rapidly and with a blood stained hand he caressed his young wifes cheek, whispering for her and her family to run. It wasn't until the third day that Marisela was alone, standing beside her older brother, Ulysses, body that she felt dead inside. The mob could still be heard in the distances and from where she stood she could see them. When one of the men noticed her she took off running, faster than she had ever in her life and she'd reached a river that would have taken her over an hour in less than 30 minutes.
The woman was someone she'd never seen before but her beauty was undenible. It was apparent that she was filipina but she'd look mix for some reason and the clothing she wore was more western than native. At first Marisela was nervous but when it was apparent that she wasn't part of the mob she'd begun to beg for shelter. In a soothing voice in Ilocano, a language that wasn't familiar with her, she'd lured her over to the other side of the river. It wasn't until a few days later that she awoke, unsure where she was or what had happened, but the burning in her throat was overwhelming that it she bolted up hitting her head on a bunk bed. The woman she'd encountered was named Honorata and she had been traveling in the woods to her hut. The men who had been hunting Marisela had been dealt with but a few had been kept for a particular reason. Marisela would soon understand and her hatred would begin. The same men who had killed her family would soon die a much more painful death.
During her travels in Europe, Marisela came upon the Volturi and impressed with her speed and agility, they invited her to become a member of their guard. This was in 1908 and she has been a member ever since.
