*Just after 'Breaking Dawn' It was cool and rainy in Washington. Typical of the city, as the young red haired woman had grown custom too. In the time she'd been within the states. What she had seen in all her years was unknown. But what truly took all was what had taken place most recent with Renesmee an the rest of the Cullen clan. The birth of the child was a miracle in itself. It would bring a great many changes, one she wasn't sure that the world was ready for yet. But she was behind Carlisle anyway she need be. She wouldn't forget what she had seen.
But no though as she stalked far enough from the Cullen territory in search of something worth eating to satisfy her craving for blood at the moment. She hadn't eaten recently so she was hungry enough it took will power not to attack the first human she saw. But she managed, and moved slowly from the Cullen lands, out to where the others had hunted. As strange as all the things were around her she had to admit in some ways the city was growing on her. She couldn't be sure if it was purely herself or if young Renesmee was the reason behind it. Either way even as she searched for food, she considered staying if only for a little while longer.
Rain fell slower and softer so that it was hardly heard much less felt. Still though she was content. To her the coolness felt good. She being as she was, a vampyre knew nothing of heat or cold like humans did. She was clothed in attire that was hardly 'standard' for rainy weather. But as it was it truly didn't affect her as it did humans. She had in her years known a few vaympres that she had wondered often if they would even wear clothes if it weren't for humans to stare in disbelief. It was one thing in the sun to sparkle, on just faces and arms and perhaps neck. But to sparkle all over, that would surly turn heads.
A sigh escaped her, it was to rainy to hunt perhaps. But surly someone somewhere was near by and would prove enough to satisfy one such as herself.

After the encounter with the Volturi that almost escalated into a fight that would have cost all of them their lives, Eleazar was now grateful for the calm after the storm. He was in no rush to return home to Alaska. Plus Renesmee did have a certain draw to her, it was fascinating to watch the speed at which she matured. Eleazar had decided their were plenty of locations to visit in the area, should they choose to come back to Forks again before they headed home. Seattle would have nice shopping areas so that he could pick up some nice things for Carmen, who he knew also liked staying close to the new Cullen child.
The day was rainy which made it perfect for them to be out. It also meant that many humans didn't make the trek out to the local shops, so there would be less temptation for them in the city. They hadn't been walking too long before he picked up a familiar scent. It seemed one of the other witnesses had decided to stay in the area as well. Until he got closer, he couldn't quite distinguish which of the Irish women it was. He gave a gentle smile as he and Carmen approached her.
"Good day Siobhan" He greeted her with a Spanish accent hovering over the English words.

OOC: Forgive the shortness and crud of the post, mass writer' block. Much stress in RL IC: It was true, the encounter with the Volturi wasn't something any of the vampyres would soon to forget. Easily lives could have been lost. The large Irish woman was grateful that wishful thinking and a little luck hadn't made them all nothing more than a distant memory, if even that. Rensemee was a blessing in herself. And truly worth every moment of it all. Siobhan wouldn't have wished to change any part of it. No part of it was easy, but yes it was worth it.
Even now in the rain, Siobhan looked almost annoyed with hunger, though most was hidden by the rosey look to her cheeks. The rain was putting a damper on them being out and about. Sighing, she hid it away farther and moved on along the forest edge. Suddenly though the scent and sound of another put her momentarily on edge. She peered through the expanse of space before her before her eyes found the face. She smiled back ever so as she recognized the face.
"Eleazar, 'Ello how are you my dear?" She asked pleasantly her Irish accent heard heavily into her voice as she didn't try to mask it.

Carmen walked easily by Eleazar’s side, a wistful look in her deep toffee eyes as the couple left the Cullens and their miracle child behind. She had been the first to accept Renesmee into her heart and since that moment, the effect of the vampire hybrid had spread through her system - she was the most charming child that Bella and Edward could have hoped for. She had always been fairly content with her existence, very content, in fact, once she met Eleazar and they had found the Denalis and their way of life. She had to admit, though, that seeing them with Renesmee, such a sweet, perfect little family, a true blood related family, it set up a yearning in her heart that she had never had before. She knew it was impossible, and her sensibilities told her that she only wanted it because she couldn’t have it, but with the fight avoided, it seemed that her mind kept coming back to that fact.
She looked up at Siobhan, the beautiful, large lady from the Irish coven and smiled at her in greeting. “Hola,” she added, simply, to Eleazar’s elegant voice. She lifted a delicate hand to brush a rain matted piece of hair out of her face and continued to smile peaceably at the other vampire.
“We’re doing well, Siobhan,” she told her, her eyes flicking up to Eleazar to make sure he didn’t mind her answering for them. “We just left the Cullens and la bonita, the rest of the family, I think they’ve gone north, bur we thought we’d stay around for a while. Y you?”

Siobhan smiled at Carmen, as the young vampyre walked at Eleazar's side. They reminded her a little of herself and Liam. She thought fondly of him a moment then let her mind back to the two here now an little Renesmee. 'Nessie' as the Werewolf had taken to calling her. It had been funny seeing Bella protesting of it at first than in the end to call the young girl that herself. The whole family, extend werewolves included was sweet and truly perfect. Siobhan loved that close net feel to it all.
"Hello, hun." She asked making it sound more a question in her thick accent. Her smile shown to her eyes, making them bright in the light around them.
"Glad to hear it." She smiled again, looking to Eleazar and Carmen each in turn. She thought it was cute that they spoke for each other. She and Liam did the same at times so she saw nothing of it. "Ye! Same for me, not sure if I'm heading back now or to wait a bit. Not ready to leave that 'Nessie' as much as I miss my homeland." She chuckled lightly.

Eleazar smiled as Carmen was at his side. He had no qualms with her answering for the both of him. They knew each other well enough that they could almost always know how the other person would answer. It was a comfort how well they knew each other. He had seen Siobhan and Liam and knew that the two of them were just as close. He enjoyed seeing others of his kind who were able to find their mates. It made living forever so much more enjoyable.
He nodded understandingly as she spoke of not being sure whether she was ready to leave Nessie yet. Carmen had been so quickly taken with the child that he knew that she enjoyed staing here still. It hadn't taken himself long afterwards to realize how special she was. "The girl is hard to leave. I have a feeling the Cullens will have frequent visitors, especially while she's still growing"

Carmen grinned at Siobhan as she mentioned her own draw to Nessie, her wide, pointed smile lightening up her faintly olive complexioned face. She knew that, by the end of their stay, everyone had formed their own bond with the miracle child, but Carmen’s heart lifted whenever she heard anyone voice it. There had been a time when they first arrived that she had felt doubt that anyone, particularly of her own family, would accept the hybrid. After all, her sisters had suffered most cruelly at the inception of the immortal child. They had lost their mother, their confidence and the hub of their family, only to be somewhat repaired when herself and Eleazar had joined them. Even Eleazar had been slower to accept the child than she had expected.
“I’m sure that the Cullens wouldn’t mind an extended visit,” she said, sympathetically, agreeing with Eleazar’s assessment that they could expect a lot of visitors in Nessie’s fleeting child years. She expected her parents wanted some alone time with her, though, considering the whirlwind that they had been through since even before her birth. She threaded her arm through the crook of Eleazar’s elbow out of sheer comfortable habit. “It is difficult to leave - when we don’t really know what age she’ll be the next time we visit…”

OOC: I appoligize for the delay, college started back trying to get everything together for that. IC: The chemstry and love between the pair before her was obvious. Liam would have liked seeing it she thought, a pair like themselves content together. They too would often finish sentences for each other. And knew each intimately enough that their thoughts and feelings were often know before they were even put to thought. Vampyres were the only 'creatures' Siobhan had ever known to have that deep a feel for others of their kind. Humans to her seemed far to selfish and self-centered to be conserned with such a thing. It was sad really. Humans would be a lot happier if they could learn to be more in tune with someone besides just themselves. But that would likely never happen.
At his nod Siobhan nodded again, herself. "It is true, all children grow up to quickly. But I almost fear for young Nessie if she will grow to quickly and miss out on a 'normal' childhood." She said using 'normal' losely but still being as she was a mix of both human and vampyre it was a contant question with her. The Voultri had seen her as a threat because of "what" she was not caring for the who. Siobhan was glad she knew the "who" but still worried for the young girl.
Torn from her thoughts she nodded, "We can only hope for yes, eh?" She gave a light laugh. "I have known the Cullens for some time. I'm sure they won't mind us lingering a bit." She replied her voice holding the same sympathetic tone to it. "That is is, I almost fear for the child what your Nessie's life will hold for her being as she is." Siobhan said putting her thoughts to words.

Eleazar nodded understanding what Siobhan meant by fearing for Nessie losing a normal childhood. It was a worry that he had as well. They had no ideas really what to expect from her growth, or if she'd even notice missing a childhood, or whether she'd experience it, and just appear older than she was. "I worry about that for her too" He told her honestly. "But with that family, she has the best possible chance of them making it as normal as can be for her" He added with a smile. They already had the family structure down, and it was obvious they all loved her. They would make sure she was alright.
He nodded again, agreeing with her thought that the Cullens wouldnt mind them staying. "They are very hospitable hosts. " he listened to her express her fear for Nessie, he could only imagine the type of fear that Bella and Edward must have for their daughter.

“Sí,” Carmen agreed with her husband, her hand entwining in his. She loved the family structure that had been missing for the vastest of periods in her long life. Even before she had struggled more actively with the vampiric lifestyle, she had struggled with the loneliness. It had turned her into an odd vampire, who preferred to engross herself in a good book rather than hunt or fight. She got company from her books, and it was whilst reading that she first met Eleazar. After that, her yearning to have a group of people to love – a family – just continued to grow, until they met the Denalis; a chance encounter that Carmen could only put down to fate.
“The Cullens are a strong family – she will be well raised, I am sure. The family also deserve la niña, she will be a benefit to them also. She is a bright one, the little one and will cope perfectly, I’m sure,” she smiled, turning from her husband to her new acquaintance, addressing them both equally. Her deep, golden eyes turned whimsical in thought once more.
"I do wonder, though, if they shall choose to stay in Forks and be hidden, or otherwise to move away? It is a difficult choice for them, I am sure." It was an issue that the Denalis did not have to contend with as their house was so remote from human life - as they wished it to be. It was different for the Cullens, who tried to, commendably, involve themselves in human society where possible.

It was very true the Cullen's could take care of their own. They had survived this long, the hadn't have any troubles, until recently but even that they pulled through. Nothing in life is easy for human or vampyres. "Aye that the young one' will." She smiled in agreement, her accent heard in her soft voice.
Siobhan had always believed in family and been big on the concept of it all. Family was important, not just for humans but for vampyres, they eren't the ruthless horrible mean 'creatures' they were seen to be. She knew it well she had it in Liam and saw it in the Cullens love was what kept even the vampyres even that little bit 'human'
"Aye, I know, I've no doubts that they'll raise her well. She will do them well too, all of us in fact I think she'll do a lot of all of us." She nodded in agreement.
"I wonder the same, but I'd hate for young Bella to have to leave her father, family is everythiung. I couldn't imagine making that kind of choice myself.." She said with a sigh, she had but so young, new to the 'life' it was always hard.

"Her mind is already so mature and developed, its hard to believe is truly in need of being raised at all" Eleazar said with a light laugh. The young girl was already maturing into a fine woman, she'd need a bit of guidance from the Cullens yes, but she was already learning so quickly, he didn't imagine they'd need to do much raising of her at all.
Eleazar nodded agreeing with Siobhan's thoughts on Bella's relationship with her father and the difficulty it would be for her to leave him. "Yes, I'm sure it would be difficult for her to make that decision...but I think even if she left forks, they wouldn't move so far that she couldn't come visit him...its amazing as a newborn...or one of us at all, that she's even still able to see him, she is as special as her daughter"

Carmen’s mouth automatically reshaped itself into a light smile in response to her husband’s laugh; the rich sound never failing to warm her cold heart. However, as he continued to give his opinion on the situation, her thoughts once again returned to the parents. She had been so focused on the little girl that only a few fleeting thoughts had been expended on Bella and Edward beyond their good fortune and the good environment that they gave the little one.
“Perhaps it may be difficult for the little one’s parents to be rushed through the early ‘years’ so quickly. Though, on the other hand, Bella is so young on all counts, maybe she will count it as a blessing instead,” her smile shifted in her thoughts as they moved to consider Bella’s unprecedented relationship with her biological father. In all her long years as a vampire she had never heard of any of them being able to stand being around their human families. Usually it was the case that they just slaughtered them, but a fair minority also fled them with the fading compassion left over from being human.
“It is a shame that their skills cannot be taught, maybe then…” she trailed off, offering a half smile. Her wish that the compassion that was shown by the Cullens and the Denali Coven was universal was well known, but she suddenly wondered if it would be rude to voice such an opinion to one that did not follow their own ideals. Whilst she had no problem with Siobhan’s diet, she had no wish to sound like she was preaching to her about their own.

"Aye it is. She is so very smart, it's hard to believe how young she compared to how smart she is. I know she'll be so very grand in her later years." She nodded at the laugh, a smile crossed her face. She smiled too at Carmen they were perfect together. Everyone needed a little extra guidance, even children as gifted as young Nessie. It too was true that it was great for even the smallest light in life to warm even the coldest heart of vampyres as well.
"That worries me too. Children grow so fast to begin with but little Nessie, with her growing as she does." She agreed then added with a light chuckle, "Aye it is. She is a bright one an young too she can relate to her being not far off from the childhood herself." She agreed.
Siobhan didn't like leaving her family alone all those many years ago but she didn't have much choice it
As Carmen's voice trailed off Siobhan tipped her head to the side lightly but didn't question it she simply nodded lightly. She honestly though would have taken offence if Carmen had finished that thought. She knew there were the vegetarian vampyres she had no ill feelings against them just as she hope they had none against her choice in her diet. "The life aye we have to learn the skills we need to survive. Even more so for us perhaps all that we must learn to keep hidden from the humans."

Eleazar nodded, agreeing with his wife’s thoughts on how it could be difficult on Bella and Edward to have the rush through the early years of Renesmee’s life at such a rapid pace. “Getting through the tantrums of toddler years is probably a relief, but I’m sure there are moments they would have liked to hold on to longer, and she never quite did have the child’s naievity that a human infant would have held, so intelligent from the start” he commented.
As Eleazar listened to the start of Carmen’s next statement, he thought it wise that she stopped from completing it, knowing where it was headed. While they had both gladly adopted the vegetarian lifestyle, they were very tolerant of others choices to live their life in other ways. Afterall, he spent many years that way himself.
As Eleazar looked to Siobhan he was glad to see that she did not seem to be offended by what Carmen had begun to say. “Keeping ourselves hidden is one thing that I hope Nessie’s advanced mindset will allow her to learn early. “
