"So now you want the beach?" Paul asked surprised she had settled for that. He then started walking the right way out.
OOC:Gah sorry. I shouldn't have even posted but..better than nothing? It won't happen again.

Lexi shrugged. "Well, I mean...I really rather get to my car, but hey...the beach would be fine too." OOC: It's okay, mine's rather short too

Paul looked at Connor, not wanting to walk away from him and end all chances of winning his friend back. He was doing whatever he could to stall. "I can get you to your car if you'd like. You don't have to go to the beach." he said while paused where he was. He looked at Connor again, hoping he'd jump in somehow. It was beginning to get dark, though it was only around noon. The sky was filled with clouds. Not that that was very different for the area, but, it wasn't tourist beach weather.

Lexi smiled. "No no...I do want to go to the beach." She laughed slightly, running a hand through her hair. "I would just like to get to my car first."

Connor gave a shrug as he looked between them. The way the two of them were going back and forth it certainly seemed like Lexi and Paul had known each other longer, but whatever it was Connor would leave it alone for now.
"Beach, car, we can get you wherever you want" Connor said, not really minding where they stopped along the way or which was their final destination. "I can guide you to the main road, but you'll have to remember where you parked" He said with a smile, knowing that part he couldn't help her with if she had forgotten where she left the car. He could take her to any permanent place, that didnt move around.

Lexi's attention snapped back over to Connor. "Yeah, if you could show me to my car and then the main road to get to the beach, that would be fantastic!" She smiled at him.

"Would be my pleasure miss" Connor said, pretending to tip the corner of an imaginary hat that did not in fact exist on the top of his head as he smirked at her. He took the lead and started off towards the main road, knowing they weren't really all that far from it, just deep enough in the woods that everything looked the same to those who hadn't practically been raised in them.
"So what do you need to get from your car? If you don't mind me asking" He said wondering why she wanted to stop their first or if she just planned to drive down to the beach. Really nothing on the reservation was too far that you couldn't get their in a short walk's distance.

Lexi began to follow Connor. "Oh, I need to grab my uh...my uh..my swim suit." She avoided his gaze. She was sure most girls came to La Push, already wearing theirs.

OOC:Sorry I've been idle. Crap at home =/ Paul followed Lexi and Connor towards the road. He could tell Connor was suspicious of his relationship with Lexi. He just didn't care at that moment. He'd straighten things out later. He wanted to just make a run for it, disappear and be alone. It was, afterall, the reason he was out. He did, however, fear that if he left, his chances with Connor would be gone. He wondered what was going to happen after they showed Lexi back. Wouold they just go back home? Lexi's words interrupted his thoughts. She came here withough a bathing suit on? he asked himself with a light chuckle. This girl knew nothing about La Push.

Lexi followed Connor in compelte silence. She could feel Paul walking behind her and knew that he must be laughing about her not having her suit on. She felt stupid! Everyone knew about the beach, even she did! Why didn't she just put her suit on before she left the house? Oh right, she hadn't planned on going swimming!
She had only said that to get out of their hair. She felt bad and all, but they were kind of starting to get on her nerves with their constant, Want to go to the beach? She rolled her eyes to herself, shaking her head slightly.

Connor gave a glance over his shoulder back at Lexi as she told him she had forgotten his swimsuit. Maybe her and Paul were gonna go skinny dipping til I showed up... He wondered to himself, still not trusting that he knew everything about what was going on with his friend. He knew he was hiding something, so hiding a girl could be just as good of an excuse as any.
"Just to warn you, there's really not many places to change down at the beach, except maybe behind a tree" He told her with a slight smirk. "So Lexi...do you come down here often? " He asked her, trying not to make it sound like a cheesey pickup line but instead hoping to keep up friendly conversation before it all just became even more awkward, if that was possible.

Lexi shrugged. "I don't mind changing behind a tree." She mummbled.
"No, I usually tend to stick with Port Angeles or Forks. This is really my first time down to La Push."

Connor smirked to himself as Lexi admitted to not minding changing behind a tree. At least that meant she probably wasnt one of those prissy girls, the type who would need only the best and probably be disgusted by the first sight of dirt, or discouraged that there wasn't a heated pool around when the wonderful ocean lay in front of them.
"Well, then welcome to the Quileute Reservation and LaPush. Paul and I are happy to be your tourguides, keep your hands inside of the bus and at the request of our friend seeing bears, don't feed the bears if you see any" He told her. "So were you hoping for some alone time? Or would it be alright if we joined you for a swim?" He asked her, including Paul in his request, not wanting to leave his friend a way out unless he directly made one for himself, not that Paul needed an excuse lately to ditch him. Connor looked over his shoulder at this friend trying to see if he could catch a reaction of how Paul felt about the idea of sticking together awhile longer.

Paul perked up a little after Connor had made the offer. It sounded like he actually wanted Paul to come along. He smiled slightly, though he didn't look up at Connor. "We would be glad to join you, but only if you'd like." he said to Lexi, accepting Connor's sort of invitation at the same time. Why was Connor doing this anyway? It seemed like he wanted to talk with Paul, but, did he see an opportunity to talk any time soon? They'd be with Lexi. Paul also didn't want to ditch Lexi until she was completely uninterested in their company.
Paul knew his friend had thought he ditched him. He just couldn't figure out whether he wanted to give him a second chance or not. He seemed like he wasn't going to let Paul leave until he knew what was wrong. This was going to be bad. If Connor insisted on getting Paul to explain what was up, Paul would have to deny him an answer. Either that or lie..but Paul didn't want to lie to Connor. Besides, Connor was one of the few people that could usually tell when Paul was lying. If Paul lied, it could damage their friendship even further. Why couldn't Connor just phase already?!? He hated this.

Lexi stepped over some more fallen branches. She smiled a little, looking at the guys. "That could be fun!" She laughed slightly. "With my luck, I'd end up at a totally different beach or just swim out far enough to where it wasn't safe."
She tucked a strand hair behind her ear. She was surprised that they had offered, but hey, she might as well take them up on that offer.
